Tuesday 8:00AM- nagpunta kami sa kidney specialist ni baby and we found out na 6.5 lbs na si baby and he is really doing well. The amount of fluid in his kidneys didn't increased. So bale 2 months in a row na hindi nagincrease kicking.gif

Tuesday 9:30PM- I had contraction from 9:30PM - 11:30 PM and the interval is every 10 mins which is not good. I didn't call my OB yet instead we waited another hour to see if the contraction will stop or continue but apparently the interval get closer. Naging 5 mins cya.

Wednesday 12:30AM - We decided to call OB then she told me to go to the hospital na pero I told her if it is possible for me to observe myself pa here at home for another 2 hours because I don't want to go to the hosp then Braxton Hicks lang pla. She said ok and asked me to take a warm bath and lay down in bed but if I am still having contraction then ayun we went straight to Labor and Delivery room na as per advised ng OB.

Wednesday 2AM - I was in labor and delivery room then they attached devices on my belly to monitor on how many contractions I am having and pati yung movement counts ni baby. We don't have probs in regards baby's movement as he moves ALOT most of the time. They admitted me for 2 and half hours for monitoring then they gave me Terbutaline shot to stop the frequent contraction. I was only 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant that day so as much as possible eh they want to prolong the pregnancy. The terbutaline made the contraction stopped so they discharged me at 4:30AM

Wednesday 1:40PM - went to OB for my monthly check-up then they asked me if I ever had contraction again after getting the shot. I said yes, only once since 12PM (time na gumising ako) then 2:10PM while talking to my OB eh may contraction ulit and she touched my belly to feel it then after 20 mins eh another contraction na naman. She decided to admit me again and this time eh over night na to monitor my contraction again kasi 2cm dilated na ako. Again, they attached those devices again on my belly para bilangin ang contraction. They gave me the shot again then nagstop ulit contraction. They decided to discharge me 8PM instead na magover night ako kasi umeepekto yung shot na binigay sa akin. Niresetahan na lang ako ng Terbutaline in a pill form na i-tatake ko everytime na may contraction.

Friday 10AM - Appointment ulit sa OB and this time eh exactly 35 weeks na ako and 4cm dilated na. OB decided na I should stop taking Terbutaline since unstoppable na si baby na lumabas. According to her let my body do the thing na daw.

Hubby and I were so busy this week. Halos everyday na sa doktor kami. Good thing na off ang hubby ko since monday til yester. Mejo natatakot na ako kasi anytime this day or tom or early next week eh mangingitlog na ako.

I hope everything is doing well sa inyong lahat smile.gif

wow pink dami mong pinagdaanan last week. I hope and pray na kumapit pa si baby and wait until atleast your 37 weeks or so.... smile.gif heart.gif

I am wondering if the pinkish discharge should be a concern lalo na pag walang intense contraction afterwards....tapos nawala naman agad yung pinkish baka pina excite lang ako nun kasi I do feel normal na naman maliban sa kunting discomfort sa likud wla namang intense contraction....

gusto ko lang mag share.....

with me b4, 5 days before ako nanganak I also had a pinkish discharge with a very slight contraction that only lasted for less than a minute so I just ignored it. On the early morning of my labor that was the time na pula na yung dugo na lumabas followed by a 10 minutes interval of contractions, so that was the time that I had to call for my OB.

But every women are different so gracey is right, you might have to consult your OB.

HERE'S SOME LATEST PIX OF MY BABY....

I have question bearable ba ang sakit during labor and delivery without epidural?

I didn't have an epidural (it was my choice). My whole labor took almost 12 hrs. (4am-3:51pm). I used to have dysmennorhea every month during my period, I would say the pain is pretty much the same except that when your 7cm to fully dilated, the contractions are longer. But to answer your question...YES IT'S BEARABLE but I think it also depend on your tolerance with pain. just don't forget to breathe in every contraction.

Riza - 15 lbs. na si baby ngayon and he's 3 1/2 months old. Around 3 weeks ago napansin namin that most of the time that we feed him he chew the nipple of his bottle and he drools a lot, his gum seems puffy and he suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night screaming like he's in pain. On sunday we saw a tooth coming out and today there are 2 more. awang-awa talaga ako pag umiiyak sya. right now, we just give him tylenol or orajel for baby.

