Asia: South	How was your day today?	Hope you all had a fun New Year's Eve. I went out with my cousin and her boyfriend who had a party at his place. Met some people I've not seen in five years, drank a lot, then ended up eating at a roadside dhaba at about two. After driving around the city and throwing up in a street corner, we got in at around 4am. Good times. All my best wishes for a Happy 2010, ladies! Asia: South	How was your day today?	Trinket -- Haha, you're one of the VERY few people to pick up on the Sachin. I absolutely, utterly, hopelessly love that man. Worship him, practically. My nickname is Chinky. Sachin + Chinky = Sachinky. It's like we're meant to be. I avoid Chinky in the U.S. as it is quite racist. So I use Sachinky instead. And my husband, bless his heart, just doesn't GET this process. His standard refrain is, "But you're my wife!" "But I love you!" "But I am a USC!" "But who's gonna keep us apart?" I don't bother with him anymore. He just fills the forms and gets the required documents as and when its required. Even my in-laws are baffled. They don't understand how it can be this complicated. I swear to God, when I finally get my NOA2, I will shout from the rooftop. I'm getting mad antsy. K -- Has your husband bought his ticket yet? Asia: South	How was your day today?	My white Amreekan boy is turning into a full-time desi. He loves Bollywood -- especially SRK, Amitabh, Saif Ali Khan, and Amir Khan. And can eat his tandoori chicken and chicken butter masala with his fingers. Has learnt a few choice Hindi insults. He even understands the basics of cricket and says he is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar. My kind of man. Ooo, my school canteen used to make the best chola-batura in town. I have to say -- I too, am completely fascinated by Egypt.
