Again, he is just turned 22 years old, he didn't make enough last 2012 but he did make above poverty level this 2013 and he is a regular employee. But as you say the 2012 does not meet 125%, you will also need to provide 2013 return and proof of current employment.  Employment letter, pay stub etc.   If he files as soon as he gets the W-2, you should have your returns early Feb. yes thats the one they were asking his 2012 taxes. I don't believe that ...  if you feel the K-1 process is stressing you out then you will also be stressed by everyday living ... especially if your guy lack financial stability  ... so be careful of what you get yourself into.         We have been together for 1 year 8 months. Living together in our apartment for five months in the US and he visited me twice here in the Philippines already. His family is treating me like their daughter since he is the only son, they are willing to help but co sponsors are not accepted. When he knew about my 221g yesterday, he cried because he doesn't know what to do to get me back there. But thanks for your opinions, as what i have said my fiancee is earning above poverty level already. the only problem is his 2012 taxes..... right now he is earning 26 thousand and that is poverty level. Since he was here last 2013 february and october 2013, he missed two months work but still he manages to cope us with his not sufficient income during 2012. And for your information, i was in US last 2012, we are living together in the US which I can strongly say that we are living just right (i have a job that pays me well and i graduated college with bachelors degree)we have apartment, a car, he owns a house in north Dakota and he just turned 22 today. What do you expect from a 22 year old guy? He is doing his best to get me back because it is not fun to live alone in his apartment. How can you say that 2500 a month on his regular job and 4000-5000( 16-20 days of work) isn't enough to live in the US? We maybe stress out so much with the papers, we fight about the papers but I'm happy to say we always fix it just like anybody of us here. The consul told me my application is fine but they wanted my fiancé's 2012 income tax return( where he didn't reach poverty level). He will file taxes as soon as he can and i hope 2013 taxes will be enough plus his paychecks and we will pass his employee letter again. Do you think they will look at his 2013 taxes than 2012 this time? Me and my fiancé were living in while I'm in the US last 2012. He is only 20 years old that time. But because I had a job there too under j1 visa, money isn't a problem at all. He work at the forestry part time during summer. October that year, he found a regular job. he is earning 2500 a month with his regular job and during summer as a wild land fire fighter he can earn 4500 in 16 days or 20 days of working..... basically we just need more documents saying that he is earning above poverty level. Philippines	Visa appointment rescheduled ;o)	Thanks for the uplift guyz..... But When I first saw a January appointment it was a week ago but i didn't grab it, and i waited for another but the next appointment was on april, i schedule april 16 coz I know I can still reschedule it, i waited for few days 24 hours, check on it every 5 minutes or half an hour ( i know it sounds crazy) but it worked for me..... I just keep on praying and praying and I got my desired schedule now..... Thank you Lord... Just keep monitoring the visa appointment guys, don't lose hope..... I read from Hank that the medical should be done 2 or 1 week before the interview..... What I did is just refreshing my visa appointment account every 5 minuts or 30 minutes or hours just to see if there's an available one, it worked.... It took me days to get this appointment, but don't worry just keep on refreshing ur account u can get it, i believe so..... I'll keep you posted if I can see available slots for you....
