Did you check online at USCIS?  Our ARN was assigned within a few days of our NOA1.

Sometimes I think the "date watching" on Igor's is counterproductive for me  ;)   It just depends on what I read!

Yeah I checked. It says:

On March 6, 2014, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

No ARN yet :/

Yeah I read something like that aswell. We got the NOA1 on March 6th and I have seen people with NOA1 dates of April 1st and they already gotten their ARN assigned.... *sigh*

Hey!

You just kinda have to keep faith that everything is going to be fine and keep yourself busy to distract yourself from the wait :P

I picked up the visa today, so after 7 months we have it in hand and I can finally move to my fiance!

Good luck!!

Hey! Thanks for replying :)

We are waiting for the 5 month mark and then he is going to call USCIS to ask where we stand! I really hope we get the NOA2 before the 5 month mark, but it's only 4 more weeks until then..

My biggest question right now is about the language that the interview is going to be in. I wonder if it is going to be in German or English and somehow this is stressing me out even though it shouldn't as I am fluent in both :P

Please keep me up to date on your process, I am really interested to see what lies ahead for us :)

Been looking for a topic in here for Austrian people who have either applied or are currently in the process of applying for a visa in the US.

My fiance (US citizen) and I have applied for a K-1 visa. We got our NOA1 on the 6th of March and we are at the Texas Service Center.

I know it is not yet time to worry, but I kinda hoped there would be some Austrian people around who went through this process and have some kind of tips or advice on the whole process or on the embassy. I have read all the feedback on them, but I suppose not everyone updated that :P

It'd be nice to get some insight from someone who has been through this :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAlien Fiance moving within foreign country

Hello!

My I-129F got approved yesterday and I am facing the next step. I moved within Austria and tried to change the address online, but it would not let me choose the right state as all states were American states and I am not living in America.

Now that it is approved, I have no way of changing it at all and I don't know whom to contact.

Since the NVC is going to mail the petition to my embassy, do I have to contact my embassy or call NVC and let them know?

Thank you in advance!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A questions - parents special characters in names

Hello!

I used the search function, but couldn't find the reply to my question anywhere, so I'll try it this way.

I am filing for the K1 Visa and am filling out the G-325A for myself.

My parents were both born in Poland and both their first names and their birthplace use special characters.

Do I put the right symbols in (for example: ?ód? instead of Lodz) or does it not matter?

I know there is a space to put non-roman letters in if MY name has different letters (luckily that is not the case), but there is no such space for my parents' names.

Thank you in advance!
