Hey all,

I agree Dennis it has gotten very quiet....I guess there's no more ranting. I am very happy for all that has passed the interview and Congrats to those whose are approaching. Well we got the interview date for November 25 and like Third I am soo excited....I dont really have much to do but sit and wait because we have completed the docs needed, just medical and interview left. They sent me the RFE on the 28 or last month.

Sounds good, there's not really anything else you can send! Does your country have a certificate of singleship? Some countries do, some don't...that could be another thing you could send.

I am a US citizen...not by birth but Naturalized....where would I get this from here in the US?


If you are a US citizen you have nothing to worry about....just send them what they asked for. We don't have a certificate of singleship. Just send them copies of everything you have proving your A# and citizenship. If you've always lived in the same city, try calling the city hall and ask them if they can issue a document stating that you have never been married...but explain to them what you need it for. Someone might be willing to whip up a document for you to help you out. star_smile.gif

Morning everyone! Well TomandHongyan, I am really interested to hear about your experience when you call them. I called them yesterday and was basically told to wait another 40 days (but I am only 2 weeks shy of 5 months). Good luck and I hope we all get some positive news soon!

Good morning to all, I just got off of the phone with uscis, here is how it went, I gave all information he ask for, then he started read everything I already knew, so I listen for a while and said, thank you but you have told me nothing that I can't read my self, I told him I knew he couldn't give me any information so please transfer me tp a supervisor or a agent above him, he then told me that they couldn't tell me any more then what he told me, and that the 5 months is only a estimate and I would have to wait 30 more days untiull my case is 6 month in waiting, then they could look into it. I told this guy, not true, I would like to hear that from someone above you or a supervisor, he again told me they would tell me the very same thing. I told this guy(very nice) thank you but I still would like to hear it from someone above him, he said ok, and ask me if he could do anything else for me before he transfer my call, I said no and thank you. Another guy got on the phone ask me my full name, receipt #, address, birthday, then he said could I wait, I said yes, 1 minute later he came back and said, you change your address, I said yes, and your office send me a letter stating that I did, he said good, yes I see that we did, he said my case was going to be worked on and I will hear something within 2 week and maybe sooner. I ask him if my case was being worked on now, he said no, but soon I will hear something. I thank the man and told him he was very kind for giving me the information he gave, he then told me to call him anytime if I have any concerns about my case, His name was Rodrigus.
I think things went very well, at lease this guy knew something more then the other guy. To get to the other level you must keep insisting on talking to someone higher then them, even if it is to hear the same thing. Well I hope this helps, good luck to all of us, maybe the fire is set, and Aprils are going to fly out of USCIS today.

Hey Tom....well I had a similar situation as you yesterday. I called and was speaking with this woman. I answered wateva she asked me and then she was tellin me info that I already know....sounds like I knew more than her.....she was like I have to wait 30 more days....I was like no I want to send out a service request....she kept saying mam thats not necessary....blah blah blah...I got so upset with her I told her she is no help to she was telling me everything that I can see on my computer. Like you tom I requested to speak with an immigration officer....she was like thats not necessary they are gonna tell you the same thing....I was like did you not hear me I would like to speak with an immigration officer again she was not listening I was like what is you ID number again.....then I was i understand will you please connect me to an officer....she finally did. The officers name was Brenda, she was very pleasant. She also told me to hold on then she said my case is being reviewed and I should hear something soon but to call back within 2 weeks if I dont hear anything. My finacee says "why don't you call them." I would have called often if only they are willing to give more information than what I already on my damn screen. Their Customer Service sucks!!

okay so Im late with posting....I recieved my NOA1 hardcopy on April 6.....been waiting ever since. No touch no nothing just waiting crying.gif !!!

The thing is they returned the original documents before the interview. I am not sure if it's a standard procedure or if it means they had already decided on issuing the visa. Anyway, I would like to thank everyone here at VJ for their support and valuable information. I wish everyone good luck on their journey's.
