I checked today and the USCIS website still says "Initial Review" I guess we will up in the next round in a couple of day seeing how people are now getting approved. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 May 2012 Filers	Wow, i's been a long time, I haven't heard anything and check the USCIS website and it says that is being reviewed. My wife and I went to Poland in September and we traveled to several countries, Crpatia. Montenegro, Serbia, Hungry, Albania and a couple of other countries and didn't get hassled once except when I came back through at Philadelphia. Shes still in Poland and coming back in two days with an expired GC I'm wondering if she will have problems. She has her extension letter but that doesn't mean she won't have trouble. I'm wondering when we will get her new GC? Yes, it'll be what it'll be. I had an update/touch on my file on Sept 26th...prior to that it was only at the submisison of the biometrics in June...so something happened. Best to chill and wait.... Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 May 2012 Filers	I didn't include any affadvits, I think that best evidence is what you'd have if the person was from the US already, you know bills with both your names and all that other paperwork that says that you are forging forward with a life together as a couple in love. I think if you don't have evidence like that then probably the affidavits give you another way of providing some proof. Just my 2 cents. I don't know that they are required. I didn't send any with our application. Just make sure you have lots of evidence to send it and you likely won't have to have signed statements from people. We included co-mingling of finances/joint bank accounts, utility bills in both names, vacations taken together and boarding passes, titles to real property, auto insurance showing both names, beneficiary of pensions and health insurance related things, pictures of us over several years and with family and others, etc. I think the affidavits are when other evidence may be thin.....others may have differing viewpoints ...? I bet that you get yours either today or tomorrow [:8) If you look at the CSC filers, it appears that NOA1 letters are't getting sent out as soon as VSC but someone stated on this forum that it apparently doesn't affect processing the actual ROC application. Just my 2 cents. All, ROC here Vermont Service Center OK. Package sent 5/8, and signed/received on 5/10. Today, 5/17, and I have not yet received my NOA1. Is it normal? Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 May 2012 Filers	Just looking at the timeline that was established for both CSC and VSC, no one who has sent in a ROC has received their first NOA while most of those filing at VSC have.....strange. I saw some post earlier in the day where someone filing at CSC stated that it took a long time to cash their check which could mean a long processing time. I sent my I-751 on Wednesday May 02,2012 by USPS priority mail and it was received on Friday May 04,2012. I am still waiting for NOA and check cashed as there is no progress as yet. Visa's through Warsaw often go through without much problems.  There must be something specifically that caused them to deny your visa.   Bernie   Hello, My husband and I are applying for his visa through the consulate in Warsaw. We have a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support. I have spent the last three years living in Poland and this seems to be our biggest barrier now as they want me to return to US before they will grant his visa.    I am submitted the following as proof of US domicile per Form I-864 Instructions: 1.     Letter from my bank showing an active US bank account 2.     Statements from E*Trade Securities LLC showing US stocks owned  3.     Statement from Capital One showing my US mailing address 4.     Statements from PayPal showing transfers made from PLN to USD (x3) 5.     A copy of my US voter registration card 6.     A copy of my Karta Pobytu decision showing my status as a temporary resident in Poland 7.     A letter from mom confirming that my husband I will live at her home upon our arrival in the US 8.     A letter from a company stating their intent to employ me upon my return to the US   ...and we were still denied.  Any other ideas? My wife had her Visa Interview this morning and was approved.  We were worried for the longest time, because though her mom is a U.S. Citizen and she has been traveling there regularly over the past 10+ years, she did run into some issues during her most recent visits.  She had worked illegally one summer for a few weeks while visiting, and a few years later had continued that job while visiting her mom for an extended time.  She also pushed the tourist visa stay to the max while visiting her mom twice in a row (which is when we met).     She was also worried about possible false statements to immigration officers at POEs - but couldn't remember what she said or what was said to her.  In the end, they had her voluntarily give up her passport on her last attempt to enter, after we had been dating for nearly 6 months.     So we had a few red flags - but we were as forthcoming with the immigration process as possible regarding her past transgressions, but in the end, none of them were viewed as material (I suppose as her working was not the primary reason for her being in the country, and they either had no record of what she said to the immigration officers when she thinks she may have possibly lied - who really knows.  I also feel my attending the interview probably went a long way.   Questions involved: Is that your fiance (which she corrected, that I was her husband - this calling me a fiance would go on, not sure if they were trying to trip her up Where did you get married? What do you do for work? What does your husband do for work? Where/When did you meet? What was the timeline of your meeting (asked how long after meeting online did we meet in person, then realized while we met online, we lived a few metro stops away from each other, and met nearly right away, then stopped this line of questioning) Asked about what her past work in the U.S. Asked if she paid taxes Asked where she worked while in the U.S. Asked if she knew she wasn't supposed to work in the U.S. Asked why she worked in the U.S. Asked if the business knew she was not allowed to work (Trying to see if she claimed to be a U.S citizen I assume, they never asked her to give any info on this besides her SSN, which she had had for years) What do you plan to do/where do you plan to live in the U.S.? Who's idea was it to go to U.S. Have you previously adjusted status? (She answered yes, though started talking about an I130 her mom had started on her and they seemed to get she wasn't sure what she was answering) What happened to the I130 (she wasn't sure) Will you be married within the 90 days? (Again, confirmed we were already married) Asked where we got married The Latvian Foreign Service National at the desk at the beginning also asked to see her old passports, when she was initially questioned regarding her earlier surrendered visa and possible overstaying (which she hadn't, and had no dates marked in her passport indicating when she had to leave the U.S. upon previous entries.  They didn't ask to see any additional information that we had brought other than her old passport to verify dates.	cappucino boy	Male	Poland	2014-09-08 10:25:00

