USCIS Service Centers	Do you know how to connect to USCIS live operator?	I submitted I-751 and already received an ASC appointment notice. However, I cannot make the appointment date, which is May 25th 2010. I'm currently outside of the U.S. I'd like to change the date, so I called 1-800-375-5283. Even though I called between their office hours (8am-6pm), I cannot connect to live operators. Does anybody know how to connect to a live operator? There is not time limit to AP so all you can do now is pray and hope that your name or travel history doesn't raise any flags. That is all you can do at this stage. I'm a female from Pakistan and I was placed on AP for more than 2 months which is actually a short time for AP. As the US Citizen, am I one that provides the information or is it info on my Hubby, the Beneficiary. I have found the forms and want to be ready once I proceed with contacting them. Also, is there a certain time frame that we must wait before I contact them? We had our interview in March of this year and was placed in AP. But the hard part for me is that I really want to go see him since I haven't seen him in almost a year. We don't want to waste the money doing that when he could get out of AP any day. If they kept it then chances are it should be done within 3 - 6 months. Also what do you think is the reason for AP, do they want to do more checks on your ? were the financial support documents good ? Anything to do with her profession you think ? Has she lived in US before or either have you been married before ? There are all sorts of checks they want to - but depending on the case they go for different ones. I am getting mentally prepared for it. I am so sick of this AP thing. I hope you get to hear good news very soon !! What did the ask at the interview ? I logged into the automated phone system at the NVC and they said that our number was MTL2010..blah blah. So, is this what an NVC # would start with? US Citizenship General Discussion	n-400 interview	my appointment was at 11:45am and i got there at 11. went through the security check as everyone did. i handed in my paper at the window and alott of ppl were being interviewed that day. i was called in around 12:30. it was a young guy in his late 20's early 30's who interviewed me. he asked me to swear an oath b4 sitting down (swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth blah blah). so he basically went through every single question that was on my application. everything was straight forward so i had nothing to worry about. he asked me my name, social, if i want to change my name, my visits to other countries, addresses where i have lived, schools i've attended(i didn;t list my high school which i attended in 2001-2005 so he wrote that by hand and asked me sign besides it), places i've worked, my marriage date (asked me for marriage certificate thank god i took it with me even though they didnt require it)he even asked me all the yes/no questions at the end of app. asked me 6 history questions: who is chief justice? who becomes president if president/vice president can no longer serve? when do we celebrate indep. day? how many justices are there in supreme court? can't remember the other 2. i read 1 out of 3 sentences (when is Columbus day?)then sign that paper he asked me to write Columbus day is celebrated in October then sign that paper he went and made copies of my marriage certificate. and handed me the paper that i passed and i asked him that i'll wait and take the oath letter the same day. so i was escorted to another room (alot of ppl were waiting to get the l8r) waited for like 2 hours got the letter and was schedule an oath after a month hi good to know that we are both in same boat i also married in sep and file i-130 in 0ctober 16th 2010. so keep in touch and can u please tell do u have lawyer or you file your self.	sunny29	Male	Pakistan	2010-04-01 14:25:00

US Citizenship General Discussion	Oath letter not hear yet snif	Hi guys, I had my interview Apr 12 in Jacksonville FL, passed and got the form recommended for approval but after 6 weeks no oath ceremony letter yet, I know it can take up to 90 days but still i hate the wait some others get it the same day or a week later, I know in my town Gainesville Fl there is an Oath ceremony June 24th (I read it from another forum member) wonder why haven’t got the letter yet and also why they didn’t give me the choice to take the Oath in Jacksonville May 20, is a 2 hr drive for me but I would have taken it, I am just frustrated and I know we all in the same struggle for one thing or the other. I tried to call the 800 number just to know if I am schedule for the 24th but they would not tell me, they said I need to wait 90 days, it has been 6 weeks so 3 more weeks! to be able to ask, should i get an infopass? or they won’t tell me anyway? if it is before the 90 days, I really would like to know my brother is having a baby in August and would like to be there, please share hi my brother just wait.... US Citizenship General Discussion	A couple of question about my case	Hi there, I just registered on this forum as I have a couple of questions pertaining to my case for naturalization. 1) I did my biometrics yesterday and accidentally told the guy at the window verifying my information the wrong apartment number (it was right on the biometrics letter). He said that I needed to file an AR11 to change my address, but when I got outside, I did in fact notice that the letter had the right apartment number. Did I accidentally change my mailing address and do I need to file an AR11 to get my address back to what it is on the biometrics appointment letter? 2) I see the case status on the internet that they sent an RFE on May 6th, but never got anything until now (1 month). I did however get the biometrics letter in the mail and did my biometrics yesterday. Is this a mistake? Do I need to make an INFOPASS appointment? 3) What is the usual waiting time after the biometrics before I get the interview letter?
