US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Interview on January 25	i am marie 24 yrs old.my petitioner is from PA we applied k1 visa. he filed my petition last oct 3,2009. noa1 approved last nov 2009. noa2 approved dec 9, 2009. my bf recieved the letter with the case number 3 days after our noa2 approval. i dont know where to follow up now my concerned about not recieving the letter instruction of my medical.and it is more than 1month now and this is a long wait i think coz most of my friends recieved there letters two weeks after the noa2 approval.i try to call the manila embassy and they refer me to a hotline number and it makes me pissed off coz no one answer my calls.and the hotline is always busy.i dont know what else to do now.my bf want me to follow up this but i keep trying calling those contact numbers that i have.i want to schedule now my medical coz since we have already my case number.but my bf said to me that i need first to get my letter at the same time the packet package.pls help me. i want to know whats happening on my petition now? i cant wait to get there in usa.i really miss my bf.its almost 1 year since we havent see to each other.a friend of mine telling me that i can be able to call now the st. lukes for my medical schedule coz i have already my case number.my question is how i can be able to contact the st lukes now.i dont have yet the instruction letter that i am waiting.and also the packet package is not yet deliver for me.i say to my bf that he need to call the uscis about this but he said that this is not the uscis concerned.i really dont know what to do for this.hoping for your advice guys. thanks alot and GODbless us all.. marie helpsmilie.gif Edited by lo's, 19 January 2010 - 10:31 AM.	lo's	Female	0	2010-01-19 10:30:00

Hey there all VJ's. my medical is on feb. 1, 2010 and visa interview is feb 8,2010.i hope i can make all this things easier.and i pray that GOD will provide all the things i needed on that day.i feel nervous and so much happy.i cant wait to see my best of friends partner in my life.i have concerned about my medical fee.hhmmmm on my first day of medical what things to do? do i pay right away the $ 213.35 at st lukes? what documents do i need to show? thank you so much and GODbless us all... Philippines	Visa still not released	Hi All Vicky had her successful interview last Thursday 1-14, she left the embassy by 10 a.m. with a pink slip in hand and told she's approved. She wasn't told there were any additional documents or anything else needed. She signed up for the Air21 delivery and paid the delivery fee, and got a tracking number. It's now Tuesday evening there, 7:30 p.m. The embassy is closed. The tracking number is still not active, in other words it still hasn't yet left the embassy. omg i dont know what else i can say to you now. i think this delayed processing now is due to cut of this year.ive heard that the consul representatives change yearly.and thats the reason of your visa delayed processing.hhmmmm anyways this is also my problem now.but the only thing i wait for more than 1 month now is the instruction letter of my medical..gggrrrr it is we have already our case number but i dont have recieve yet my medical letter....this delayed processing now is due to visa cut off i think. Th. Fri. Mon. Tu., It's already been 4 business days and the visa still isn't printed? It's 6 calendar days... I called the pay-per-call phone number last night (10:30 a.m. local time Tuesday) and $18 later was not told anything. I was just trying to find out if there's an additional form we needed or a problem with our case. They said all inquiries have to be done by email or fax, and it's still processing. The first lady said it's still with the CO, the second lady or supervisor said it's in final processing and being coordinated between the immigrant visa unit and the non-immigrant visa unit. She told me they cannot see basically anything from their office regarding what the status is, just that it's pending. I said isn't it unusual it isn't shipped yet since it says 7-10 days on the embassy's website? She said that's the time for delivery after the embassy released it and there's no promises about how long it will take them to process it. I know I'm impatient, yes. I want my honey here with me and I've seen most timelines the visa is received in just a couple of business days or 3-4. Tomorrow it's 5 and it isn't even shipped yet. Vicky is sending an email to the embassy as I write this that I fully expect will not be answered for days. What else can I do? The people on the appt/ info. line knew absolutely nothing, I even asked for and spoke to a supervisor. They gave me a local number "nonimmigrant trunk line" that I had Vicky call. They, two seperate times, said they don't have it yet and transferred her to a recording when they said they're transferring her to the immigrant visa dept. She gave up after the second call, can't blame her. Tomorrow is the 5th business day, I'm only trying to find out what the problem is or why they haven't released it yet, if there's additional documents or something needed from us. Should I call Dept. of State? Is this normal? We're trying to make her travel plans, and we were both sure she'd be here this week. Now... if they ship it tomorrow, maybe. She still has to do the CFO seminar, I told her to wait until she had the visa so she doesn't get hassled for some strange paperwork like i've read so many times. It's very clear on their website the documents required if you have your visa already. If the embassy doesn't ship it soon (like tomorrow) we're going to go another weekend apart, and completely in the dark as to why.	lo's	Female	0	2010-01-19 08:51:00
Philippines	How did u present your pictures during the interview?	hi guys. i cant believe i am asking this but for those who already had their interviews, how did u present your pictures? did u put them in an album? paste them on paper and put caption? put them in an envelope? i cant seem to decide how to do them my interview is on the 3rd of Feb and i am starting to panic pls hi i think you will present only ten pictures. anyways did you recieve any packet from embassy before on your interview? i am much confuse about that packet they said? do you have any idea about that? when we will get that before on our visa interview or after our visa interview? thanks and more power lo's	lo's	Female	0	2010-01-23 09:19:00

Middle East and North Africa	Should I live in Jordan while we wait?	I need some good advice. It has been 91 days since our CR1 NOA1 and waiting gets harder every day. I am considering a move to Jordan while we wait this out, but I am not sure of the requirements for the CR1. I will still have a home in the USA, but no job. What do they require to grant the visa? We want to be together now, but don't want to do anything that will hurt the visa issuance. I have another visit planned for next month, but I know it's going to be so hard to leave. Please help... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	where i can get the packet now so that i can have my visa schedule soon.	Hello everyone! pls give me info about this.my hubby said something about my immunization.as what ive heard that is a package to my medical and thats why we will pay $213 to st lukes medical.however my packet is not yet deliver almost 2months now.i dont know what to do for this.my partner research he's own and we didnt get exact info.i say to him to call the NVC about this.but the woman she was talking on the phone said i need to wait for my packet. PLS READ THIS ONE IF MY PARTNER IS CORRECT ABOUT ME HAVING SHOT BEFORE ON MY MEDICAL EXAM (I finally got through and talked with someone from NVC. They said that the petition did make it to Manila and that you are approved to have an interview. However, they are the ones that will make the appointment. We really do not have a say in the matter. She also said to wait until you get the packet in the mail before doing your medical. You can get your shots taken care of at any time before you medical appointment.
