His family would just stare at me like I was a piece of art or something and then they would errupt in clapping and laughing...etc if I would say something in Arabic....they were so cute! I miss them so much! Wow! That's cool... I speak Spanish, i must practice english... and of course I speak Salvadoreñooooo I'd love to learn more language... Sounds Great!!! So we'll wait for the email or call again on may 1st, Every time we hear the same answer it's like a torture They seem robots... I still have hope about all of us... and i'll be happy if one of us is scheduled this month or before the 2nd week of may. At least One!! I e-mailed the embassy in Amman & they said that they haven't received May files yet...whatever that means. They said they were scheduling for May....so now I am super confused. NVC told me Monday that May scheduling was closed...so what is it??? From what I understand, each embassy gives NVC a number of slots for interviews and NVC fills them out. NVC probably filled up all the slots but haven't sent the final schedule list to embassy?. Could be open slots at embassy allocated for other local things like DFCs, Visitor Visas, etc which they are still scheduling for May? I don't know, just a wild guess... You do need to talk to both embassy to find out what type of interviews are they scheduling for May as well as talk to NVC to find out why they can't put you in one of the open slots of May. I specified that we applied for the CR1 visa. I was hoping they were answering me specifically, but they could have been speaking generally. Who knows??? I have no idea. Amanda i would believe that they don`t have free room for may interview when i checked cairo embassy it was full loaded for May and it was from march 29th which was last update on the embassy website so i dunno if there is something like that for the other embassies or not am getting depressed but in same time it gave us some time to be good organized for the interview I'm in the same boat as you except i'm a little more upset at this scheduling process. My case was complete on Apr 6 and the Thai embassy updated thier website on 10 Apr. I also did not get an interview in may. I can't understand why, Not all of the work days have interviews scheduled. I don't see why they cant find an empty day and fill it. Hi everybody! I had high hopes that we would get a May interview date. I thought this week would be a good week and we would hear something, I just didn't expect to hear that. You are acutally the second person who has said something about maybe our interview wasn't scheduled in May because of a mean interviewer at the embassy. And you are right. There is definitely a reason for the delay, although I don't know what it is. I'm sure it is in our favor. And it does feel good in a way to be done with everything and just wait for the next round of scheduling. Maybe the embassy will send their June slots to NVC before the middle of May and we will now ahead of time. So I just have to stay strong and find a way to distract myself. Although, I was hoping for my husband's interview as my birthday present (my b-day is May 8th), but instead maybe it will be in time for his birthday on June 13th. Amanda I was wondering like you a beautiful birthday present like "Case Completed" (my bd was on april 11th) and a wonderful birthday for my hubby (on April 18th) "Interview date" BUT............ nothing happened Maybe i was demanding too much... She said that someone just has to give us the actual "case complete status." I said...oh will that take another 10-15 business days? She laughed and said that it will be probably today or tomorrow. So all is in God's hands....its just the waiting that is killer....So hopefully we will just squeeze in and get an interview date. The operator told me that you have to have a case complete BEFORE the second week of the month to get scheduled, but I don't have much faith in that....hopefully she is wrong and we will get our interview scheduled this week too.
