Philippinesanyone else told at there interview that we think you not get married

she did get a white form. but they did give her back the passports. i called the embassy and they asked me for a letter and any proof we have a relationship on going. i been faxing them daily proof. they told me to check back in a week or two. but at the bottom of that form it said he case was going back to the nvc and to refer to them. So i am hoping we still have a chance.

Correct me If I am wrong, The white form is the 221(g). So your Fiance passport was given back to her? A white form is given when the CO needs further documentation or the case needs further review ( which the CO will no longer required any further documents from you both) after the interview, so the approval of the Visa can be granted after review is done.

In your case, it does say something about referring back your case to the NVC then maybe they want to make sure that NVC do their job of making proper study of the case again before it gets back to the Consular Office the Embassy here. What ever is the case maybe, I can only wish everything goes fine.

Philippinesanyone else told at there interview that we think you not get married

we had are interview on june 22. they deny her because they feel that she was not intending to get married. then the officer tells her she needs to convince them that she is. they never looked at her pictures, never read the ym chat logs. only looked at the phone bill and said a 5 min phone call is not prove a relationship. I really don't understand them. anyone else ever get this kind of result and were they able to convince them they intend to get married. :help:

Has your fiance received a yellow form or a white form? Did she receives anything from the US Embassy after she is done with the interview process? Is her passport with her, or is it that they kept your Fiance passport? Actually, if she did received a yellow form it is final, but if she did not received it then there is a hope that they will study the case further, and you will have to wait for the result. They mite be needing further documentation that you will be put in Administrative Review.

Our case was in AP but the CO no longer needs further documents for us to send, they took our passport with them, and we were told to wait until they will deliver the Visa once the review is done. The CO right after the interview told some one will explain to me and I WILL BE FINE. So that is it, I have learned that we are on AP, handed a white form 221(g) and no further documents needed and wait until we get the Visa.

PhilippinesCFO REQUIREMENT

Hi VJ members. I found out that CFO class is necessary or mandatory as well for the K1 visa. I know that we can attend the seminar ahead of time, but we'll have to go back once we have our visa to get it stamp. However, i am wondering what exactly happens during the one-on-one counseling? Is it somewhat like an interview? Has anybody got denied or failed?.What are the type of questions they ask during counseling? Thanks everyone!

Hello! Sorry I am not in the position to say anything about CFO, but I too would like to know if I can attend that seminar while waiting for my Visa to arrive. I sure it is really necessary to get it. I would like also to have the answers on some of your questions in mind about CFO.

Thank you so much for those kind heart VJ'ers who will give us the right advice on this matter. GOD BLESS every one!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsIR after K1 Interview. Consular dont need additional documents when 221(g) was given to Visa Applicant
Hello Every one! Our Visa was issued already last June 28, the AP was over. I am very happy to know that it did not took a longer time to wait. Mind you, just keep the faith, increase the faith while waiting for the Visa to come, and just wait and give the US Embassy people the time needed for them to work on their job. I did not bug them, did not call. But I did sent an email (polite one) just ONCE last June 30. And on the same day got an email that the Visa has been issued to us 2 days earlier, and ready for delivery to our designated address through 2GO. Just relax, take it easy although it is normal for us human being to be questioning why this, how come and when to wait. . . . . just put all your trust in God, for if God will use His ways and hands to move things it really is for SURE and will happen in just a matter of the blink of an eye. GOD BLESS every one and I pray for a smooth journey for you all.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsIR after K1 Interview. Consular dont need additional documents when 221(g) was given to Visa Applicant

Hi Chona...This is Scott. It appears to me, based on what you wrote here, that there is a missing document.
Now, whether that document should have been in your package from the USCIS/NVC or whether it was a document you needed to supply, you are not sure. Either the lady told you and due to the stress you did not remember, or she failed to tell you and was supposed to write it on 221g, it's hard to determine. It could have been a mistake on her part for failing to write this on your 221g. You mentioned the Filipino man seemed to be confused as well and just checked the box "wait till you hear from us".