If you have any suggestion(s) of how to soothe the teething pain is greatly appreciated.

Gracey - I am more active on Facebook too!

About freebies, just go and register on Pampers, Huggies, Similac, Enfamil, Good Start websites. The other day, I got another samples of Huggies' diapers.

Teka comment muna ako sa baby mo before ko explain what is hive---hehehehe. Oy naka smile na sya..kakatuwa naman. Hives is like sort of rashes pero its look like a thousand of mosquito bites and there kinda itchy and bumpy sa skin. I noticed na nagkaka meron ako nito everytime winter is approaching.

But ever since na dumating kami sa house daddy nya lagi taga palit ng diaper..natatakot kasi ako gawa ng circumsistion (not sure with my spelling). I think he is more excited than me.

Some update with my baby. We were in the hospital yesterday for his 2 days after delivery check-up..meron syang mild jaundice pero di naman kailangan i-treat. I tried to breastfeed also kaso wala masyadong lumabas so we alternate some formula. Medyo sumasakit yong dede ko kasi kahit he tried to latch on di pa rin sya contented kaya tumitigas.

I guess yong benefit ng exercise is after you give birth is madali kang bumalik sa normal shape but not on your delivery.

my baby had a jaundice too when he was born due to the reason that we have different blood type. We had to had him poop right away to release the bilirubin out from his system but the problem was he just started to learn to latch on and couldn't get enough milk as much as his body needed so we ended up giviing him bottle. But he got used to the bottle that he didn't want to latch on my breast anymore.

You're right about the crying clues.

I've read a lot of articles and his pedia said too that new born baby doesn't know the concept of "being spoiled" yet until the age of 9-10 months old. At this early stage of life kailangan quick ang response natin sa mga iyak nila cause that will promote a stable and secure feeling on their environment. At paghinahayan mo na umiiyak si baby for a longer period of time mas lalong gassy sya kasi marami syang ma i-intake na hangin. BTW, yung father and mother in law ko ang nagbabantay sa kanya pag nasa work ako kasi mahal yung day care at saka kampanti ako na mas nababantayan sya at napapakain sa tamang oras.

By the ways, may mga bisaya ba dito? taga CEBU ako.

2 weeks ago yung recent visit namin sa pedia and he weighed 13.1 lbs. He's turning 11 weeks old next week. malakas kumain baby ko. Before I tried to to follow 2-3 hours interval for feeding but sometimes he still cries for more in between of those feeding time. And his pedia said that I shouldn't be conscious with the interval hours of feeding but to go with his hint and cries instead. For the first 3 weeks ang hirap i-distinguish the difference between hunger from the "he's" tired or not feeling well cry, but as I go along parang ang dali nalang ng response every time he needs something.

After 2 weeks I tried bottle and breast feeding but I had to go back to work right away and no much time to pump kaya ang ending bottle feeding nalang sya. RIZA- nung 2 weeks old baby ko nagka mild acne sya pero walang eczema. the pediatrician explained it to us na normal lang naman yun sa mga new born babies kasi magkadugtong pusod natin sa kanila nung nasa tummy palang natin sila and we pass on to them all our hormones like estrogen into their blood stream for the meantime pero nawawala rin yun kaagad.

Princess- oo nga bilis lumaki ng baby ko kaya I don't want to miss anything. ngayon he started making different sounds like cooo, mmmm, ahhh. He was 6.7 lbs. when he was born ngayon he's 13.2 lbs. He's on a bottle feed with Enfamil Premium Lipil kasi wala akong masyadong gatas and I had to go back to work right away.

But now that he's 2 months and 13 lbs. na straight na yung tulog nya usually from 9pm-5am. Sometimes the only time he cries if his diaper is full then after changing tulog kaagad ulit.

hello sa lahat ng preggy and moms dito! Im back now, i gave birth last July 13 @ 3:02 PM, bouncing baby boy! 3AM pa lang nag start na contraction ko, but i ignored kc yong interval hindi masyadong close, but starting 6 AM medyo tumindi na ang pain but still bearable pa at every 5 minutes yong interval ng pain so me and my hubby decided to go to the hospital. we arrived at 9 AM and 4cm dilated na ako, but still my doctor says i have to walk for an hour and will check back again.. So naglakad-lakad kami ng asawa ko for about 30 minutes and yong pain hindi ko na kaya, both of my thigh masakit at medyo nagna-numb at ang pressure super. so nurse/midwife check me again and i was 6cm na so they decided me to stay in the hospital, i was anticipating of having a natural labor since this is my second baby, pero di ko nakayanan so i asked for epidural and it helps a lot. I took a shower the day after same thing what i did when i had my first baby, so far so good everything is fine now wala akong ibang pain na nararamdaman aside from the episiotomy i had.

