India	Packet 3 question	Hey guys, I was wondering if the K1 process has changed and we don't need to send back packet 3 anymore ( New Delhi embassy ) ? If I am mistaken please let me know what forms need to be mailed in packet 3. I never received packet 3 but only packet 4 which had my interview date. The instructions in packet 4 ask for forms DS 230-1 to be brought to the interview along with other documents/proofs. Any help will be greatly appreciated Best ! India	Hotels in New Delhi near the Embassy..	Greetings.... I would like to know of any good Hotels in New Delhi near the Embassy. I went online and saw some very nice hotels. One of the Hotels were 4.94km the name is Connaught. I will be attending my fiance' interview along with our soon to be 11 month old son. By the time we have the interview, he will be one. I do plan on sightseeing, and eating some good food. Is there anyone out here that could shed some light on your experiences at the Hotels? Prices, neatness, hospitality. He was there for 5 years before me. I was his supervisor. He was a truck driver on base. I only found out about VJ, after I filed. However, if I do get a RFE, I have passport, department of defense contract and phone log. He hasnt told his mom because, she has his money. In fact 25k. Over the six years. She has told him that he did not follow india culture. So with that being said.... Why tell her of the baby. My son last name is Singh, and I have the birth papers. A sizable age difference hurts a couple because that isn't the norm (female>male) but also because with so many years separating you guys, it usually means the woman is experiencing menopause or is at a point in her life were she doesn't want to have anymore children with your new husband . These things to Indians are a big no no and so this is the standard to which you are held. Luckily for you you didn't meet on any 'website' and share a child together. Persons committing marriage fraud (even if 1 party doesn't know the other's intent) will not go through the hassle of having kids because they tend to want a clean cut when they get what they want and leave (prospects of child support/simply having children with the partner they're using simply isn't worth it). Since you have a baby, COs expect (with evidence), before your interview (if baby isn't 2 young), that your fiancée and his family gets to meet and spend quality time with his daughter/son. First of all, I think you did the right steps by contacting the congress. Secondly, I am somewhat nervous because my fiance' is from india, and I am u.s. Citizen. We met in iraq, and I became pregnant. However.. I am 16 years older. I saw on VJ, that they look at age difference. When I submitted my I 29, I did not enclose any proof. So... I am so nervous. I had my baby Feb. 21. I will send the birth certificate showing his last name, which is Singh. Depending on the interviewer, I heard that they dont like india to marry americans. Love is love. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Paying for DS-230	Greetings , I would like to know how to submit the fee for the Form DS-230, It was not required at the National Visa Stage, and my Fiance' has not recieved packet 3 yet... I called the Dept. Of State, and they stated they sent the packet off on the 17th of December. He is in Punjab, India and he has not recieved the packet. But the instructions say you must register at us travel docs, and pay the fee. Could anyone shed some light on what to do? I really thank all for reading my post. Have a great night. It's at the discretion of CO if they want to talk to you. Heck, you may just end up sitting for the whole thing if the case is extremely straight forward and the CO has no questions for you. Ustraveldocs person drove me crazy, she said its issued and to start checking in two days (She like me was checking the Immigrant status on ceac.state.gove). Then my fiance called DOS today and they said it is in Administrative Processing but they were very vague about what would happen now or anything.
