ATTENTION: To all you I-D-I-O-T-S who gave "billsgirl" ####### in this post and suggested that they were doing this for fame and to be "so careful" because this was going to affect your little petition and gave them sh!t because they filed in April....you deserve to have your application thrown the the bottom of the pile......people like you make me incredibly disgusted on this site....you guys know who you are....... Well i think if USCIS sees an article with example of couples they'll be curious to know who are they, and it's easy, i'm sure they have all on a computer system they can just check: beneficiary: bill, petitioner: debby from montreal canada. My fiancee has just finished University and is merely waiting for our visa application to be finished to move here. However, the time between then and now is likely atleast 5 more months, if not more. This weekend she moves to London to live with her sister(on that note, if anyone could tell me what I need to do to notify the USCIS about her change of address, that'd be appreciated). There's no way she can afford to live in London without SOME kind of income. She has every intention of looking for a job, but if she can't find one by August she's going to have to figure something out. If she goes on unemployment, but continues to actively seek a job, will it hurt our petition? I'm sorry, you have no timeline. Did you start your K1 process already? If not she can put unemployed and if she gets a job she can change the information with the embassy later. It's not a problem. She can tell them she wasn't looking for a job because she was planning on staying in London, but because she had to pay her bills and plus the K1 process is also very expensive. Please remember when they give you the time frame of 80 - 110 days on the notice of action they are not referring to actual days but business days I wasn't aware of that. Before I made this decision, I had planned on him living in my apartment. But now, the plan is for me to find us a new apartment right before he enters the country on his K1. So what address should I put as the intended address for my alien fiance? I don't know what our future apartment's address will be, should I just put my parent's address? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Are service centers helpful?	Can you call service centers and ask them questions even before you file? Are they helpful in that sense? I know people spend a long time trying to get through and thought that may be the reason no one calls. On a side note, My fiancee came into the United States a couple days ago and when the Immigration officer asked her the purpose of her trip, she was totally honest and said she was here to visit her fiance. She had her ring on and everything. Even though many think its a bad idea to mention a fiance when visiting on a tourist visa, she had no problems, just some questions about how long she would be here, etc. She told him that she would be leaving to go back to school in 6 weeks. The problem would be if he tried to visit you in the states, that's more difficult. For you to visit him just say the truth, you're going to visit your fiance and if they ask show them proofs you intend to come back to the US.