Congratulations! Wow our sons have same birthday and the time is close enough too. I had mine at 3:51pm.

bmtrrbt, you asked about why my baby don't wear gloves....I clipped his finger nails on the 3rd day after his birth. Me and my husband both agreed of using no pacifier either..it work so far.

I had an episiotomy kaya medyo mahirap pa ang paglakad. Most of the nights my hubby take his turn of getting up every other 2 hours to feed him.

hi all! Today's my birthday, July 15 and we just came all the way straight from the hospital since Monday. A big birthday package came 2 days before my birthday! I GAVE BIRTH TO A 6 lbs. 7 ounces healthy baby boy!!! kicking.gif

Monday at 4 am, I woke up to pee, when I wipe my self off there was a pinkish spotting colored on the tissue paper and as soon as I went back to bed I felt contractions and it continues every other 25 minutes. We went to the hospital at 6am and I was already 2 cm dilated and 100% effaced. I was already leaking some water before I went to shower that morning. Labor started to progress around 8am and contractions was getting stronger. I stick to my plan of not having epidural but they gave me a pain medication to help me relaxed and fall asleep. Around 1:30pm I was already 8 cm dilated and it didn't take long before the pushing started. At 3:51 pm I had my boy! Though he is only 37 weeks and 4 days, he's doing perfectly fine.

hahaha panget ko dito....

home finally...

Hello to all mom to be

I am on my 9th week of pregnancy, going on 10th week this week. I have a hard time with this first trimister stage. I have had a rough time, sometimes I feel like giving up. To me it's just hard. Morning sickness? name it and I am experiencing all of those. I always feel nausea with vomiting consistently, as in everyday. More like 4-5 times a day. As soon as something hits my stomach, I throw it all back up. I feel so terrible. I was even confined for 3 days in the hospital because of continuous vomiting. I was dehydrated and had bladder infection. It was terrible but I am fighting for it. I'm out in the hospital now and recovering. I am very sensitive on the things I smell. It makes me nauseous and throw up. I feel very lazy. All I do is lay in bed the whole day which is not healthy but I always do an effort to force myself getting up once in a while. I always have a problem with the food I'm eating. At one point I want this food and as soon as it's in front of me, I don't like it anymore. I am very emotional. I take things seriously. I hate it when somebody tells me what to do, especially my mother in law who's been a pain in the ####..lol.. Maybe she doesn't understand what I am going through. She's been there but every pregnancy is different from the other. But anyways, I had a good report on my last Doctors visit and I am trying to maintain that. Hopefully all this things I am experiencing is normal and will pass through this first trimister. I am excited to get through with my first trimister.

sorry if you have to go through all these. Am not much of a help kasi nung 1st trimester ko feeling ko nga parang d ako buntis. You'll just have to tough it out for the sake of your baby.

As for the stretch mark,,,didn't get any until last month when my tummy starts to drop. Way back before I was pregnant, everyday after shower I always put lotion all over my body and applied cocoa butter when I found out I was preggo but still had few of it on my lower abdomen. Like I said I was too skinny before and only weighs 85lbs and last week on my OB's appt. I was 131 lbs. I have gained 46 lbs. already blink.gif They said it shoud be a gradual weight gain and not rigorous so our skin have time to adjust the growth of our uterus and 8-10 glasses of water or more to hydrate our body and skin. Pero wala kasi akong pakialam lamon lang ng lamon specially during my last trimester palagi akong gutom. headbonk.gif

gusto ng hubby ko sa bed lang namin patulugin ang baby since malaki naman bed namin kasi gusto niya katabi niya ang baby namin...since first baby namin at nya to...kaya gusto niya maging close talaga ang baby, he even told me he wants to sleep with our kids forever sabi ko naman its impossible hehhehehhehe...since magalaw akong matulog i cant sleep beside our baby..the baby will only be on my hubby's side...

before when i was sleeping with my brother when they were still babies...kasi may work mama ko that time and minsan gabi na kung makauwi...then yun ginising nya ako kasi yung paa ko na sa ulo na ng brother ko hehehhehe..

di rin kami bibili ng maraming clothes kasi sasanayin namin ang baby na naka diaper lang sa bahay...me and my hubby are very practical...we dont want so many things that in the end di naman talaga kailangan.

lol...actually I just took pictures of the side where the crib is. The other side of the room was nothing but another chest drawer and king size bed. And the baby's room is right next to ours so it's very convenient.