I think waiting for an answer is dangerous. I'm not positive how the process works, but I believe if they issue a 221g, they are requesting a document. Either from you or some other agency.

Are you actively trying to call the USEM to get a clarification about what is needed if anything from you? I would be calling everyday, twice a day, until I could talk with someone that can tell me what is the status...tell them your story and just ask..."is there anything needed from me"? I would also have my fiance calling from the US. I have experianced in the past, when I called the USEM from the US, they seem to be more responsive. But that is just my feeling. So have your fiance calling as well.

Well, I know this is a trying time for you guys. I don't think you are being intentionally discriminated against, nor do I think you and your fiance working for the governments has any relevance on this. What I am suggesting is that you be very proactive...CALL OFTEN...EMAIL the USEM Inquiry mailbox OFTEN...maybe you will get someone that can answer your questions. Good Luck and God Bless.

Yes, thank you Scott. Like I have mentioned in the above topic of mine. I was closely looking at the american woman consul, and instead of an interview of me to her, our time was being locked into her scanning my paperwork, and me looking at what is she doing. I can not forget, and still fresh in my mind what she told me, yes there is a missing document, but she is suppose to asked me and told me in front of her what is she looking maybe I have a copy of that sheet of paper. I hope I am right.

The Filipino Guy is thinking why this Consul issue a 221(g) and on the "OTHER" column, she wrote "see reverse" and nothing is on the reverse, that makes him think and looks like he too was confused. That is why he just put a checked mark on that area where something is written about "wait until. . . . ..."

We will make a moved of emailing first and later on calling the Immigrant Visa section, We are giving them a week or two to make up their mind and do their job. Well we hope they really are taking good care of our case now... Thank you Scott for the effort of giving us advice. GOD BLESS.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsIR after K1 Interview. Consular dont need additional documents when 221(g) was given to Visa Applicant
Aloha Every one! Interview date K1 06.13.2011. Long wait is irritating, to find out the interview with the pre-interviewer (filipina) took only 5 minutes, and with the Consul (american woman) took only 5 minutes, few easy questions were asked. I am not complete stranger to my love Fiance so I knew very well and confident to my answers. But what is annoying the final interviewer took most of our time scanning our paperwork for a documents she ( this Consul) could not even find, and she did not told me what is she looking for, I was in front of her and I was just looking at her closely instead of her to focus on me as I talked and answer her question. She asked for our photos but because she is busy looking for something, she failed to take a look at them, even though I remind her about the photos she asked of me. This is something ridiculous for being treated unfairly and feels like discriminated. Knowing the fact that, you had all the required documentations with you during the interview and you are confident with your answer during the Visa Interview.

This whole experienced once again, prompted me to open up this topic even if this will not sound new to member who already have read my post here. Everyday our heart is being crushed by this incident, knowing others got their approval right away to think you also have the same cases and same amount of preparation during the interview.

The final interview, this Consul just told me, there is a missing document she is looking and she can not find it and so she can not issue a document right at that moment, further she told me some one will explained it to me and I WILL BE FINE. Unfortunately, I am so much anxious that time what is it, my head is aching, hungry and tired because of this long wait inside the Embassy. Here we go, the Filipino Guy called my name, there he explained to me, "our case is on internal review, the Consul no longer asked additional documents to be accomplished, he gave me this sheet of paper 221(g). He is also wondering, why the Consul issue this 221(g) and yet there is nothing to be supplied as additional documents to be given by me to them. This is only my observation while I am looking closely to this guy, he told me to "ignore" the note "see reverse" written by this Consul since nothing is being written on the reverse either. . . . what A ******fck! See? my headache aggravated really. . . . . It is the Filipino guy who just checked the "WAIT UNTIL YOU HERE FROM US." it is small box at the bottom of the 221(g).

