The Atlanta office is known for being slow. You need to take control over your application. Save yourself $300 and conduct the info pass appointment yourself. Spend some time reading on VJ and educate yourself. I don't have anything against lawyers (I used one because of a special circumstance) but I would ask you to consider what your lawyer has done for you, if they waited until month 13 to suggest an info pass appointment.

How about receipts of things couples do? Dinners, fun activities like bowling for example.. How about phone records? Hand written letters or cards? Package slips from gifts sent to each other? Video chat records?

There gotta be more than emails and western union receipts as a married couple. That seems awful little.

this is very strange, I thought perhaps it is old data I am getting, so I turned off my computer, rebooted, put in my id number and it is still taking me to the page where it says my visa has been issued. cant be old data if I had restarted my computer. Restarting a computer doesn't do anything to make a web site come up that's down!

It's down - has been most of the day. Doesn't matter what you do - it's not going to come up until they get it back online.

I am not getting into the politics of it all. My page is up, now if it''s reloading old data fair enough, I'm hearing trying to help people. My friend on here restarted her computer last week and it worked for her. Sheez sometimes trying to help people seems to backfire. With that I take my leave!!

If it's loading the main page and there is no error code then perhaps it's to do with the speed or connection of your broadband?!?! Not an expert with computers, all I can say that twice I have tried it and twice it has bought up my status. I did see a comment from someone in the USA saying that it was down, so no idea why mine seems to be working and others are not!

And yes you can file a 129F even if you're married. It should really be called a fiance and spouse visa.

I am filing an I 129F for my wife. We already have our receipt of application from the I 130. We are just slightly confused as the form is all based on a fiancé and the instruction form is all related to a fiancé too. So confused as to what info we actually have to include in the pack

Both live in UK now, I am a US citizen from birth, been married for almost 6 years, have 2 children who already have their US passports. We are wanting to move to the US permanently and ASAP

The approved 129 is forwarded by the NVC to your embassy to process. More expensive, yes, but faster, well, we'll see how fast my case goes through. Medical next week, have no idea how long it will take for them to schedule an interview after they get results from clinic.

Yes, NLR is correct. Although technically, by the time you go for your interview you will have the medical done, so you will have proof.

Hi guys, have had a couple of busy days here. Just want to update you on whats happening. Well, the NVC forwarded my 129f to the embassy, in London NLR, as i live in N. Ireland. At the same time I received an email from them telling me to fill in the ds160 form online. The email also included my case no. LND2014XXXXXX also my case no from USCIS MSCXXXXXXXXXX. 2 weeks later I got an email from the US embassy in London confirming they had received the packet and for me to fill out ds160, already done, and to schedule my medical appointment at Knightsbridge Doctors in London. Did that yesterday, appointment made for Friday 28th March at 3 10 pm. I then had to send the online form Notification of Readiness when everything was in order. So now I have to wait for my interview which will be scheduled by the embassy when they receive the medical results, usually 4 days after examination takes place. So everything moving along nicely. Not sure if I pay the fees before the interview or if i pay them at the embassy. will check that out right now. So everything moving along nicely. Will keep you posted as theres a lot of misinformation out there about the K3 Visa. Good luck everyone!

Hi guys, have had a few busy days, my brother was in hospital. But everything ok, thank God. No letter yet but I can do everything online. Have already filled in ds160, am calling medical centre on Monday to schedule appointment and can then fill in letter of readiness online . Have everything ready, police cert etc. do will hopefully have an update on Monday afternoon. Have a good weekend and happy St. Patrick's Day! I'll be celebrating with my family on Monday. <3
Oh yes, can pay the fee, $240 at the embassy.

Got an email from embassy this morning telling me they are ready to process our k3 visa and they have sent a letter out with instructions. Mharvian, did you have to pay the $240 fee at the embassy? Just waiting on the letter which I might receive tomorrow, it was only sent out today. Have everything ready. So excited.

How can i follow up on our petition? Its impossible to call London embassy, i just sent an email and still no reply 4 days later. Arghhh.

I-130 and I-129f being processed together

Good morning to all. I just want to ask why is it both our I-130 and I-129 are still both being processed? Should it that one of them (129) has been closed automatically? Our 130 is at NVC while the 129 is at the US Embassy in Manila. We are now at the process wherein we need to pay the Visa fee. Who should we pay, 130 or 129, and move forward with?

Choose the USC to be the agent. Your husband should give over both of your email addresses anyhow (or you can) so they will simply email you everything.
