It only means internal processing has been done on your case If you have filed in Cal, then you will wait around 2-4 months for the application approval.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	USCIS Case Status	So now that we have received our NOA2 and I have graduated from obsessive compulsive checking the USCIS online case status numerous times a day (and am now checking DHL courier site in the same way), should I just delete the petition on the USCIS site? Is there any reason to keep it up there? What has everyone else done? I just received NOA2 in e-mail and waiting for snailmail confirmation. How can I check progress now by DHL courier.? Thanks. jordoc You track your case by dhl.com once your case leaves the NVC. I'm just worried because we haven't heard back since, and I'm trying to figure out if we might have done something wrong. It's driving me crazy Even if you guys did do something wrong, that wouldn't prevent getting the noa1. My timeline shows my check being cashed on March 1 because that's the date stamped on the back, but it's the day Vermont deposited it. The money didn't come out of my bank account until March 7. Your check could be cashed right now and you just don't know it. Same here! I got the cashed date off the back of the check, but the check cleared in my account some time later. Once I had the check to view, I could log on and see the recieved date for CSC, mailed date from CSC, etc. From this data, I went back and fixed my timeline for accuracy. Now if the postman would only deliver NOA1 PS How do I display our picture when I post? You mean in your signature? I'd like to display our picture right above Newbie. This would be Gold Member in your case--where you have the book... Thanks! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Only 4 days of meeting physically!	So I started communicting with my fiancee via email in July. On September 6th 2006 she agreed to court me or be my girlfriend. We started communicating by phone (I've spent anywhere from $200 to $400 a month in calling card expenses!). We fell in love to say the least. I was able to meet her in Feb 2007. On the third day after spending time with her and her family and getting along with everyone, I got her parents' blessing to propose to her, and I proposed to her. But again, we've only had 4 days actual contact in person. I plan to spend three weeks with her in July. I want to start the K-1 process now, though. Should I go through it even though we havent spent more than 4 days in person together, I mean, for the sake of the application. Or, should I be okay b the Embassy's standards given that the interview with her would be after we see each other again in July? On the I-129 petition, our circumstances of meeting, aside from the non-physical contact over the past 8 months, will only be 4 days of physical contact. Is that grounds for dismissal of the petition, or do you think it will go through and the interview will be another story? My worst fear was that the package would get sent back as incomplete or something ... I can't imagine they cash your check anyway. So now the longer wait begins... Thanks for listening.
