Russia, Ukraine and BelarusK-1 and Medical Interview_Requirements
Keep in mind the MOS# is for the case being assigned to Moscow embassy. You don't necessarily need it to register/schedule interview. In my opinion, it's just good to know if you want to contact the embassy and check if they have your case. Maybe someone else can chime in?

Your question about the $350; just go to the website where you can pay this VISA fee and it has all the instructions and information regarding this online payment. It also has information about going to the bank to make this payment, and even the post office.

Yes, she is good to go for medical. The MOS# will be needed for the Moscow embassy to coordinate for interview, i.e. registering for interview at http://www.ustraveld...niv-visapay.asp, paying VISA fee, etc. She can also go to the bank and pay as well.

From what I have read on some VJ threads is that the medical is good for a year. That being said, you are good to go and you don't have to wait for the MOS#. As far as the MOS# itself, your fiance is right. This is the case number received from NVC for the MOSCOW embassy. This will undoubtedly be needed in order to coordinate for her interview. I'm still waiting on mine and notice date was on the 9th of March. I just got to be patient...sigh!!!

Russia, Ukraine and Belarusdo I pay for medical in rubles?

"All documents not written in English or in the official language of the country in which the interview takes place MUST be accompanied by a translation in English. Translations must be certified by a competent translator and notarized. Translations submitted to the NVC will be included in the applicant’s case file."

Get....and pay for the DS-3025 form. Whatever you do, get that form. Trust us!

Is this DS-3025 the vaccination form she will pay extra for that can/will be translated to English? If so, I will make sure she gets this!

My fiancee called and scheduled her medical at IOM. She told me they said that you can pay in dollars, so she will do this. Both the medical fee's and vaccination translation.

Russia, Ukraine and BelarusRussian Police Cert

3 months doesn't sound right. I've been looking on the website for days and can't find it. I remember it being either 6 or 12. At least, I'm pretty sure I remember that.

My fiancee went with one "within 6 months" of her interview and had no problems. I hope this helps.

Interesting that he switched to English. My wife doesn't speak English, and I assumed this would not be a problem for the interview. I speak Russian well enough, so it's not really an issue for us.

Yeah, it really didn't matter what language her interview was in (Russian/English). She is fluent. I foresee you and your wife having no problems. I speak, read, and write in Russian also. Take care!

Thank you. I also wish the best for you and everyone as well. Yes, tickets are booked for the end of the month. And, I'm well aware of not wearing shoes in the home. I spent a few months in Yekaterinburg with my fiancee... :D

Thanks again!

National Visa Center (Dept of State)STILL HAVENT RECEIVED CASE! NVC RESEARCH?
Unfortunately, all you can do is wait and scan your approval notice to NVCResearch@state.gov. My approval was on 9 March 2012 and it finally got to NVC on 04 April 2012 and shipped to embassy on the 6th. I kept calling everyday until they said it was in their system and received our new case number. I know my petition is for an I-129F, but getting to NVC from USCIS is the same. BTW, I emailed our scanned copy as well to research and have not heard anything! So, keep calling. Best of luck to you.

National Visa Center (Dept of State)It's been 18 days...

Did you use a service like DHL, USPS or FedEx to track your package?

Why would I use a shipping service? The K1 petition is supposed to be forwarded to NVC by USCIS upon approval; it's just not there yet....again I Sigh!!!

National Visa Center (Dept of State)It's been 18 days...
Hello all. Well, it's been 18 days and our petition has not arrived at NVC. Every time I call, they say it's not in their system. I have already emailed NVCResearch@state.gov and attached a copy of the I-797 approval with a notice date of 9 March 2012. It's a little frustrating to say the least. Thanks for letting me vent a little this morning. Big Sigh!!!!
Jason74MaleRussia2012-04-04 07:32:00
National Visa Center (Dept of State)How to expedite NVC receipt of application?

I know the average wait time from when we receive the NOA2 (for K1) to when the NVC receives it is 2 weeks or 15 days... Is there ANY way we can make this wait shorter?

PS: I expedited my NOA2

I don't think there is an expedite option from getting the case to NVC. And, accoridnging to NVC, and everytime I called; they have 15 BUSINESS days to receive a case. I know it's hard to wait but unfortunately that's what you have to do. It was hard for me...as I was calling every day until I received our new case number (See Timeline). I even emailed NVCInquiry@state.gov and scanned a copy of the I-797 approval to NVCResearch@state.gov after my 15 business days were up. I still haven't received an answer from doing this, but nonetheless I have the new case number. So, I suggest, wait a little bit longer, call daily, and if it's still not in their system after 15 BUSINESS days email your scanned I-797 approval.
