United Kingdom	London Medical - Knightsbridge Doctors	can anyone tell me definitively if simon will need his vaccination records at the medical?? he just got a bunch done as he had no records, but he needs a second round of MMR in a few weeks before his GP will release his records... seriously, they refuse to release his records. so if he has the medical before then, can he be approved pending those records? we can forward them along to knightbridge when we get them? i think i read somewhere that he's not required to even have the jabs done at all at London... help!	fulamuso	Not Telling	United Kingdom	2009-11-07 19:10:00

The UKC doesn't need to send a birth certificate when submitting the I-129 that is needed for the interview along with the name change document, if he is the USC you may want to ask this question in the general K1 forums. KirstenUk just had an issue with a document from a solicitor not being notarized holding up issuance of her daughter's visa so it is possible that this may be an issue. It won't hold up sending off your petition if he is the UKC though and you can then consider whether or not to get it notarized in advance or wait and see if they ask for it closer to the interview. You will notice the form asks for parents information "if known". Enter "unknown". We did this for my wife's father...no problem. It is necessary to enter something, do not leave this blank. It seems strange by US standards, but in many areas of the world, especially those devastated by WW2 (or other wars) and/or political upheaval such as the FSU, these records are simply gone, lost, unavailable and birth certificates in other countries do not always give details of the child's parents, other than names. The other was the winter/spring of 2007, for 4 months. She has also lived with her mother in Athens, Greece for three months two years ago. Will she need police certificates in all of these locations? Both stays in America were in two separate towns. So, would she need one certificate for each town, plus one for Athens? Thanks. I called the number for American citizens to use from their website, but it just has options to set up an appointment. What is the best way to speak with a person? The waiting times are getting progressively longer, and it seems that soon the expected wait time is going to be twice what it was in May when I applied. The VisaJourney "expected date" has gone from July 19 to August 15, to September 19, and now to October 2. This is very frustrating for me, and I'm sure others, as I've been waiting 114 days and people in June were getting theirs after around 70 days. Any words of advice or motivation? Did they fill out the timeline wrong, or is this real? I applied in May at the same (Vermont) service center, and still haven't received mine. I know I need to be patient, but its just strange that someone would get theirs in 65 days. Especially from Iraq (no offense), since it would seem they would need more background checks.
