K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	VSC has yet to cash check or do anything!!!	Hi, It does work, use the "sign up for case updates" Then choose "register as an applicant customer" Accept the agreement Fill out the online "form" and hit submit at the end At that point you can sign in and add your "receipt number " ( don't use the dashed ) to your portfolio and see what is going on. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interview date set !	Im 26 and I was told I had to have HepAB.....? That's odd, i wasn't asked for it AT ALL!! The clinic i went to only asked for what the consulate asked for. They had a sheet with requirements. I also brought the sheet from the panel physicians website as well and was marking it off as i went along. HEP shots are typically for 18 years of age or under.... When i went for mine , which was last friday all they asked for were the following: a verbal declaration that i had chicken pox at some point a tetunus shot within the last ten years, ( i had one on July 2nd of this year ) and they looked for shots for Mumps, Measles and Rubella No mention of HEP A OR B ( those are for 18 years of age or under ) I went to Medisys in Montreal on Sherbrooke........ http://www.panelphys.../Pages/Age6.htm Edited by MSR, 16 September 2010 - 04:34 PM. Completely surprised as we were anticipating another few months at best. We are now just waiting for the hard copy in the mail and Ken will send me instructions etc.. Great Feeling ~ Hang on guys! Congradulations!! Expect to see another letter from the NVC soon as well. We were approved on June 4th and just received another letter from the NVC notifying that our case has been forwarded to the Montreal Consulate; And here i'd been calling everyday to see if they had even received it yet! This whole process is stressful. It's the "not knowing" that makes it that way. I think the NOA2 is only the first step. Interesting, i dont have a record, but opted for the Commissionaire as it was much quicker to get. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Police Certificates for Canada - Do I need to contact each locality or can I just contact RCMP?	Hi there I did a lot of research about this as well and it can be quite confusing. I called the R.C.M.P and they said it can take months to get a cross canada police check. However the person on the phone said i could go to a Commissionaire's office here locally, they would take my fingerprints and send it electronically to the R.C.M.P, who would then process within 72 hours. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	IRS filing I-864..no return filed last year..	I know I've seen the answer to this question, but I can't find it in the forums. My wife did not file a tax return for 2009 because she was a student and didn't make any money. I know someone pointed someone to a form off the IRS website that you can download and present an official IRS form for not having filed for a certain year. Anyone got that info? Thanks. This is the form you are referring to. http://www.irs.gov/p...-pdf/f4506t.pdf ( you will put a check mark next to numer 7 ( Verification of Nonfiling ) We got one too for our interview for the year 2009. What you'll get back is a letter from the IRS stating that you request a letter of non filing for the year ........... and that you can consider "this" letter as that letter. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	NOA2 Received!!!!	Well I expected to wait the 5 months for the NOA2 out of California. My husband received it today!!!! Only 3 months and no REF's. We are very excited now. I have checked on timelines for Montreal from NOA2 to interview. Says 225 days. anyone get there sooner????? 197 Days for us, although it seemed a lot longer at the time. Good morning everyone, I know this has to be in here somewhere so if you want to throw me the link that I'll gladly read up on it but its still early and I can't seem to find it.... My NOA2 was issued quite quickly but as we all know MOntreal is really slow at schedualing interviews. My questions is my NOA2 expires Oct 11th. I have read somewhere that they can be extended 1 time for a four month period....my question is how is that done? I have read in some places that the Consulate does it automatically and in other places I've read that a letter or a form or something has to be filled out to request the extension....can someone let me know what we will need to do if my interview is not before Oct 11? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Montreal Interview -DOS Phone Scheduale	I find everytime I call someone has something different to say & I never hear the same thing twice (except for no, no interview) My fiance called when we were waiting for P3 to be logged & they told him that MTL only books interviews the first week of the month. As we all know that isn't true! My fiance called this morning as a result of what the woman at DOS told me yesterday and was told that September interviews will be booked and show in their system after the middle of august. However, HalfnHalf recently got a September interview. I think this may be because they have been waiting since May so it was first come , first serve ( as it should be, they had been waiting a long while ) Let's hope that they will book for September AFTER the middle of August. However, the odd thing was, she said that Montreal is the ONLY consulate processing K1 visa's which we all know is not true. I pressed her on this a little, ( in a polite way of course ) but she insisted that Montreal, again, is the only consulate processing them I think i've just shown that some of these folks have no idea what is going on lol. Need help its really urgent	Dear VJ's, I applied for the Birth Certificate and they stated that they are not able to find my records..... Please can you let me know whats the other alternative. The issuing authority has also mentioned that they are ready to issue me a letter that they are not able to find my records, will that work. Along with that I do have my school certificate which states my DOB and also the affidavits from my parents. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Scheduling interview appointment w/o letter from Consulate	I'm not sure if you'll be going through Montreal or Vancouver, but Montreal people definitely schedule their own interview. It all works totally different than what's on the guides now. Montreal sends you packet 3 and tells you you can schedule an interview. I don't even know if there is a packet 4 anymore. But we definitely schedule our own interviews. Has been that way since September. I can only speak for myself, i had my interview in October so perhaps my experience can help shed some light. I still received the Packet 4 letter , it didn't advise me of an interview date, it provided a link where i could schedule my own interview date. I believe this was the same for the other interviewee's in October. You will get Packet 3 first, then wait for it to be logged, Then receive packet 4 with the link to schedule your interview. We got our NOA 2 after 57 days ( Vermont ) and waited about 61 days for an interview in Montreal. No NOA1,nothing yet... We think that our package(and packages what been sent in July to TSC) processing in Vermont... I guess so because one friend of mine called to USCIS and they said that you already could file the packages to the new addresses... My fiance met with senator and he is willing to help us...
