Hi Matty,

You need a copy of your Vaccination records, this can be typed up by your local GP signed and stamped, I requested mine today and my Nurse said he would make a photocopy of my actual paper vaccination records. If Knightsbridge have any problems with your stamped and signed letter they can always ring up the surgery to find out for sure.

Everyone should have a paper record as well as a digital record so it shouldnt be to hard.

Thanks for your help. ill call them tommorow. There not the most helpful surgery so it'll probably be a complete kerffuffle;) but hey ho the finishing line is in sight. good luck with the rest of your journey.

United Kingdomvaccination records London medical
Hi

Should be having my medical fairly soon as my case has arrived at my consulate(London) I'm just curious as to what proof I need for my vaccinations. I have this travellers card with all my vaccinations on but it looks a bit lame, it has the surgery stamp on it and my name written in pen but im not sure that will be good enough. Will a letter from the doctor just saying which ones ive had be enough?? Id be greatful if anyone whos had a medical in London could shed some light.

Thanks in advance:)

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionMedical??
Just trying to plan in advance now ive been approved but im concerned with the medical. Do I need to get anything reports from my family doctor prior to the medical??? And if so any idea how many years the records need to go back, its only because i suffered with depression 10 years ago and worried it will come to light.

Thanks in advance

Maybe varicella unless you had the disease chicken pox. My fiance got his jabs at NHS (at no charge) and took a signed list to the medical. He told the nurse his mum said he had chickenpox a certain date, so the NHS nurse took mum's word for it and wrote it down in the list she was preparing.

It says (not available in uk) under the varicella vaccination which is why i didnt think it was needed. I already have my letter typed with all the jabs ive had so i guess ill just have to wing it or have it done there.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsg325a mistakes people got away with???
Hi guys

like a few people on here i noticed ive made a minor miatake with the g325a from after id sent it.. I have employment that overlaps but that was because I had 2 jobs. Also my fiance had a 2 month gap and didnt put 'no emplyment' for those dates. Is there anyone out there who did similar but still managed to avoid a dreaded RFE???? and even if you did how long did it delay your case?????

your replys would be most welcome:)

Hi Guys, May filer here:) filed on the 8th recieved NOA1 on the 18th so not bad. step one completed. Have since noticed on my forms that ive overlapped my employment and written NA instead of NONE which i thinks going to result in a RFE but hoping its not too major and wont hold it up too much. Good luck to all:)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProof of engagement???
QUOTE (motu @ May 14 2008, 11:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
No rings here - hadn't bought one. No pictures either - I had submitted 2 pictures of us together with the I129f, that was all.
It's not a visa where you have to prove 'engagement' - that's an overkill in my opinion. (Some people were rejected because the engagement party pictures looked like wedding pictures and that can be a disaster.) You have to prove that you have met and have an on-going relationship. Since we applied for the visa a month or two after meeting in person, I didn't feel any additional proof was needed; she took along a few emails and chat records - they looked at one email for 3 seconds. Good Luck

Thanks everyone, sounds like i was worrying for nothing, but this whole visa malarky seems to be having that effect;) good luck to everyone and i wish you all the best.

Hi guys, hope you well and your managing to keep sane whilst waiting for your visas to be approved:)

I have recently filed my I-129 on the 7th of may and im just looking at the forms needed for the interview and im worried by the checklist that requires proof of engagement. The ring I used wasnt bought but hand crafted at a mrket stall by a freind so dont have a reciept. We didnt have any pics taken or anything like that so basically we have nothing. We have pictures of us together and boarding passes etc. What kind of things have you guys used? Is there a way of explaining this at the interview or am I worrying for nothing??? Thanks in advance.

Most couples simply write a Fiancé Letter of Intent (see Example Here) good.gif

Oh we've both done that:) I just thought we'd need to sohw a ring receipt and pictures of family memebers embarrasing themselves dancing at our engagement party:) I really should stop worrying. Thanks for your reply:)
