Hello callmekay,

Can I have a question relates to k1 visa because I just read and I have the same situation with you.

My fiancé had the interview on 5/9 and the US consular asked him to provide my ex-husban current information....

Would you share your experience? Did you provide your ex-husband current address?? How could you get the info?

If you don't mind, could you share with me what format did you use to support the evidences?

Thank you so much in advanced   :)

VietnamInterview 5/9/14 - Blue slip

Can I send it to you tomorrow? I was using Latex to create document without using Microsoft. It will be difficult for you to use Latex if you were not familiar with it.

Ok. That's fine! Thank you so much!

VietnamInterview 5/9/14 - Blue slip

You dont need to include "Cong Hoa..", I was putting " case number, petitioner and benificiary name and dob on the left top corner. I wrote " LIST OF ADDRESSES " in the middle of paper.

That relationship forms are given by Consulate and I do make my own form for that too. I made it the same as their format since they gave it to my fiancee. I dont want to wait for her to send it to US and then fill in, and send it back to Vi?t Nam!.

For the timeline, make sure you put the sworn statement and notarize.

If you don't mind. Would you please send me the Family Relationship, and 10 years residences forms that you make by your own (you can delete all your infomation) just send me the blank forms only, please!.

my email: tinh.tran1@yahoo.com

Because my fiancé have not gotten the Family Relationship form, but I want to make sure that I have everything to summit once, so I don't wait my time to go back and forth.

We are so sad, worried, and frustrated.

Thank you so much for your help!

Yes, your fiance needs to write in Vietnamese and the person who works at Department pf Justice will translate to English and notarize.

Look at my timeline to see what they might ask you next time if they give you second blue slip. I hope they will approve it when your fiance submits it.

I was using DHL to send the document to Vietnam because they are fast (2 -3 business days to HCMC for 50 dollar). Please dont use USPS Express mail, this is sucked service.

Thank you so so much for your help! :)

The statement in Vietnamese. Do we need to state "Cong Hoa Xa Hoi Chu Nghia Viet Nam"

I just read through your timeline and I saw they requested you and your fiancé filled the Family relationship form.

What is that about? Is there any where we can download that form?

Again, thank you so much for remind me. I need to get my timeline relationship get notarized since I already summited the timeline without notary.

Sorry for asking too much! :(

Much appreciated!

They asked me the same thing. I put the statement for SWORN likes this " I, FULL NAME, hereby undertake the above contents of this document are true and correct. I shall take the full legal responsibility under the law for any fraudulent information" on the bottom of your document.

You can notarize at your bank or UPS store. Your fiance can notarize at Department of Justice in her city.

The format is your choice and you must provide enough information as they required like name, dob, relationship, etc.

Thank you so much for your quick response.

So my fiancé need to write the statement in Vietnamese and take to the Department of Justice for translation and notary?

Thank you!

VietnamInterview 5/9/14 - Blue slip

Hi everyone,

My fiancé had and interview on May 9 2014 got blue slip :(

Here are the additional information they requested

Petitioner & Beneficiary: In an original signed, sworn, notarized statement, please list your current residential address and telephone # (include all residences for the past ten years, beginning and end date of the time period at each residence, and full name, DOB of each person residing with you at each address, along with description of your relationship with the person (cousin, spouse).

My question are:

- Can I go to the bank here in the US so the bank officer can notary?

- And where can my fiancé get notarized his statement?

If anyone has come across this situation, would you please share you format (sample statements)? That would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsK1- When do I file DS160 and pay visa fee?? Please help!!!

Call the NVC to see if they have received your file and/or sent it to the consulate yet. They can provide you with that info and your case #.

These are the instructions for your country > http://photos.state....INSTRUCTION.pdf

And a FAQ about the process > http://hochiminh.usc...a-services.html

Thank you so much for your reply and giving me such a useful information.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 VISA - What's next when I receive NoA2

No, K1s do not have to submit anything to the NVC. Only those who are applying for spousal visas need to do that.

Those documents pertaining to the beneficiary should be submitted to the embassy during the interview.

Thank you so much!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 VISA - What's next when I receive NoA2

Hi everyone,

I am waiting for NoA2, I hope I will receive it in the next 2 weeks if there is no delay :)

(I already read the K1 guide - What to send to your fiancé once the I-129F is approved (Receive NoA2)

I would like to have some questions:

After we get Noa2 from USCIS, do we need to send any documents of beneficiary to Nationval Visa Center, such as:

1. Birth certificate, police record, marital status....

2. Form I-134 and statement from banker, letter from employer...

Thank you so much in advanced!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1- Interview last week - Asked ex-spouse current address

Hi Everyone!

My Fiance had an interview last week, and we need to provide more information about my ex-spouse.

Here is the request:

Petitioner:

In an original signed, sworn, notarized statement, please provide the full name, current address, current home landline telephone number, and date and place of birth of your ex-spouse(s). Please provide evidence of his or her current address. Also, please indicate when your ex-spouse(s) immigrated to the United States. Did he or she immigrate with you? Did someone sponsor him or her? If so, what is the sponsor's name? Did he or she come to the United States as a refugee? If so, please indicate when he or she left Vietnam, through what camp he or she immigrated.

Honestly, my ex-husband & I lost contact with each other when we divorced.

My ex-husband is Vietnamese. He came to the US in 2001 and sponsored me.

He came back to VN to open a company when we separated 2011.

The only address that I have is on the Divorce Decree (his address in VN).

Now, I dont know how to obtain his current address.

Does anyone know how to handle this situation?

Thank you so much!
