Oooh K! Now I understand! You have to excuse me, because I never done this before and all this reading is making it slow to click upstairs. Thanks for link!

Well, I'll just have to get a job and get help from one of my friends for the fee. So hopefully before the interview either my Ministry is large enough to work full time, I have a good enough job to take care of her or I can finish my first XBox console game and make a big sale!

Thanks again everyone for clearing this up for me!

Check the Phillipines forum for more info/advice.

Where is the Philippines forum? WOuld you give me a link, because either your referring to another site or I just can't find here..

Well, if there government was not so corrupt she would be able to take care of her family mush better. She has eight sisters and three brothers and their still having financial shortage. One of her brothers is mentally ill.

Remember I've been there and seen their poverty status. There worst off then the US. Not all! But, too much of it is bad! So, for them not want to recieve outside help is far beyond me.

you may want to check out the Philippines' regional forums for more detailed answers. especially for questions about the financial support requirements. correct me if i'm wrong and sorry if someone already said this but i do believe that the Philippines is one of the countries that don't allow/ and or frown upon co-sponsors to show financial stability.

I don't quite understand want you mean about the Philippines "frowning upon co-sponsore showing financial stability". Are you saying they don't like me supporting my fiance finacially? All the Philippinos I know her especially the mothers love it that I do that! So you must referring to the government?

You'll need any evidence proving you have actually met in person within the past two years. That means you'll probably want to send along with the I-129F petition the following: boarding passes, passport stamps, itinerary, hotel receipts or any other receipts, atm withdrawls in the foreign country, photos(VJ members send a different number of photos, some of them only two, while others send 30.)

Oh yes, I have everything mention. In fact, I have about sixteen pictures of us together in serveral places, even in the lobby of the hotel and two pictures of both of us with her parents at Trinoma Mall.

Thanks for help!

You also need to file it before the Jul 20th (I think it what you said) date that was the last time you've seen her in two years, or you get to get on a plane again.

I hear ya! Something I don't wont to do! I'd rather have it done know in this term. She is a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, caring woman! Very family oriented and faithful! She's the woman and wife of my dreams and I don't wont to lose her! She wants to get married and have a family and I know she will get upset if I allow this term to elapse! She finally made up her mind that she wants to marry me, because all the other men she had dated only wanted her for sex without getting married. That was a BIG turn off to her!

So over the years she has now fallen in love with me, but it came after I was laid off from the Post Office. So I'm scrambling to pull this off before July 30th!

Thanks everyone! You have been most helpful in clearing up what I need to do. Looks like the best route is to see about getting the Fee paid and then get another job that pays well enough to make this process successful.

Correction...

For the petition no evidence of any relationship is required EXCEPT a letter of intent to marry. The need to prove a relationship comes at the visa interview at the consulate. USCIS could not possibly care less if you have a "relationship" at this point. The only thing you need to prove is

1. YOU are a US citizen
2. You are both free and willing to marry
3. You have met in person in the last two years

That is all. Anything else is facetious BS for the petition.

Wow! That's it? So do I still need to send all this stuff I've been reading in the "Assembling the I-129F Package"?

You are joking right? In this proces you MUST prove (not once but twice) that you can financially support your fiancee/wife. You want to tell them you CAN support your wife but you CAN'T pay a $455 fee? Are you aware of all the fees? The $455 is the "down payment" Are you aware you have to rpove you can support her AND your other dependents?

Yea, I'm aware of all the expenses it will take to process the Visa. Also wanted to mention in the working is my own business outside the Ministry is developing Christian adventure and action games base on the Word of God for XBox, Wii, Sony, etc... Hoping to have my first game completed by Dec for Christmass. Before working witht he Post Office I worked as a Software Engineer for 16+ years. If push comes to shove then I would have no choice to find another job while doing the ministry.

How would I include this in the documents to show I will be able to take care of her? Also my Fiance has 3 plus years of experience of sales working in Furniture and Hotel club promotions. She is still currently working in Furniture sales.

Print out or copy photos - not in excess just enough to show you've been together. We put about 25 photos on 7 pages with a description of each. Also include chat/skype records and you can also add letters from friends "approving" or congratulating you on the relationship. No DVDs - all paper at this point. Not sure on the K-1, but for CR-1 "mingling of finances" is suggested. I added my husband to my Geico and credit card accounts - it worked fine.

Thanks for the reply! Would sending copies of the International Phone Cards help also and what are my possiblities of getting a Fee Waive. Because I was married before and have one daughter, but the mother is primary custodian and I'm sending the child support. Plus paying off past and present IRS taxes, Rent, Utilities and other prior collection makes it difficult to save for the Fee. Slowly getting everything paid off but not enough extra for the Fee.

Hi,

They really want to see evidence of a current relationship. This includes documentation that you met during the last two years. Baggies are a good way to keep your documents together. My photos were all digital, so I just grouped the photos by date, and printed them with a color laser printer. Copies of plane tickets are not really necessary. Your passport will show stamps entering and leaving your fiancees country. This demonstrates when you were there, and the photos show that you were together. I would list on the back of each photo, the date, and place where the photo was taken, as well as who is in the photo. For my photos, I printed this information on the same page as the photos. This method was OK.

