We just recently got approved on the 22nd and I wanted to know if anyone had an estimated idea on how long it will take for Ciudad Juarez to recieve my petition? I'm guesstimating that my fiance will be here in a little over a month... any suggestions on whether this is a possible statement? I got a touch on the 23rd and I was told that it could possibly mean that they are preparing it to send it to NVC, or that it was sent out to NVC... What do you guys think? I realize there is no interview date necessary for Ciudad Juarez, but I would like to know an estimate because, like everyone else, I am impatient and I want my honey home so we can live our lives together. Based on the appearance that CSC has begun to adjudicate April petitions, it seems as though we could get our NOA2 in the next month. But there are still 30+ people each in March and Febraury (of people who filled out their timeleines on this website) who have not recieved their NOA2's. So if you are not in the first "wave" of April approvals, then it could be any time after that, up to 2 months later. At which point you will want to call and get an update on your case. Good luck!!!!! She told me that if they had sent the entire petition back, the case would show up as rejected. (of course someone could have entered data wrong, or failed to enter data, after all it took them 3 months to tell me that something had been returned to their office). Still hopeful, but not terribly impressed with our government. NOA1 is I-797 NOTICE OF ACTION. Sounds like someone entered the wrong data (returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E))into the database. What a surprise. I'm not impressed either. I really hope that's the case and that you moving right along now. just fyi... was speaking of the address on the personal check not matching the petitioner's home address. I know that it is now a waiting game and I am a very patient man As for Oksana she is a little impatient with the process, but is coming around and is getting a much better idea about the process from reading much at this site. I hope that the pace of the NOA2's being approved picks up very soon so that we can breath normal again and begin our wonderful life together.
