USCIS is resting now....But, they will adjudicate at least 5 approvals next week, and then they will rest again for a while. I think that I've got them all figured out now..... smile.gif

I was hoping that all May filers would all be approved this month....but, now I see it will not happen. So disappointed.... sad.gif The time between petition sent and NOA2 keeps growing larger. About 146 days now average......It may really go to 180 days by the end of this month. I'm still happy to see some approvals!!!!!!

When I first filed...how I wished that I could have filed with VSC...they were so much faster than any other center. But, now it is different there. What is going on there???? They are not approving K-1's or K-3's...Their priorities have changed there???

This long wait is so totally unecessary. Every kind of visa is more important with USCIS than the K1 and the K3. I guess being an American citizen puts most of us at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to approvals from USCIS. mad.gif Funny I thought we were supposed to take care of our own.

You can add another approval to the mix. Because we are in Guangzhou, and it is early morning here, I just now checked to see if we had any further news after our touch on October 1. I found these sweet words:

On October 1, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

While we haven't actively participated in this forum, because Ping and I are very active in another forum, this has been a great place to follow the news and share in your happiness as your approvals arrive.

Ping is sleeping soundly in the bedroom portion of our hotel suite. While I know she will be extremely excited when I tell and show her the news, I am letting her sleep until she awakens on her own. She will appreciate my consideration for her, and the restraint that it takes not to burst through the sliding doors to tell her the news. Then we will book a private room in a nice restaurant, call our family and friends in Guangzhou, buy some bottles of good red wine, and have a celebration this evening.

I wish all of you could join us, and we wish you the best as you continue down this long road. Remember that you have strength because you share a common misery, but you have more strength because you share a common happiness. It may not seem like it now, but that happiness is just around the corner.
