You should begin by looking at the Home Office UK Border Agency Website http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/

I want to know of anyone's experience rather than looking in the website.

United KingdomBringing my fiancee to UK
I do not know where to write on forum, because there are too many topics/postings. I do not know where to start.

NOT ONLY UNITED STATES PEOPLE are looking for bring their fiancees or finaces.

It seems I am in the wrong forum, so does it mean i have to close my account now?

United KingdomBringing my fiancee to UK
Hello. My name is Graham and I am from Portsmouth, United Kingdom. My fiancee, Liz is from Bogota, Colombia. We have been together for 6 months now. We got enaged on 16th December in Bogota.

Anyway, I would like to invite her to my country, but I am unsure which visa route will suit her easily.
FIANCE VISA or STUDENT VISA

My fiancee would like to study English in my country and will stay in my country for about 3-6 months before returning to Colombia. She has 3 children and is divorcee, so she has her reason to go back to Colombia.

What about Fiance Visa? Will she be able to come to my country? I will support her when she will be in my country.

We would like to get married when she is in my country, but I do not know much about rules of British Embassy.

Any help and/or advice will appreciate ......