You should be fine with what you have. Alex had a lot of trouble getting the letter from Chase, it took them nearly three weeks to do a letter that only said he was their customer and how much he currently had deposited. Hi Alex and Astrid, Yes I've filled out a time line and looked at the projected date but I am being overly optimistic to see if they approve it (NOA2) earlier. It's really kind of my fault as I didn't finish the paperwork when she first arrived in the U.S. (June) so I'd probably know by then. The thing I didn't want to happen though is finish everything and get an interview date before she returns to Poland (Dec). I just hope that everything works out and there isn't too much separation time before she is able to come back. She was detained in Atlanta when she came and her tourist visa issued by the Warsaw Consulet expired in August. I'm wondering if we should get another visa just to play it save? The flights aren't cheap and we aren't rich so we need to make the most of the flights back and forth to Poland. I'm hoping that when we receive it and send everything back, that by the time she returns to Poland in December that it will almost be time for her interview. And then come visit and spend Christmas with her family and then return with her visa to US together. I saw someone on this forum with a NOA1- NOA2 date total of 54 days form VSC. Bernie Have you filled in your timeline on this site? It can give you a projected approval window. For example, my NOA1 date is August 5, three and a bit weeks before yours. My approval window is between October 30 and November 10, a few weeks away. So, your window is most likely going to be toward the end of November and the start of December. The reason VSC is getting such fast approvals is their adjudicators almost all got switched over the K1 petitions to get rid of the backlog. No such luck at CSC, though. If I had to wait this long I would just plan moving to some other English-speaking country with my man... And honestly if he could come to Poland I wouldn't think for a second, just get him here ASAP. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Going on a cruise ship with i-130 pending?	Martyna,   That time line for doing everything seems risky at best when dealing with USCIS. You should definitely consider your options and I don't think it will be easy to get a tourist visa.  I don't understand why Polish tourist visas are so hard to get. I have a friend who applied for her daughter several times only to get denied again and again.  I think that if you don't disembark the ship in the US you could probably travel with your fiance and not have any problems.  Just my 2 cents.   bernie     My husband (US) and I(Poland) met while working on a cruise ship.  We got married (outside US)and filed i-130 for CR-1 visa may 2013. Plan was for me not to take another contract and sail with my husband as a wife on board (passenger status)so i will be available (not bound with contract) for an interview. It was not a problem in summer when ships are mostly in Europe, but now all of them have one or two American ports on the way. He moved his joining date to march 2014 witch is really pushing it with the company(itinerary still  including US Ports) in hope that we will be close to end of the process by March/April. Lately it seems that estimated processing times for i-130 filed by US citizens have doubled. We are afraid that he would have to go on ship without me. Is there any way i can join my husband on the ship that sails in US ports? Any kind of transit visa not conflicting with i-130 pending?If I join the ship outside US and not disembark in US ports does it change anything? We just want to be together. I have only C1/D1 visa, and i am afraid that applying for tourist visa now, if denied can harm CR-1 process. What are the chances of that happening? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Fiancee coming to US this week as Tourist... what to show at POE?	Hi Casey, My girlfriend had come to US before (I didn't know her then) and she filed for a time extension for pleasure and being a tourist, the extension it was denied so to make a long story short she had to leave right away because her original I-94 was past the due date. Fast forward to to the time we met and she told me horror stories about how the INS inspectors at the airports can make a tourist visit a nightmare and that she was worried when we decided for her to come to the US. I didn't believer her but sure enough she flew into Atanta on June 22, 2009 and ended up detained for basically no reason at all. The agent told her something about that they needed to inspect her luggage and didn't give her any other information. Her connecting flight time to L.A. was only about an hour. Well she missed it, they finally let her leave and the only reason I think that they didn't turn her away is because she got cute with a male agent, she pretty. It was a female agent that detained her and I don't think it was for any reason that they needed to do so. The only thing I can think of is that the denied extension request is stuck in her passport information. A friend later told me is that she should just get a new passport with a new number that is not connected to the old number with a new visa. I just filed the I-129 and was hoping that the time she is her coicides with the time her visa comes through but I think it will take more than the 180 days that she is allowed to stay on the tourist visa so we will be waiting until she get her visa before we can see each other again. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	info about family and trip	Hi everyone, after being approved on this wonderful day of january 21st.... i was wondering if there was any problem for me to bring my family for the wedding (only) and be sure they wont have any problem at the border... and what kind of flight should i take? because the one way from france is around $4000 and the 2 way ticket (with the way back that i wont use) is $500. so if i could save $3500 it would be awesome. so yea, thats all i need to know. thank you Bot' Bot, My Fiancee is coming today in fact and we bought a round trip ticket for $600 from Warsaw to LAX and if we would have bought the one way it would have twice what we'd bought for one way.
