Thank you Amy that is exactly what i'm looking for someone to share in this experience. I just want my husband home. I was unsure at first about posting on the forum. I love reading the happy ending stories and the process to get from start to finish..it gives me hope to see others that have succeeded.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresStarting I-30 process tomorrow
Hi all I'm new to this forum.I'm American and my husband is from Mauritania and currently in Mauritania waiting for our journey to begin of him getting here to his family. My husband Dah and I were married in Mauritania in June of this year during a family vacation to meet the family and for my children to finally meet their only living grandfather...its was a heartwarming vacation that we all needed. I had to come back to the states to file for him to come here. I have three children from my deceased husband. We are Muslim and carrying on tradition and culture I married within the same family. I'm so nervous going thru this journey of getting him here. I just want us to be a family as we were in Mauritania. I am aware that he will have his interview in Dakar, Senegal. I will not be able to be there due to finances and my oldest child is in school. So tomorrow I go to the lawyer to send in all of our I30 documents. I'm sorry to be rambling my introduction. But I have enjoyed reading all other posts on this forum. Although I will not be doing the process without the help of a lawyer its still nice to have a place where people understand how hard it is to have a spouse in a another country and understand that distance does not keep the love from growing stronger each second of each day.
