So I'm reading that I need my Vaccination Records for my medical. Is that what we in Germany call an "Impfpass", here's what that looks like Posted Image



yes, thats exactly what it is, during your medical the doc will check if you have all the appropriate vacccinations

if you are missing some i would suggest you get them done nefore hand with your "hausarzt" as during the medical they will charge per vaccination and its not cheap. also keep in mind though that not everyone needs all vaccinations depending on age.

I am a german citizen filing for CR /1 , yesterday I got my 3rd RFE from the NVC. I need to supply a french police certificate since I have been and still am studying in Paris. Filled out the necessary information yesterday and its on its way.

My question, do I also need to have it translated into german or english. My interview will be in Frankfurt, Germany and obviously all my other civil documents that I already sent are in german.

I received my interview date 3 weeks ago adn it was scheduled for june 10th, hoever i already bought a plane ticket for june 7th :whistle:

so I sent them an email asking to reschedule my interview to may and to my surprise they actually did. now I have my interview may 18th, which is next wednesday

I visited the US several times even before 2009 and under type of visa I put "VWP", I did not provide and "A - #" even though I had one", had my interview yesterday in frankfurt and was approved so it must have been right :D

my appointment was scheduled for june 10th at the embassy in frankfurt, germany. however i had already booked a flight to the states for june 7th. i emailed the embassy asking to reschedule my interview to an earlier date in may without giving them a reason why i would want to do so ... and they did, i had my interview may 18th

so bottom line, email teh embassy and ask if teh yare able to reschedule thats how i did it

Hello dear VJ members,

I am a little confused as to what to do now after receiving my 5th RFE from the NVC

on March 23rd I received this Checklist:

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) or supporting documents.
However, we are still waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Immigrant Visa Application
(DS-230) or civil document.

So far so good , sent in the DS-230 with all required documents

on April 9th I received this Checklist:

The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still
waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864). Please return
the requested information so that we may complete the processing of your case.

Does that only look confusing and contradicting to me or did they mess it up and might have lost my paperwork or sent this checklist in error. Any thoughts or advice welcome :D

@ patoch interview questions were not tough at all

When did you meet?
Does your wife have siblings?
Have you met the parents?
Where did you get married and who was invited?
What field do I want to work in once I arrive in the U.S.

Thats it, though our case was pretty straight forward, we met in january 2006, got married sep 2010 and we kept all boarding passes and letters and pictures of course. So no problems

@ suse 2010 the NVC stage took me about 3 months due to missing or incimplete I864 papers, my interview was intially scheduled for june 10th, however i asked for it tot be rescheduled to may and no problems at all.

you do not hae to get married outside the US, as I have married my wife under the VWP and we are now at the final processing stage before we will be assigned an interview date at the embassy in Frankfurt

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDate issue
One of the K-1 documents has an incorrectly formatted signature date on it: 05/10/25, instead of 05/25/10 (May 25th 2010). The other documents filed contain dates from May 25th and May 28th, respectively.
The question is whether the wrong date could become a problem and it would be better to rewrite and -send the form to my fiancee, or whether it is find to send it as is.

Hello,

my fiancee submitted the I129 petition for my fiance visa in mid June and it's currently in the initial review phase. I'm considering a change of job, but I'm uncertain if that might lead to complications that delay the whole visa process. I also wonder whether I should immediately submit the data for the new job to the U.S. office in charge as soon as I start working elsewhere or whether that would be unnecessarily confusing for them in this stage and rather brought up when my interview takes place.

If anyone has experiences or thoughts to share regarding this, my thanks!
