Passport 2. 1 copy of the Biographic Page of my passport 3. 3 pieces 2x2 pictures with my name at the back 4. Appointment letter 5. NVC letter (my 2 other friends did not have this but they were asked to bring it when they come back) 6. SLEC pre-registration form Some people go there as early as 2am but IMO 4am is fine.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129F Denied	No no. See here's the thing. one of the requirements of the visa is being "free to marry". In the Philippines you need to provide a CENOMAR which shows that they're single. Even if they divorced in another country, they wouldn't be divorced in the Philippines. Which means they're NOT "free to marry" by Philippine law. Which makes them ineligible for a visa. The same can be said of EVERY country, they have their own laws. You can think it's unfair but you're asking for permission to bring her here, that includes permission from her government. There is another country (Vietnam I think) that WILL NOT permit it's citizens to marry USC's who are older than a certain age, and who don't earn over a certain amount (a HIGH amount too). Other countries require their permission to leave the country, even just for visits. In regards to your particular RFE, by Philippine law she is NOT free to marry you (same as if she wasn't actually divorced in her country). That means she CANNOT leave the country to marry you without her first fulfilling the requirements for someone of her age for her country. My gf wants to fly to manila for medical then fly back then a week later fly again there to go for interview. Is this rational? I think it a waste of money and time. I also live far from Manila, so yes, I think it would be impractical to go back and forth for the medical and interview. You can do it all together in one trip. I called NVC exactly 7 days after we got approved (Oct 29)..I called around 1:40pm, I had 3 tries and waited for about 25 minutes until an agent answered my call. He asked for both our names, date of birth, NOA1 Receipt Number, and email address. He also told me that they received our papers the day before I called. Even though she does not have active TB, they discovered bacteria in her culture (probably contracted/inhaled it during OJT from nursing school). In any case, she has already started the 6-month meds treatment...every day at St. Lukes, Manila. So sad that we need to wait another 6 months to start our lives together but happy that she will be completely bacteria free! My question for the VJ family is: What do we need to do to extend the NOA 2 approval which expires next month, well before she completes the treatment? Does St. Lukes communicate to the Embassy, or is it up to us to apply for an extension. (DS-157 says fill in last two jobs prior to present job what should I do here if he's only had ONE job?) My fiance (in jamaica) has worked at one job with his uncle for 4/5 years (as a musician under the table so no pay check) So will that be a problem when they check the paper work? If they ask for form DS156, for example, they won't process you without this form, no matter how polite you are. If they're looking for 3 passport pictures, bring 3 correct passport pictures.
