In our place here, dont have much seafoods/seaweeds.I bought fish from Philippines like milk fish but is not fresh anymore it is frozen, shrimp fry etc... To those who wants to buy Malunggay (horse radish ) you can buy that in asian/oriental store, i bought malunggay every week for my tinulang manok and ( utan in bisaya). but it is frozen inside the plastic, try to see in the frozen products. and also the tangad or tanglad in bisaya one of the spices in tinulang manok. Most of my ingredients are from Philippines, like patis/soy sauce, vinegar,banana catsup etc....I eat only noodles here from Philippines. a US citizen dont have certificate of no marriage, my fiance is a us citizen, he is single and never been married, i had asked that question before, in our lawyer who processed our papers k1 visa bec. im was worried of how to proved that he is a single during my interview. ( during my interview the pre screener and the consular officer asked only if he is single or married , with or without childrens. )

We have almost same date when we filed our K1 last year 2007, Last week of July and we got noticed of action 1 in the first week of August. I got my NOA2 December 2, 2007 and my interview February 7, 2008. Don't worry about it. it takes about 5 to 6 months the usual processing time. but others also they are approved in less than 3 months and got the schedule of interview.

if your fiancee from philippines, if she is an illegitimate child, she cant have a middle name only her family name from her mother. but now they implement a new law even a child is illegitimate or not her parents married legally, she or he can have use his father's family name if the father will sign at the back of her/his birth certificate.
if your fiancee her parents married legally but on her birth certificate without a middle maybe you can ask a lawyer about it or go to the place where she is born or registered in their local civil registry. there are process or steps to be done to add her middle name. like what i have done correction of entry in my birth certificate.

Be sure to have the 3 DS forms fill up before you enter the embassy and attach your id pics that is described in packet 4, one DS forms is down loaded in the internet with bar code. about the receipts i remember my pre screener asked me if my fiance sent money i said yes, then he asked the receipts ( e.g. the xoom, moneygram and western union).
if your fiance is divorce be sure to know the cause of his divorce or reason and bring the divorce papers.

I would really appreciate if they did mark what docs they need to review or what docs i need to present again... but there's none.. wow... I wonder what made him put me on an AP/AR. . . I read some of your opinions here... l hope it's not true.. like CO's put you on AR already before you enter the room. Well, I guess, it's quite possible.. because the way he swayed the conversation led to that really.. no matter how strong my argument was... still he was putting more bluffs there then posing a poker face.

I just hope mine wont take that long. My fiance and I was actually planning to get married at least Feb. It's our bday on Feb. Me on the 22nd and him on the 23rd. And if the AR will take that long.. geez Im thinking now if we can still be together and get married by 2010? sigh

I am so sorry to hear about the interview experience you had today.......I know it's really frustrating especially when answers are unknown...on the slip that they gave you is there any mark as to which is under review????.....

I had my interview today as well but got under AP/AR as expected because I still have a missing document which is my Japan police cert.....Our petition was denied with USCIS but we stood up and appealed...So hang in there....and the Lord will guide us.....


Actually none. They didnt mark any docs to be under reviewed. So im so clueless...

you are not denied unless they return your passport just give them couple of weeks some under Administrative Review got their passport after 2 to 4 weeks

You're fine as long as they did not return your passport... You're case will just be reviewed...Sometimes they do that if they see something wrong even a very little thing... Hang in there, one of these days your visa will be in your hands already...Hoping it will be too soon...

Thanks.. yeah i heard if you're denied.. they will return the passport. But im way too scared. First, I dont want another interview if ever. I hope if there's some docs to pass i hope i'll just pass it. I had a trauma i guess. I just want to disappear.. All i want is to be with my fiance. And our relationship is genuine. I don't know why that guy insisted on things that weren't true.

Some people in the waiting area told me... " you shouldn't answer him. Instead, you should've shut up and just nod." but i told them, why should i? I know what i was saying was true. It was him who was bluffing about the site. and putting words in my mouth and jumping to wrong conclusions without even giving me the chance to say more about it.

I just had my interview this morning for K1 visa. My most awaited one. I had mine at 8:00 Am at window 29. The guy was a good looking one, but behind that gorgeous face was a horrible character. I know that their job is to scrutinize people, but wasn't expecting him to call me a liar where in fact I said all truth and nothing but the truth. I just don't understand what went wrong. Docs were all good and complete.. Questions were answered honestly. What more should I say? And when my name was called at the counter 37, the pinoy guy told me my case is for further review. They didnt say if i am denied or approve. Im so nervous that I wanna die now. Like my whole world and dream to be with my fiance all vanished. But my loved ones said, you said all truth and we don't know yet what will be their decision about it. But I don't want to hold on anymore. My dreams were all shattered and felt so humiliated.
I just want to know if this case really happens? I am now praying hard..really hard.. that somehow God will listen to me and hoping it'll be approved. Or will I ever have another interview? I don't like another humiliation from a consul.

This entire AR thing is one of my worst nightmare! And no matter how hard I try to eat and sleep , I couldn't. It's turning me to a sad one and always injects negative thoughts since day one of this thing. I just wish it won't ruin what my fiance and I built. And waiting sucks too! I just wish they did tell me why my case put on an AR.

Air 21 tracking number issued but no explanation of AR. So my question is could this be only document varification or did she fail, I would assume if she failed the interview she would be told after the interview....Please inlighten me



me too. yesterday.. they gave me this white paper.. they check the wait for blah blah.. but they didnt check what document is needed. no check marks on those.. and the consul didnt tell me if i pass or failed the interview.. so im also clueless now.. and feels like my dream are all ruined. same question that i have now joe.
