US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionPOINT OF ENTRY!!!!! pls HELP
All paper work from the start we process the immigration was address to my inlaws in Florida...My husband is working in Virginia...and they just sent to him all documents/letter from NVC if theres any.
Does it mean that my POE is also in Florida and i am not good to go directly to my husband..we discussed about this and he said that better for me to go Florida so that the NVC would not asked anything...Does it really cause a problem?

The given address from NVC will be really my POINT OF ENTRY?

PhilippinesSputum Test in St. lukes Walkthrough

Good day to all!

i just want to share my experience at st lukes...our NVC case is not yet complete..and at the moment the IV and AOS packet will be send hopefully next week..
I decided to get my medical exam early....(i made a right decision..my X-ray resuts did not turned out well)
not a lucky day for me....sputum test is recommended

i had an sputum test dated Dec 13,14 and 15....

Pulmo evaluation dated: DECEMBER 17 sputum NEGATIVE..."thank God"

then have to wait for culture results on FEB 09 ..

The Doctor said about my lower right lungs, it shows some white lines and suspected for pneumonia.
this is her instruction: an antibiotic for 7 days (clarithromycin and wow thats is so expensive)
and repeat xray on FEB 24 @ 8 am...i am so worried about her instruction...i am very glad that i read all medical journey here....
i already read case like mine at crismae's post...thats so helpful."THANKS SIS"
i just hope that the antibiotic works tru my system...so that for my repeat x-ray would be fine...

THE COUNT DOWN BEGIN....I WILL JUST GIVE AN UPDATE ABOUT MY JOURNEY.....

I had a long journey of this Medical.
Feb 07 - I went there becoz they said there is already results for my culture. But none yet.
Feb 09 - i was present again at St lukes---- CULTURE NEGATIVE. i WAS SCARED FOR THE XRAY COZ THEY SAID IF IT IS GET WORST I WILL REPEAT THE WHOLE PROCEDURE...like getting sputum test again and it will take time again....huhuhuhu...well i hope not that worst..Pls Lord!!

The 24th of February came with so much nervous all over my body. Repeat xray was finished in the morning and i was told to make a call at 4:30 in the afternoon for the results. When i called them i was instructed to come back the next day Feb 25...for the evaluation...my goshhh..this is killing me softly....i dont even know what to think...am i passed or what! But all of my friends here said...everything will be fine...you'll gonna be passed...i wish that easy to convince your self if you're the one on that situation. But i am very thankful with them for always there with me for giving me strength.

Feb 25 7:30- i was really nervous what will doctor will gonna tel me. Wow! I am FINE! They said i can proceed to my immunization today. I was so so so happy and relieved. They called my name for U.S counter for Physical Test again. Then re-peat urine test before getting the vaccine...and finally at 2pm my name called at releasing counter. Now i am sure that i am good to go for my interview. they get my passport and appointment letter to be forwarded to US Embassy Manila. I am so happy and a big smile on my face while i am walking on my way out..and i told to my self "this will be my last day and i have no business with St Lukes any more"

I know this is not easy....I know how it feels....I just want to tell you all guys... always be strong and keep praying.
He has plans for all of us.
Good luck....dont be afraid for anything. God will be there for us always. and he really knows what is best for all of us.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresinterview requirements.....

Hi Everyone...!

So my interview is on march 1, 2011 in MANILA embassy and Im going through the letter sent to me by the NVC. I was a little bit confused on the list of requirements it says "correspondence instructions - C", It's says that C means "direct inquiries to consulate/embassy".. what does it mean? I dont even know what correspondence instructions are? Does it mean the letter that they sent to me? or do i need to call manila embassy to inquire about that correspondence instruction?

And another question is---- do i need to bring a passport photo of my husband (petitioner)?

in advance, thanks for the help and advices!!

I have the same question as yours and in addition to that..should i also need to bring the AOS which already sent to NVC...my husband didnt keep a copy when he send those to NVC (which just December)..he would get another AOS just for me to bring on the day of my interview...and ALL the figures would probably change..do we really need the AOS on the interview date?

CAN ANYONE ANSWER ARE QUIRY.. HOPE TO HEAR FROM THOSE ALREADY DONE WITH THEIR INTERVIEW.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

May husband is an active duty...he address all the papers and arrived all docs at his parents house....and we just receive a call from them that particular documents arrived...and they are the one who will sent to my husbands place.
just give them an authority to open ur mail..so that u would know if its really important that u might need to response immediately. You can also log in..so that u can also receive via email and test messages ..Good luck...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPetitioner = US Navy

Yeah.. she'll most likely do it twice because she said that when she went to SLMC, she brought a paper from the US Navy not for the USCIS. Besides, she haven't filled out anything. I guess you're right.. Her fiancee followed everything in the book. The guy is in Japan now. That is where he is stationed.

for sure she will get her medical twice..since her papers is only at the CIIS process...the medical is good only 6 months...the process of the papers is beyond that. (unless for some expedite)
the next request would be coming from NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) and if shes lucky to get an approval earlier from NVC process..
she can use that results submitted to Manila Embassy..and she save time and money.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPetitioner = US Navy

Weird, but it could happen. My only worry for her would be that at the rate things are going, by the time she gets her approval, hopefully her medical is still valid by then or else i would hate for her to have to do it again as it is so costly. lets hope the process is quick for her, and best of luck! by the way my fiance is in the army and i am from the philippines, and i was not asked for a medical beforehand. but each branch has their own rules so maybe that's a navy thing :)

Yeah I agree with you..like what happened to me...I had my medical exam for the NAVY command(jan2010)..and when i need to get my Medical for my Petitions...my medial results WAS EXPIRED.grrrrrr...and the sad thing about this ...when i had the next medical test( Dec2010) i got a problem with my chest x-ray....so another..grrrrrrrr...well things will work out fine...just go with the flow..and good luck.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPetitioner = US Navy
This is required.I had my First Medical Exam last January 2010.
I been through this Instructions which they called "COMNAVMARIANAS JURISDICTION"
MARRIAGE OF ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL TO A FOREIGN NATIONALS
BEFORE GETTING MARRIED THEY REQUIRE THE MEDICAL EXAM FROM ST LUKES... OR IF THE US NAVY MARRIED ALREADY THIS WILL BE DONE BEFORE THEY WOULD ACCEPT THE MARRIAGE AND BECAME LEGITIMATE WIFE/HUSBAND OF THE SAILOR.
THE COMMAND WILL GIVE THE REQUEST FOR "MARITAL EXAM" AND U CAN BRING THIS TO ST LUKES AND THEY KNW WHAT TO DO...
GOOD LUCK..IF U STILL HAVE ANY QUESTION ABOUT THIS...FEEL FREE TO ASK I AM WILLING TO HELP..
