Canada	Off Topic Part Quatre	Congratulations, Sprailenes! Excellent news Joe got called a year ago for Federal jury duty as well. His duty period was for 2 weeks. He called in every night the first week and didn't have to report - he wasn't so fortunate the second week. He had to go in and was selected and they started to hear the case that day. I was concerned it would be something like murder or drugs or something horrific but it turned out to be a construction contract dispute between a sub-contractor and the contractor. It actually lasted 2 weeks and Joe enjoyed the experience. hehe, they ended up finding both parties guilty of violation of contract so while each were expecting a windfall at the expense of the other party, the 'settlements' virtually cancelled each other out. i had federal jury duty about 9 months ago - but was dismissed when i asked if the guy being tried was busted as a result of the same sting that also busted a guy at work the answer turned out to be yes. congrats to my favorite seal thumper for the house! Canada	Off Topic Part Quatre	Aparently, we had an earthquake last night. It was quite minor though. I didn't even wake up, neither did Mel. I still remember her first earthquake experience. It was a small one, but the epicenter was closer to us so you could feel it stronger. She woke up and kept saying "Did a truck just hit our apartment building?". Canada	Off Topic Part Quatre	i thought canadians were crazy about hockey. it turns out, i was wrong.... last night while watching trutv, there was a clip about ultimate hockey. it's played under the ice! two guys put on wetsuits, wear no scuba gear, and the puck floats - so it's on the underside of the ice. and the two guys battle back and forth to get the puck into the net of the opposing player. again, there is no scuba gear..... finland won, was unable to hear who else was playing.	charles! The envelope is lined with silver and it says: "To prevent wireless communication with your card please keep it in this sleeve" So it's like my card is wearing a tin-foil hat.
