United Kingdomi-130 Parents just approved

Thanks for clarifying that for me I just wanted to make sure I had it all written down for my parents.

They do not plan to go back yet but will have to at sometime........which will bring me to my next questions anybody have any suggestions on good shippers from UK?  They do not have a lot of stuff they want to bring but I know they will need to ship some family items.

Yes my parents are still in USA they adjusted status.

They had a interview waiver letter back in March from DC office.

I am just trying to establish if they will have anything stamped in their UK passports at anytime to state they are LPR or if they just show their Green Cards when they re-enter?

Their i-130 & i 485 where approved July 15, 2014

I am USC I petitioned for my parents who where here in USA on Dec 23, 2013

They where approved on July 15 after I called & requested they expedite the case as it was outside the 5 month processing time.

I just wondered do they get anything stamped in their UK passports to say they are now LPR?  I just can not remember from when I was a LPR?

Do they get anything stamped in our UK passports to say they are LPR?

Or do they just produce our Green Card at Re-Entry to the USA?

I can not remember ever getting anything in my passport when I became a LPR?

I also think when I went back to the UK for 2 weeks I re-entered on the US citizen line?

I just want to make sure I have the correct info for my parents if they travel back to UK.

United KingdomShipping from UK to USA

Thanks for the post do you have any links for shipping the horse?

My Mum has had him since he was 4 year old & done everything with him, she really wants to ship him so I have to try to find out if we can do it for her.  There are really cheap horses over here but it is not her horse that she is very attached to, she has never sold one of her horses they stay with her for life......he is with her friend now but I just want to find out if it is at all within our reach to get him shipped over.

Thanks that may work for them.....now I have what may appear to be an unusual question.....has anyone had a horse shipped?

My Mum has a horse in UK her staying here was totally unexpected, she would like to find out the cost of shipping the horse....I think it will cost a fortune but just thought I would ask if anyone else has done it?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures2 year rule
If we get married do we still have to comply with the met in person in last 2 years rule if we actually get married?
Is the met in person 2 year rule only relevant to the K1 fiance visa?
I am totally confused by this?
My situation is we have known each other 5 years
Started relationship 3 years ago but have not seen each other for 2.5 years just the daily contact by email, phone etc?
If we are married do we apply for CR1 and K3?
Thanks

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresproof of ongoing relationship

Can you just clarify this for me in relation to my situation we have known each other for 5 years been in a relationship 3 years BUT I had not seen here in person in the last 2.5 years??? Until now when we are getting married? Do we need to have seen each other in last 2 years prior to marriage or will this trip where we are getting amrried qualify?
We have all the pics, phone calls emails etc from last 3 years?
Thanks

The requirement is that you have been together in person at some point during the two years prior to filing the petition. If you thought otherwise, think again.

Hi
Currently in USA we are considering getting married we have known each other for last 5 years however other than this trip we have not seen each other in last 2 years last saw each other 2.5 years ago, lots of phone calls etc we can prove.
Just worried if we marry now in next month will they say although we have known each other for 5 years been in a relationship 3 years that the fact we have not physically seen each other for 2.5 years we do not qualify under 2 year rule?
Or will this trip even if we marry on it count as contact in the last 2 years? Or must there be something prior to this trip in the last 2 years?
Hope that is not confusing question???
Hope I have put it in the right place?
Thanks

If you get married, the two-year meeting requirment no longer applies because you won't be filing a petition for a fiance(e). You'll be filing for a spouse. Believe me, it can be a hard concept to get your head around. I filed out forms for my wife and I and wrote "none" where it asked for spouse name. good.gif

If you meet on "this trip" and don't get married, the visit "counts".
