Asia: South	How was your day today?	Uneventful, relaxing Sunday. Lots of soccer and beer. Yay for Germany! It rained all morning and then it got really hot in the evening. I made fried rice and pork in a sesame and ginger sauce. Rustled up some bread pudding for dessert. Asia: South	K-1 Visa fees India	You are reading too much into YMMV... while each consulate is different.... the other fees would be possibly a courier delivery fee when i dealt with the consulate there you had to use a courier service its listed on their web site what one and your better off to give them as many as the documents and proof that they will allow other wise you get that not so wonderful paper asking for the items you brought with you to the interview but they make you send them to them thru the courier service after the interview..... sara	sara..... AND MY HUSBAND'S AND MY ANNIVERSARY DATE!!! SO IT IS ALREADY A GREAT DAY --------------------- geat news husband received his ssn on Friday, the 19th. Applied online for this position on Wednesday, the 24th. Phone interview, Thursday morning, the 25th. Asked to come in later that evening for a face-to-face interview. How is he doing?? thank you he is doing fine. happy he is able to call india anytime he wishes. i have taken him to several places. he has been able to meet a lot of people. today, we are going to church, where he can meet a lot more he was able to get himself a cellphone and a connector for his laptop, so he is on cloud 9. sometimes it is still hard to believe we do not have to rely on technology as our means of communication. simply amazing!! Asia: South	How was your day today?	he is almost in chicago. according to the flight tracker, he is going to be landing a half hour early, which is in 15 minutes he is scheduled to land at 1:10 central. he has a layover in chicago, and will arrive at his new hometown at 7:40pm central. Asia: South	What to wear	I wore jeans and a shirt, no sindoor, no bangles nada. I don't wear any of those in my day to day life, I choose not to wear it for the interview either. Asia: South	Chennai interview reschedule	I have read several cases here how people easily rescheduled their interview in Chennai, but those people requested dates, or a range of dates (like, after a certain date). Did you explain in the letter about what the Vizag office said? Obviously, you don't know the exact date the passport will come back so you can't tell the Consulate an exact date. Boy, times sure have changed (for the worse)! My husband got his passport back from the Vizag passport office within 24 hours, in 2007!	ELW	Female	India	6/9/2010 8:40
Asia: South	PCC - Bangalore/ India	Hello, sorry I cannot tell you about Bangalore but hopefully someone will answer who got a police PCC from there. I think that the PCCs would be similar throughout India. Here are our PCCs from Visakhapatnam: The PCC issued by the Visakhapatnam Passport office said: Govt of India Ministry of External Affairs Passport Office (address etc) Police Clearance Certificate There is no adverse information against (name) son of (name) holder of Indian Passport No -- issued at -- on -- which would render him/her ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for United States of America. Passport Officer (Signature, Address & Stamp) The letter issued from the local police station said: “This is to certify that -- son of -- aged --, address -- who has not been involved in any criminal case so far and no adverse report was received against him as per the records of --Police Station.
