USCIS Service CentersCSC slowing down??
Completely agree with you MrsB2012. The French government lets anyone into France. I would rather have USCIS be thorough than to just approve any old petition. I have to wait too, it's hard but come on, my husband left his daughter here with me in the US when he went back the England.

And again, as Mrsb2012 said, if you hate the USA so much then stay in France. And it doesn't sound like French girls are that great either, missy. God Bless America!!!!!!

USCIS Service CentersPlease read this!! Important!!

what's 'touched" mean? Mine sent on August 8th. On August 16th,We got email and text.Said our case is routing to VSC. That's it.Never transfer to somewhere.Never said touched. Our case statues now is Initial review: On August 13, 2012, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Is it normal? Will my case next step should transfer to somewhere or touched before waiting for NOA2? I waiting to make baby. Can't afford to wait. Will be too old.Plus i miss my hubby's nice sexy and warm hairy chest.

I also have a copy of my home owners insurance policy since I really would rather not bring a copy of the deed to my house/property. Thank you so much for your response tho. I don't know why I get so nervous! It's stupid, I know....but I guess I have always been a nervous person and it just about always turns out that I was nervous for no reason.

Well I have one more week to go. Should I bring anything other than my NOA1, letter from employer, bank statement, letter from school saying I am a current student and on the deans list, itinerary with return flight information, my business license. Anything else or do you think that would be fine?

My husband had a hell of a time getting into the US but border patrol in Seattle was very nice and we even had a nice conversation about London over the phone, talking about the places he still wanted to go and my favorite places to travel. Maybe he was supposed to talk to me about that stuff but either way it was a casual conversation and he was a very nice guy. About 2 more weeks before I leave for England for 2 months!! I can't wait. I guess I shouldn't really sweat it anymore, I plan on telling the complete truth regardless so I suppose there is nothing I can do about it, lol. They either like what I say and let me thru or they don't and I get pulled aside. I mean, Im not traveling with anything illegal and the alcohol I'm bringing in is well below the 1 liter limit so I'm not too worried :) Not too worried until I get there anyways, lol. I do enjoy hearing stories about personal experiences, so keep 'em coming!!! :)

Awesome. That sorta puts my mind at ease a bit then :) I am only coming with a carry on sized suitcase full of clothes and a large suitcase that will be checked that is going to be basically empty except for some christmas presents. That is so I can cram a lot of his stuff into it and take it back with me so we don't have to keep paying for multiple checked bags. :)

I'm just worried because I will be staying there for almost 2 months. I already have a letter from my employer lined up, my business license from the business I own here in the US, my college enrollment papers stating I am a current student in good standing, etc. Ugh, I just realllly hope I don't get detained. I have anxiety and I think I would completely freak out if I had to be detained. :( I mean, my in laws are writing a letter as well. It's just that I really want them to be like 'ok' and waive me thru. although I know that probably wouldn't happen, at least I would be prepared if it did....ugh, Im really not looking forward to passport control...

Do you think a letter from my husband would be something that I could include. Sort of like a letter of invitation? I have the NOA1 stuff with me now, and once we get the NOA2, which will hopefully be soon, then I will have that too. Ugh, I just REALLY don't want to be grilled or detained when I get there. I mean, I know people stay for a lot longer than I am staying but still...I want to make sure I have everything that I need :)

Im glad you all told me to carry the NOA1 with me because I wouldn't have thought to do that. I just hope it is easier than last time because it would be terrible to be grilled again.

The last time I went to visit my husband (who was at the time my boyfriend) it was in April, 2012 and it was the first time I was meeting him in person. The woman who took my passport was very suspicious of me and asked me a load of questions and I honestly thought I was going to be denied entry but, reluctantly, she let me thru. I am a US citizen and my husband is a British Citizen. We are still awaiting our NOA2 but I am headed to England to stay with him for 2 months. I have a letter from my current employer stating that I am taking my vacation days to go to England and will have my job when I get back. I also own a small business, which I will be bringing my business license as proof of that along with my car registration, proof that I have a child in the US whom I fully support (she will be staying with her father and my sister while I am gone) as well as proof that I can support myself while I am in the UK. My mother in law is also writing a letter stating that she will be responsible for my stay in the UK and will provide full room and board for me. We do not lie and never have lied when we have gone thru passport control and I do not plan on lying when I enter the UK in December but when they ask what the reason for my visit is, I plan on saying 'i am visiting family for the holidays'. I have my in laws and husband number and they already are fully aware of all the ####### I had to go thru last time coming into the country so they are prepared to receive a phone call from border patrol if they require it.
Anyways, my question is, do you think I have anything to worry about when coming back to the UK? I will have about $1,000 with me to support myself while I am there since I am staying with his mom and dad. I also, of course, have my return ticket. Is there any advice you all could give me? I just don't want a repeat of last time, I will never forget that.
Thanks
Denise

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsNVC Case complete! YAY! Now waiting on interview with London Embassy

And thank you for the detail in the info you posted on your timeline.  I ordered a tax transcript from the IRS and will provide copies of my wage stubs for my husband :)  I already sent everything in but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.  He has a photo book that I made online that he is going to take in to show them in case they ask for pictures.  Did you get asked for pictures at the interview?

WOW!  That's fast!  How was your interview????

I read your timeline info but was sort of confused when you mentioned that the woman asked for your spouses tax info.  I already sent that in to the NVC so should I send more copies to my husband?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI-130 August 2012 Filers
Im so happy for you both!!! I guess I am getting sort of down. I filed on Aug 13th and got my NOA1 on Aug 16th and still haven't heard anything. I know it takes up to 5 months but I guess because Im seeing so many august filers get approved I am getting sort of anxious for mine to get approved, like all other august filers still waiting for their NOA2! lol!

Has anyone called lately and asked about CSC and what dates they are working on? It says somewhere on the visa journey website that they are currently working on August 12th, so I HOPE mine gets done soon. Any word from them at all about the dates?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAugust 2012 California Filers???
I know that every country may take a bit longer or shorter time to process the applications so I will keep that in mind. Hopefully the UK is one of those countries with less fraud cases, could that be in our favor?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCR1 Visa App
Mine is being processed thru the Cali. center. From what I have read on here, they seem to be processing them faster than the other service centers. It is a CR1 visa, and my husband is a British Citizen if that helps. Thanks for all the replies, I am going over to England for a couple months in hopes that they will schedule the interview during the time I am there. I sent evrything in and got the NOA1 on August 13th and I am headed to England the beginning of December to the end of January.

Thanks everyone!

Is there someone I can contact to follow up on the status of our application? We submitted everything and it was approved on August 13th 2012. We are currently waiting for our NOA2. I keep checking the USCIS website and it still says the exact same thing it has said since I got the NOA1. Should I contact someone or is there a way to speed along the process? Patience is not my strong point.

So my husband and I will be reunited (and it feels so good!) on Wednesday (TOMORROW!!!)  and I want to know if there is anything other than the obvious that he needs to bring with him when he goes through the port of entry (seattle).  Obviously he needs his passport and the sealed packet but is there anything else?  Thank you :)
