US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionDenial of immigration visa
The embassy had all the proof we had provied to immgration here in my home city of spokane wedding phones calling cards, about 150 emails. card he had sent me, copies of western union recipt where I sent him money. copies of my two differnt plane tickets I paid for. They interview him under outh and then interviewed me and then interview us in a differnt room and played a game they called the immigration game asking us question about what side of the bed we sleep on the color of the bedding the color of our tooth breshes.

my husband was never given any paper saying he was denied and now they are telling me the case is pending and they have interviewed our family in tunis.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionDenial of immigration visa
My husband had an interveiw at the US embassy in Tunis Tunisa. After the interview we where told that they belive our marrege is only for immigration. and that his visa was denied. A few days later I was told that it was now pending and they where investigating our case. I was wondering if this has happen to anyone. They will not give me a time line or let me know of anymore information they would like from us. So at this point I have writen my congress woman and she is going to make a congressional inqury. I am hoping this will help in some way.

i was told by the head conculer that it was denied and would be sent back to the USA. And when i bushed him for why he got angery and told me he would also no request that the I 130 be revoked. I really dont understand why the send someone out to interview my husbands ants and uncles. The ask alot of question about my husband. They where at the house for like 2 hours and the person did tell them he was form the embassy. I think this hole thing is out of the normal.

I am not milking anythink hope you are not such an ### to you wife or husband. I was told it was denied at the interview and then told two days later it was pending. I was just here looking for anyone that might be having the same problem. As for you posting I hope the hell you are not a ### to everyone on this web site. Everyone eles here has giving me word so of help all but you. This the truth and the embassy can do anything they want to you. The only reason they are investigation is because I send a nasty email to the embassy in Rome who approved our I 130. And Rome sent it to tunis. They now know the messed up in the interview and are back tracking. The did send out some one to interview my husbands family in Tunis. And now all I get it that it is pending with no time line and very little hope that I will get an answer. So Mr. Troll if you cant help me the please keep your mouth shut.

Because I filed at the embassy in tunisia and Rome is the main office for this part of the world. Yes this very hard for both of us. We have been married a year in Sept. and still have not made any headway with this embassy. I am hoping Rome will send it back to tunis they are the office that approved the I 130.

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

This is what the email said!!!!

Your husband's case has been forwarded to the Department of Homeland
Security with a recommendation for a revocation of his petition. We did
receive an inquiry from your congresswoman as well as your attached
letter to her, and we have responded to her office. We have also
received several faxes from friends of your husband.

The timeline of your husband's case is no longer in the hands of US
Embassy Tunis, but in those of the DHS Officer in Charge at US Embassy
Rome. If Rome decides to send the petition back to us your husband will
be issued his visa without much further interviewing. (That is, unless
either your or his situation has changed dramatically.) However, if
they decide to revoke the petition DHS will inform you directly.

You may rest assured that should DHS send us the petition we will
contact your husband immediately.
Sincerely,

Consular Section
U.S. Embassy - Tunis

I received an email today from the embassy in Tunisia that my husband immigration paperwork had been sent back to the Rome Embassy. They are the one that approvied the I 130. I don't really understand what revocation means. and what my legal rights are. :help: :help: :help:
