Asia: South	Nikah date and wedding dates	In our case our Nikah happened on 1-31-12. Our wedding reception from bride (Rukhsati) side happened on 2-1-12 and Groom Reception (Valima) on 2-3-12. We did mentioned date of marriage 1-31-12 on I-130(When we signed the marriage certificate AKA Nikah Nama with witnesses signatures from both sides). Technically, on I-130 application I stated date 2-1-12 on Question 21 in which you have to give address and dates from - to where you both (husbands & wife) live together. Because Rukhsati (Bride Reception) was happened on 2-1-12 and we all know very well in our culture that Bride don't live with husband until Rukhsati done. When we registered our marriage with NADRA (Marriage Registration Certificate) they also stated date of marriage as 1-31-12 the day when we signed the Marriage papers with witnesses signatures. In ISL, the US Embassy very well knows the difference between Nikah and Rukhsati and in few cases they did asked in the interview to the beneficiary if the Rukhsati has been done or not. In our case we don't have Nikah photos as we don't think about it but we do have photos & video of Wedding ceremony for both receptions. Asia: South	Late birth registration India	Hello,   My fiance just received his birth certificate a few months ago as India did not issue them until recent years. From what I've read the late birth certificates are accepted as the embassy understands the situation. We also had his mother sign a notarized affidavit stating his name, date of birth, place of birth, etc. I read somewhere that if the beneficiary cannot obtain their birth certificate in India then the affidavit, school certificate, voters id card, PAN card, all will work as well. Asia: South	No birth certifcate for Pakistani fiance	what you are talking about is the bay form from nadra my fiance had a similar issue her birth certificate was given to the school and they lost it she never had any use of the birth certificate till the visa application so she had to have one attested by the family and have a local registery of her birth its not difficult to do specially since you have the family form already. Msg me if you need instructions on how to have a birth certificate made. Asia: South	No birth certifcate for Pakistani fiance	Hi all,   My Pakistani fiancé is currently in the UK with a passport that says he was born in Pakistan.  His parents never applied for a birth certificate when he was born.  Here is the tricky part.  While trying to get a BC in Pakistan we have come to realize he was more than likely born in Dubai not Pakistan.  His parents moved back to Pakistan when he was young and registered him in Pakistan.  What do we do?  His passport and Pakistani National ID card both say he was born in Pakistan, but we are now pretty sure he was born in Dubai, but can't find any proof of it other than what his elderly mother remembers.  We obviously don't want to lie on any of the paperwork going forward, (His G-325 was submitted with Pakistan as his birthplace because we didn't know any differently) but cannot find any proof in UAE that he was born there. We can't really update his passport either with a new birthplace without proof.  I have no idea what we should do. Has anyone else in Pakistan had a similar issue and how did you handle?   Update:  It turns out he does not have a birth certificate, but he does have an official Family Certificate by Birth from Nadra listing all of his family members including himself.  Will that be enough?	nadia&sameer	Female	Pakistan	7/7/2013 12:19

Asia: South	Medical in Pakistan	Well they only Gives 2 vaccines at medical . Thats what i had to get bcz i didnt have any vaccine card at all . Asia: South	Wrong name??	I already got my noa 1&2 and now going to submit the ds3032 email. I just got reminded about my name by my friend. I have ' binti' in the middle of my name in my passport and birth certificate. Binti means., daughter of. It is never used as middle name in my country, malaysia. therefore I didnt put any middle name in all the forms for my petition since my name only consist of my own name and my dad. My noa approved without binti. the next stage , the nvc stage, i will require to attach my passport and birth certificate copies. Now i m so worry....pls help.. They care about the wedding event so you must mention the wedding date and you MUST have pictures of you and your spouse together and it would be better that if possible if the pictures have date marks on them. you should have couple pics of you two with the family and at other places you traveled together believe me I have read a lot of reviews of Pakistan consulate and they are tough so the more strong evidence you show of a couple the easier your life will be. But be sure that you already have the other documents. Visa payment receipt, 3. Checklist with sign and date.. Note: you have to check at the us embassy if the ds-230 still can use because what i read in the forums that start from sept.1,2013 the ds-230 will change into ds-260.
