Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Do i stand a chance of approval?	Hello there, hope you all having a great day. My question is, i know i will be filling for i-601/212 after my interview. no criminal records just overstayed for about 10months. Have passed all processes and now getting ready for my cr1 interview at the embassy in my country. my wife and children relocate with me to my country. been here close to a year, no job, tough life. family tearing apart. how will my usc family leaving here with me affect my chances of getting waiver approved and can i asked for expedited process? any thoughts, advice ? you can also e-mail prvt. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Submit I-601 documents	not sure where u are in your process but you have to first go for the scheduled visa interview and they will have to find you eligible for a waiver before you can file for it. once they find you eligible, then they will give you a specific instructions to follow. its different procedure from consulate to consulate. good luck	NYAMEYEODO	Male	Ghana	2012-05-08 12:52:00

Africa: Sub-Saharan	bank statement	not sure you need a bank statement for k1 interview. but if you do, the embassy will have to get access to the account number should they need to run a check on the account. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	expediting waivers in ghana	Hope you all well. Let me hit this straight to the head. I have an interview coming up in 2 months. Am very certain i will need to file for either i-601 or i-212 or both not sure. I did overstayed my B1/B2 visa for about 10 months. My wife and children all american citizen return home with me hoping we get a job, work whiles we work on my paper work so we can return to the states one day. We have been facing extremely difficult time here. Being in Africa for most part of this year, no job, being robbed and the worse is my little one has birth defects she is not getting any medical attention. she was seeing specialist whiles we were in the states. my babys' situation is getting worse daily. we are all getting depressed fear for the worse and not know what to do. Has anyone experience such hardship and has had waivers expedited in ghana? can we request to file this waivers prior to the interview date? can we bring it to the interview and present it? Hello there, Am an expect on this but with my personal experience at the interview, i would say try get someone that has at least filed their tax over the last two years. The embassy knows very well how to find such faults and how to use them to delay you. just keep looking for someone that has been employed for at least two years and has all two transcripts. remember is all about the figures on the transcripts nothing else. keep looking and dont loose hope. best of luck. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	DON'T FORGET YOUR TAX TRANSCRIPT!	I provided 2009, 2010 and 2011 of the Official IRS Form 1040 for both the Sponsor and Joint Sponsor with no Tax Transcripts. I also provided: VA Award Letter for both Sponsor and Joint Sponsor W-2s for 2011 and 1099-R (Military Retirement) for Joint Sponsor. Would that be plenty of evidence for them? Am not sure about your embassy but i know majority if not all the embassies ask for tax transcript and nothing else. its takes 10 days to get them in the mail. but you or your pettioner can walk into the tax office and request for it. thats what my wife did and it worked. good luck. Good morning lovely people. just stoped by to share my experience with you. had my immigrant visa interview just last week, went great. Thank god for last minute hint i had from a friend. i can't keep this hint from you cos it really helped. If you already know and have your tax transcript, this may only serve as remindal to bring them on your interview date. if you don't have them or know what a tax trascript is, get your petitioners to request for them from the irs. Remember they are totally different from the regular tax papers. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need your help	Am sorry but if you are going to be interviewed in accra ghana, all they care about is the tax transcripts and nothing else. i was there myself and saw how many applicants were turned away for months only to go get their tax transcripts and not tax papers or w2s. They where not too hard on 2011. 2010,2009 and 2008 where enough. try get them. your sponsor can walk to their local irs office and request for them and that will be instant. online, takes about ten days.
