Hi guys, have had a couple of busy days here. Just want to update you on whats happening. Well, the NVC forwarded my 129f to the embassy, in London NLR, as i live in N. Ireland. At the same time I received an email from them telling me to fill in the ds160 form online. The email also included my case no. LND2014XXXXXX also my case no from USCIS MSCXXXXXXXXXX. 2 weeks later I got an email from the US embassy in London confirming they had received the packet and for me to fill out ds160, already done, and to schedule my medical appointment at Knightsbridge Doctors in London. Did that yesterday, appointment made for Friday 28th March at 3 10 pm. I then had to send the online form Notification of Readiness when everything was in order. So now I have to wait for my interview which will be scheduled by the embassy when they receive the medical results, usually 4 days after examination takes place. So everything moving along nicely. Not sure if I pay the fees before the interview or if i pay them at the embassy. will check that out right now. So everything moving along nicely. Will keep you posted as theres a lot of misinformation out there about the K3 Visa. Good luck everyone!

What did you answer on the question on form DS 160:

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

Because you said you submitted and after you made a appointment for medical appointment?

Good news. This information is so useful for me, so i will need to wait Embassy to inform me that they received the package and they will tell me when to go on medical examination. Thank youuu endlessly, because there is a question about medical examination in form DS 160 and i'm stuck what to do.

You cannot normally book medicals until after a P4 letter.

Thank you, I thought so, but it was written in the letter from NVC... In the meantime, please have your spouse visit ceac.state.gov and complete Form DS160 to apply for a K Visa. And in the form there is a question about medical. That confuse us.

This is only my opinion... But go ahead and pursue the K3 unless you want to wait another 3 months for your I-130 to be processed .. You can have Visa in hand and be in the US before NVC gets around to your I-130.

Yes, yes, I know, that's our plan too but in the letter from NVC is written please inform your wife to file on line form DS160, and i started because you can save it and finished later, but there is a question about medical examination which i still did't done, because we wait a letter from Embassy first.

That is my question, Embassy will inform me? or should i go on that examination? and also will i have a interview because my husband want to come?

We're confused i just want some hint from Embassy, please ))

On march 4 my husband received letter from NVC that our approved K3 is sent to Embassy in Skopje. It written to submit on line form DS 160, but about medical examination. I don't know should i wait Embassy to inform me or should I go to medical?

Got an email from embassy this morning telling me they are ready to process our k3 visa and they have sent a letter out with instructions. Mharvian, did you have to pay the $240 fee at the embassy? Just waiting on the letter which I might receive tomorrow, it was only sent out today. Have everything ready. So excited.

i paid $240 but not in the embassy.. i paid it on a bank then showed them the receipt on my interview.. you need it before you can schedule an interview appointment.

Have you informed them that you already have your K3? Because you should be adjusting your status not continuing processing for the CR1 visa which would require an interview abroad. Granted with a K3 you have multiple entries but the point was to get to the USA faster was it not?

did you also get a letter from nvc saying that they are ready to process you immigrant petition and that you have to pay for AOS? just like you, i am on k3 path. nvc sent me a letter saying that they already forwarded my i-129f papers to the us embassy in manila. that was dated january 28. we already filled up and submitted the form ds-160. now, i am confused as to which one to follow up.

im going to enter US with my k3 visa.. just this week march 3, NVC sent me a mail regarding my immigrant visa. they ask me to fill up ds-261 choice af agent.. after completing the form they sent another mail saying they are now ready to process my immigrant visa after paying the AOS.

Im so happy to see this post because I am praying for our K-3 to get through.

My I-130 was approved first in USCIS. We always call NVC to get a case number but they keep on sying that it is not yet on their system.. until one day when my hubby called NVC they told him that they still dont have the I-130 but they do have the 129F on their system.. Few days later he called again and then told him that the case was already forwarded to my consulate.. Almost a month, i receiived a letter from the US embassy saying im eligible for medical and interview.

Received letter from NVC to chose an Agent

If you have that letter you are on the CR1 path now, not the K3.

The agent, should be the petitioner since they have a US address, even though the NVC communicates through Email.

I suggest going to this post, reading the first two posts of the thread and any questions you can ask, after reading those first two posts and the links, can be asked there..

Received letter from NVC to chose an Agent

Hi everybody, Just received a letter from NVC to get in touch with the NVC by filing Form D-261 online choice of address, and agent.

I just wanted to ask, what if the beneficiary was made the agent instead of the USC? What does has the agent (beneficiary) has to do then?

its been more than 13 months now and we are still waiting for noa2. we tried everytthing. our application is in atlanta field office. the uscis is saying they are doing background check of beneficiary. are they really working on our case or simply wasting everyones time and life

our attorney is saying she can do infopass and find out about our case is it worth paying 300$ for her

Sandynfrancis: Don't bother with the i -129F just go the route of the i-130. It takes about 10 months for the entire process from initial filing to interview date in Montreal. Just be patient. We decided to just let the system take its course and not try to rush anything. It can be frustrating at times but just ride it out. I found many people on here were calling every day etc. Once it gets through the first screening and moves to the NVC it goes much faster. The 1-129F/K3 is a waste of time and money according to most on this site. We didn't hire a lawyer either.

What part of KC are you moving to? KC MO or KC K?

HAVE YOU CALLED THE NVC AND ASKED THEM ABOUT THAT? MY BOTH I-129 AND I-130 APRROVED AND RIGHT NOW BOTH AT NVC, I WOULD LIKE TO GO FOR I-129 SINCE IT IS FASTER, DID THE EMBASSY CONTACTED YOU TO MAKE THE INTERVIEW?

I called NVC and told them that I also have another pending application (129) that is in the US embassy in Manila right now. They asked me if I already called the embassy to see whether they will still continue to process it. I told them I haven't called them yet. Maybe I will just go ahead and pay the visa fee for 130 (which is $230 now) and call the embassy in Manila to cancel our application there. Either way, my wife can only process her paper works once she gets back to Manila. So I guess, the 130 route is better since we won't have to adjust my wife's status once she gets here. Thoughts?

Hello guys. I hope everything is fine with everybody. As of now, both our 130 and 129 are pending, till I pay the corresponding visa fees. Our 130 is at NVC while our 129 is at the US Embassy in Manila. Which one should we pursue? My wife is currently in Dubai right now, working, but she will be going back to the Philippines at the end of her contract on July. Right now, our next step is to pay the visa application fee.

I'm using Chrome and it doesn't work, even tried it with IE. It can't be the broadband connection since it refuse the request right away. Maybe they messed up something with their access control by regions or something.... But, it's Saturday so I don't expect any updates on my case

I applied for a k3 visa..recieved the 1st noa for the 2 forms..
on feb 18th my i129f form was approved..the uscis site says its on the 'post decision activity'..but my i130 is still on the 'initial review' stage..
So nvc recieved my i129f before my i130..does this mean my k3 has been approved? What is the next step? Do I have to wait for my i130 to get approved as well?