Guys? Don't you see and feel how it is being treated this way????? No magic words being heard "approval" or the other way around . . . . so we are on Internal Review, My passport is with them, I asked why I did not fill up to go, this Filipino Guy told me, Ma'am we already know your address where to send your Visa after the review is done. Amazing, he recited to me my address and I said okay that is correct. Well, well well. . . . .

IF ANY ONE has the same experience with the US Embassy (Manila) people in there and the process, please please please feel free to give your comments, it is also open to all VJ members. Leave your comment and advice, it is greatly appreciated. MANY THANKS.... GOD BLESS THE REST OF OUR JOURNEY. . . . .

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhy can't the k-1 visa's be processed first come, first serve basis????
Aside from the "first come first serve basis" why don't they process it a little bit faster and not just faster but properly looking into the details, they been doing this many times before, so they must know what points in the application needed much attention, if they think something is wrong then go to the next application it might be easier to do it, that way they can have many papers to examine and at least touch every day, well of course many are waiting for their approval.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNo words of approval or denial from the Consul

Hi miss chona..what do you think was the possible missing document the CO was saying? Did you comply all the DS-forms, evidence of having met in person, evidence of support, proof of ongoing relationship and other important documents needed? I will have my interview on July 11 and I'm getting worried reading this news from you..

That is also a wonder to me, she must have told me in front of her during the interview what is she looking for, but she did not. But when I was called again to the other window, a Filipino guy take hold of our Visa application and then he explained to me that there is nothing missing and I do not need to send any more documents to them. He gave this short bond paper and the bottom he checked mark the box, saying " wait until you hear from us, your Visa application is under internal review. That is all my dear. So it makes me think "weird".

So I got all the documents with me, complete, but what happened inside, is you only have to give them what they asked from you, in my case the Filipina pre interviewer, and the American Woman Consul did not asked our evidence of genuine relationships either and proof of ongoing relationships, she asked if we have photos together I gave to her, but she is busy scanning something and she even did not look at our pictures, even the support to the State wages and my Fiance ITR were not asked from me the Cert of Employment, the Bank Statement and etc etc. . .. DS Forms I gave to them because they asked them from me.

Have you or anybody else that is having the same problem called and asked if you are in administrative processing? Good luck you guys and I hope you will get some type of answer soon.

Yes they called after 2 weeks but some was just told to wait for another 2-3 weeks since their Visa application still on admin review, and some those were put on hold for some lacking documents got their Visa after 2 -3 weeks. But our case is really different, nothing has been asked from us to send more to them further documents, it is that they really just want us to wait little longer for weird reason really. I have completed everything, passed the medical, not to brag my fiancee has got income above the poverty level in the US, he has no dependents, and his income alone is more than enough, It is really horrible what makes them decide to put us on hold. . . . .

Since you are on internal review, your USCIS approval expiration date doesnt matter any more, so dont worry about it. I guess they just have some checks they want to run, hopefully you'll be done even before August. In faith I am saying Congratulations in advance!

Thank you for the reply, we were just pissed off, but no matter what happens we have our love and commitment in tact that is what matters most.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNo words of approval or denial from the Consul
Hello Everyone, I am done with the Visa Interview at the US EMbassy Manila today and I was on great hopes that we will get an approval. Easy question, very few and very basic. Unfortunately the American Woman Consul did not say the word "approved" or "denied". She says she is looking for something missing and wait until my number will be called again to know what it is then I will be fine. So I went to the window where my name and number was called, this Filipino guy just explain to me that there is nothing or no more documents needed, rather it will be on internal review. I asked until when? And he answered just wait until we hear from them soon after the internal review is done, if all goes well then Visa will be issued immediately. Now here is the hardest part, since there is no specific time frame as when will be the period of waiting, what shall we do next. . . I mean our course of action. Just worried since this K1 Approval Petition from the USCIS is good only for 4 months from the time it was approved, in short ours will be good only until August 20, 2010. If we can not hear from them as early as that date then horrible will happen, we mite go back from the very first step and this is something ridiculous.

Any one please who have the same case with ours, we would like to hear from your advice. Thank you and GOD BLESS.
