This is my first posting!!! I'm new here, but I have been reading this topic for monthsssssss...... This topic made me feel I'm not alone, so I decided to post a little messsage....

As of today, March 25, 2009... I have been on AP for 47 days.... sad! very sad! I miss my wife....

Also, I'm worried! We got married in the Philippines last July 8, 2008.... and the very next day I flew to San Francisco.... (but i spent almost 4 years with my wife in the Philippines before we got married). Now, reading some of the k3 case, I found out that they had to get a Legal Capacity Certificate in the Embassy... which I was not asked to get this when we applied for our marriage lic... I guess they didn't want to give me a hard time because they know my flight to San Francisco is the following day... Would this be a problem??? The marriage is legit, and it was already filed under NSO in the Philippines... I'm just worried because I didn't have to get the Legal Capacity Cert.

If someone can help me answer this question....

Thanks guys!!!! I'm on my 47th day today... I'm hoping that I get out of AP soon.... same to the others who got stuck in NVC

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionPossible Medical Exam at SLMC without NOA2 yet?
Just to confirm... NVC just sent the case to USEM Manila March 30.... So meaning it's on it's way... USEM will not receive it till the 2nd week of April, due to the holiday.... (Mahal na Araw)... Or probably receive it before the 2nd week, but it might not be in the system yet... Can she go for her medical, even the case is still not in USEM's system yet. ... (take note we have the noa2 and mnl#) ... nasa byahe pa lang ang documents thru DHL,,, kaka padala pa lang ng NVC e.. ... tagalugin ko na po nahihirapan kasi ako... kahit nasa byahe pa lang ang documents papuntang USEM.. pwede na ba sya punta Saint Lukes para mag pa medical kahit nasa byahe pa lang ang documents... on the way pa lang sa USEM e.... for sure wala pa sa system ng USEM... so pano pag pinadala ng Saint Lukes ang results tas wala pa sa system yong case number namin...... ang hirap express ng gusto ko itanong... sana naintindihan nyo po ako????

I have almost the same question, but different senario... We have our NOA2, and as of today, March 30 NVC forwarded the case to USEM. My question is... Can we have the medical done with the MNL#### and the NOA2 in hand... or do we have to wait for USEM to send instructions to my wife..... before she goes for her Medical....????

PhilippinesMAY interviewees VISAS
Hello...

I have been reading not posting, sobra ng nag sisikip ang dibdib ko at gusto ko lang ng outlet. My wife had her interview at USEM nong May 14, 2009.. since kababalik ko lang ng U.S. bago pa lang ulit ako sa work ko... So the consul said "at the meantime, i cannot give you a visa" ., the consul asked my wife to submit additional documents......(pay stub ko)... which we did on May 27... they took my wife's passport.... sabi ng pilipino review pa daw ng consul ulit yong mga documents... pag okay they will mail na lang daw the passport with the visa.. at COD na lang daw yon... pero hindi pa din daw sure.. possible din na mail nila passport with out the visa... sobrang hirap na hindi mo alam inaasahan mo....

i called USEM sabi nila 6 weeks daw ang average wait time... it could be longer din daw... usually po ba 6 weeks lang talaga... yong possibility ba na mag over ng 6 weeks ay mas malaki???...

july 8 ang ika 6 weeks namin since we submitted the additional documents, which are my pay stubs...

kwento naman po sa mga pareho ng situation sa akin..... please po...

thanks....