I believe that my I-129F had about 7 or 8 photos. But, I also included copies of hotel bills (with both of our names).

Good luck!

I have photos of me and my fiance together in the Philippines, but I have another question. We spend all are time on yahoo chatting, talking using the webphone and webcam. I have over 3,300 pictures taken of her during this time. No extra budget for talking using the land-line. Plus I have over 100 international phone cards from Sprint to other types of Asian cards. So, my question is:

1) Can I use the webcam pictures for are continued relationship?
2) If so, would a dvd of the pictures be accepted or do I have to print them out?
3) I have no phone records, so will the internalional phone cards ve accepted?

I have plenty of email and she doesn't make enough to have a land-line also, but she had a cell phone, but it's not a subscription service, because she always have to pay for load time. Just like a prepaid cell phone we have here in US. We always send each other text messages every week, but the text messages of sent and recieved through my Yahoo Messenger.

4) Would our text messages be accepted for continued relationship?

Also I have been sending her money for since 2005 to help with her living, food and family. I have all the Western Union documents for this and it's over $3000.00.
5) Would the WU help improve the Visa success?

Currently laid of the Post Office as a City Carrier since July of 2009 and on Unemployment, but starting my own Ministry as a Pastor. Been called to preach the gospel since the layoff. In the process of getting all the business documents to establish my Ministries name. Have no plans to going back to work, but I'm starting out small and wont be making much of a salary until there's a large attendance.

6) Will this cause my processing to fail? and,
7) Could I quailify for a Processing Fee Waiver?

We both really are in Love and want to get married and my two years since I visited her is coming up on July 30, the day I arrived in the Philippines.

Thanks for you help and suggestions!...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRegarding Communication Emails For......

That is good and helps alot! Thanks for your replies!

Also while I have your attention I have another question about my G-325A. I'm currently self-employed and on unemployemnt since being laid off from the US Postal Service. I'm a game software developer, but have not completed and published my first game yet. December of 2010 my target date.

So it looks like I'm going to have to find a job or jobs to at lease past the income requirements. So for completing the application "Employment last five years" in the Present row, do I put my business name, self-employed or unemployed? My business address is the same as my home address.

Any Suggestings?

I'm putting the final touches to my I-129F and followed the K1 Guide Line here. My question is about the I-129F Cover Leader "Proof of on going relationship". My Fiance and I been communicating since 2005 and I have over 200+ emails. Do I need to send all of them to USCIS or what do you recommend how much to send to establish our communication?

And, do I need to send my yahoo account information so they can login and check the emails. I'm printing them from the account itself which shows all the email information.

I tried searching for this question but was not able to get a clear answer. I just sent my I-129F today USPS Express requiring a signature and they should get it tomorrow morning.

I included my email address the application, so my question is, will I get a notification via email during the rest of the processing or do I have to sign up for "Case Updates" at USCIS or do I wait for the case number or what?

Yea, this doesn't make any sense that you have to what a month. I was told the same thing from the Sacramento Courts, but that's only if you ordered it. BUT, the other option I was given is to have the papers sent back to the courts (takes about seven business day) and you have them make copies of it. Pay .50 a copy for the "Notice of Entry of Judgement".

I was asked if I wanted to pay for the "Certificate" but, I said if they need it I will come back. I sent both my "Stipulated Judgment" and "Notice of Entry of Judgement". I already recieved my NOA1 and no additional information is need as of the this notice.

On the G-325A, what is the Alien Registration Number? And under what circumstances would you have one and need to list it?

Also, how important is it to have your work history on the form if you are the beneficiary (ie not the financially responsible party), of course I know the sponsor needs to have a work history!

If your Fiance has NOT been to your country then you don't have a one. You have to fill this out anyway. It's required for both applicants!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFiance Needs to Move?

I just had to change the address of my fiancee after NOA1 (and before NOA2). Before I did, I called the USCIS help customer service line twice:

1. My first call was before the move. The agent told me to just call back, give the address, and they would send the update to CSC. (The agent during the second call told me they do not do this.)

2. During my second call (when I thought I would be providing the new address), the agent gave me different information. I told the agent about my first call, and he confirmed the approach with his supervisor.

Based on the second call, I actually did the following: The agent told me to write a letter to CSC at the address listed on my NOA1 (US Citizenship and Immigration Services, California Service Center, PO Box 30111, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0111). The letter should clearly indicate the new address for your fiancee (the beneficiary). I also stated in the letter the date of the move.

I asked the same question to both agents about potential delay. I was told the update would not cause any delay.

In another thread, I read that, when a fiancee changes her address, we should later double check with NVC (when your application/file is there) to make sure that the address change actually occurred.

Good luck!

Thanks for letting me know about this! I shall double check to make sure it has been updated. Thanks for your help!

Could you get a job that was just any job, that met the income requirements (just for the paperwork).

Oh yes, I'm looking for something. But, I live in a fairly small City with about 280,000 people and the surrounding cites are smaller. Just part-time low wage positions. I would have to get two or three part-time jobs just to get the min UI salary if the other jobs allowed it. The largest city closes to me is the City of Sacramento. About 45 miles north to the county line and I don't have transportation at the moment.
