Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNew Fees for Lifting of Conditions
Hi all,
Well its been awhile since we've had to deal with paperwork with USCIS but like everything else the time has come again to jump into the mix. I'm going to start putting together my paperwork for the lifting of conditions for my wife and her boy. I see where they are raising the fees again and I just wanted some clarification on the total I send to them when I mail it out. Would I be sending
545.00 for my wifes lifting of conditions (this includes the biometrics) and then another 80.00 for our boy's biometrics? Or is it 545.00 per person. I will be including him on the I-751 papers as a K-2 child. Thanks for the help. Travis Maria and Andres

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNOA Timline
We recieved our NOA1 in the mail yesterday..... dated 1/7/08..... pretty quick and our case was transferred to the California Service Center. Must be due to the overload at the Nebraska office. Looks like they are working on cases as of June 2007 so we have a wait yet. Next step to get the fingerprinting done for Maria and Andres. Thanks for the help!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNOA Timline
Hello to all... back at this again.. its been a quiet 21 months or so.... Maria and I have just filed (1/3/08) our I- 751 papers with the Nebraska office. Andres the K2 child is also included in the paperwork also. Her conditional card expires 2/16/08 and Andres at a later date. I was wondering what kind of timeline a person can expect in receiving the NOA1 from the Nebraska office. I see where they're 'receipting' times are current and there is no delay as far as recieving the the petitions in their mail room. We've got over a month left before her card expires and would like to have an NOA1 before that 2/16/08 date.. any input would be appreciated..
Thanks again ... smile.gif

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNOA for K2 Children
Just an update on our proceedings.. We recieved a Verification of Inclusion of dependent in the mail today. It stated that Andres is included in Maria's lifting of conditions as a child dependent. He is able to work and travel for one year just like Maria. Looks like they will be able to get both their fingerprints and pics done at the same time. Still waiting for dates though.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNOA for K2 Children
We just recieved our NOA1 for lifting of conditions and when we filed we listed Andres as the K2 child wishing to lift his status too as his approval was within 90 days of Maria's at that time. My question is will he recieve a seaparte N0A1 for himself for the lifting of conditions? The NOA letter only had Maria's name on it as as far as her greencard was extended for another year. When we get our Biometrics appt will Andres be able to get his fingerprinting done at the same time? We dont want to have to make two different trips to do biometrics. Any input on this from those who've had K2 children and had their status lifted. Thanks again..

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEvidence of Joint Occupancy of residence
We rent and have no mortgage and our landowner has really no lease agreement. We 're from small town USA . I included copies of our auto insurance, our IRA's and bank statements along with copies of our taxes for the last two years with our ADDRESS on all papers. Plus we sent abunch of pics and anniversary card along with 2 notarized affadavits..... I believe there was some paperwork even from the local church with our address on it. I think each situation is different and the USCIS must treat each situation differently. Wishing u the best!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics Appointment (2 Questions)
QUOTE (waiting4visas @ Mar 17 2008, 09:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Looking back on our last interview our interview times were a few hours apart, but they took us at the same time. This time it is 4 days apart. I would guess if it's not to busy they will take us both at the same time. Archer, I am wondering who you spoke with about your appointment? I imagine it wasn't the national call center, I doubt they would be much help. Were you able to get a number to speak to an officer at the application support center before arriving or without a infopass?

We had to reschedule one of Maria's earlier biometrics appts. due to bad weather and at that time I called the National Call Center and they gave me the number for the local ASC. At that time I kept that phone number and the name of the IO who does the biometrics. This time I just made a call to the office again and they returned my message and she set things up very nicely for Andres and Maria to have their biometrics done. You should be able to get a contact number for the ASC you are going to get your biometrics. I made no Info Pass appointment but spoke directly to the ASC officer on the phone.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics Appointment (2 Questions)
Maria's and Andres biometrics were on scheduled for separate days... Marias was Friday and they scheduled Andres for the next Monday ....... I talked with the ASC officer by phone and explained the situation to her. She was very cordial and helpful. She was able to squeeze in Andres biometrics the same day as Maria's and actually got them in a couple hours ahead of their scheduled appointment. It went very smooth. If you have to travel a long distance or are under time constraints talk to the ASC officer where your doing your biometrics and maybe they can work with you on your appointment dates and times .. especially when you have children. Doesnt hurt to ask.. Take care....

Our advice to you is to IMMEDIATELY contact your Senator or Congressman from your area and give them the FULL details of your situation and how you've been treated. They have helped us in the past. I hope this is resolved fast and you are approved.... trust me CONTACT YOUR people in Washington DC. Wishing you the best!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionTransfer from NCS to CSC
QUOTE (rick43235 @ Feb 15 2008, 10:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
We sent my wife's I-751 petition to the Nebraska Service Center last week via Priority Mail with tracking. A few days later I checked the progress of the package and saw that it had been delivered to the NCS. This morning, while checking my bank account online, I observed that the $545 check had been paid. But...I noticed that the endorcement on the back of the check read "California Service Center." Does anyone know if all checks to the USCIS for I-751 processing go into the same account? Or was our case transfered to the CSC?

Thanks.

Your case was more in likely transferred to the California Service Center due to the back log at the Nebraska Office. You should be hearing soon about your biometrics and that notice will come from the California office too. Hopefully it moves quickly for you.