Congr. to all pregnant women.I'm not pregnant yet ;but my hubby and I have been trying to concieve although we are still going tru the process .

For those of you who got pregnant ,I'd like to hear some suggestions to boost my fertility....I had a miscarriage when I was four months preg. five months ago...since then can't wait to get pregnant again for a healthy baby...

pls share with me if you have any suggestion to boost my fertiliy or to get pregnant quickly

I'm sorry for the loss of your first pregnancy. Don't have much advice to give but maybe not to pressure your self too much and just enjoy with each other. Me and my husband never ever use any contraceptions but it took us 1 year and 2 months before we hit the jackpot, so I think it'll just come when it's the right time and your body is ready.

Maybe you can read some of these articles and hope it will help..

It's economically wise to buy a convertible crib ( can be converted to toddler and full size bed later on). We got ours for $299 but it's worth every single penny cause it's sturdy and nice plus it was on sale when we bought it at JC Penny. Sometimes it's also good to wait for stores to be on sale before getting crazy to buy baby stuff.

Just want to share...

I still feel blessed and thankful kasi ok si baby ko after the accident last Thursday. I fell flat on my tummy, hit the gravel ground tummy first last thursday while walking the dog for the last time before going to work. My baby Frosty saw something that he chased while i was holding the leash and he dragged me to the ground. Ended up in the hospital for more than 24 hours. After ultrasound showed that everything is normal, as far as they can see, they have finally decided to discharge me though i'm still having continuous contractions. Now, after the fall, i still feel bad contractions... I feel that it's not the same as before I was feeling before the accident. I know contractions are normal esp the last trimester, but i think the accident triggered more contractions for me now.

ang sakit mga lola... I just want to share this because I want all mommies to take precautionary measures. I don't want this to happen to any of you. I know dito sa US, wala naman tayong maasahan as far as the things we need to get done is concerned <chores>, at as much as we would like to take care of it all, now that we are pregnant we need to insist and get our husbands to do the physical work for us, that are safe both to us and our baby.

that's why it's not advisable as far as what my OB said and some articles that I read about pregnancy, to stay away from walking the dog yourself (specially if it's a big one). The bigger we get during pregnancy the clumsier we become and more prone to accident like falling down.

Be careful in everything you do and always take precautionary actions. Better be safe than sorry.

hi there..pa join.....hehehehe..im 19 weeks pregnant now and i can also feel my baby moving as early as 17 weeks..malaki siguro lakas ko kumain ng kainin eh....sa dami ng pag lilihihan kanin pa...hehehe..

anyways...some questions lang po....is it normal to have brown discharge? once in a while kc im having brown discharge but no cramping or anything..no itchiness or burning sensation....

syempre pag first baby nakaka kaba talaga....sabi ni doc dont worry to much...it might be because my uterus is streching..and brown discharge menas old blood but still sometimes di ko maiwasang mag worry....

anyone whos having the same experience?

thanks...

hi there! I also used to have a brown discharge a couple of times during my first trimester. For as long as no cramping/contractions or heavy bleeding (signs of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy), and your doctor told you that it's not something that you have to worry about, plus if all your tests and ultrasound turns out to be fine, then just relax and don't stress yourself. The best thing you can do is to listen to your body and don't hesitate to ask or call your OB for questions.

Hello mommies!!

Frustrated here... I had my first day yesterday! Gosh I've been here for almost a year and haven't been pregnant yet. I'm getting annoyed thinking I'm turning 30 this year and still wala pang baby... huhuhu! Oh well.. my time is yet to come I guess...

Bless you all mommies to be...

Vida Taylor

don't stress yourself too much it'll come when you expect the least. I'm turning 31 this July 15, two weeks before my due date. Ang saya siguro pag nanganak ako on the day of my birthday. idea9dv.gif
