Mexico, Latin & South AmericaQuestions about getting K1 visa in Ciudad Juarez...
your question are confusing but lets see if i can help.

i live in california and my girlfreind is from mexicali. i filed the paperwork for her and we went to jaurez for her interviews.

the medical exam and interview at the embassy is on a first come first serve for k-1's. you show up with your paper work and get in line.

you need one day for the medical and another for the interview.

we spend the weekend in jaurez and she did the medical early in the morning on monday and the next day she got in line at the embassy.

the line at the embassy is very very long.

the interview is very short and once you get the building you may be setting for hours.

it took my fiance and her son about 5 hours for the interview.

i was her sponser and future husband---so i filed the support papers. i dont know what the form numbers were.

Mexico, Latin & South AmericaJuarez to El Paso

We are considering a trip to a restaraunt in El Paso from Juarez, my fiancee has a B1/B2 VISA. Does anyone have any experiences in crossing while their K1 application was being reviewed? Will it affect the process in any way?

I assume all we have to do is show evidence of returning to Mexico, which we can do with her plane tickets.

my wife lived in mexicali during the process and she crossed the border many, many times during the process on her b1/b2 visa.

does your wife have a lazer visa ?

Mexico, Latin & South AmericaPOE by bus/car Mexico/US border

at el paso--they deal with fiance visa everday.

my fiancee and did all our stuff in jauraz and got the hell out of there, at the border. the officer took the paper work and walked my novia to the main office.

he directed me to some parking on the usa side of the border, p parked and i walked back to wait with beatriz.

the took her lazer visa/ her b1b2 visa out of her passport and stamped her new k1 visa that she had got at the embassy.(we had to give sealed envelope to agent)

she had to pay for a new 1-94 entry record.

pay for i-94? never heard of it.....why?

if you live by the border---you always pay for the i-94
you get one every 6 months if you have a vistor/business vias(b1b2)

i had to pay for my fiance and her son--6 dollars each in el paso for the new 1-94 for thier passports.
