K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January '09 I-129 filers at CSC	QUESTION~~~ on saturday i recieved a letter from NVC saying they recieved our approved I-129F (k-1) petition and will be forwarding it to our foreign consulate in a week. (the confusion between the NOA2 and NVC letter is b/c i was on vacation, so my mother read me the letter, i just assumed it was the NOA2, but upon returning home and looking at letter, it does not look like NOA1 AT ALL) this is how i found out we were approved i have yet to receive any paper NOA2 or had the status reflect it online. we will need this paper NOA2 for AOS and the interview correct?!?!? what should i do?	justucia	Female	Jamaica	2009-04-15 16:01:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Help please, Fiancee not allowed to board flight	She's set to arrive April 12th, after our set wedding date........ we have no choice but to delay the wedding for a few days, it was not meant to be a huge affair but now it'll likely be smaller. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	i need help with this question	we did not file a cr1 visa, we filed a k1 but, his passport/visa was delayed for a looooooong time im assuming you have tried tracking it via track@dhl.com has the package left the embassy? is it saying the shipment is 'on hold'? have you talked to a dhl rep? i KNOW how frustrating it is, sorry i called the NVC and they never had any information calling the embassy is a JOKE, imo..... never got through, but i do know others have i emailed the embassy many times- never heard anything back from them then one saturday the embassy called my finace and told him he had to be in kingston in two days (that next monday) to have his fingerprints retaken ($$) he recieved his visa via DHL the following monday good luck consularkingst@state.gov Edited by justucia, 14 September 2009 - 06:37 AM.	justucia	Female	Jamaica	2009-09-14 06:36:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Alien Number Annoyance- question inside	hello all~ i've been reading and using the search function for this section, and have still to find a concrete answer google has not found me the answer either i am in the process of compiling the original packet to be sent out for k-1, and on the forms mentioned above they ask of an ALIEN NUMBER-- background- my fiance was in the states with an H2B visa in the year 2007, so he has an american visa in his passport as well as a social security number that i filled in in regards to the elusive Alien Number should i: a) leave it blank? ( my gut is telling me no) b.) put a question mark c) write in 'NONE' (does not seem logical, for he might have a number assigned, i just don't know it) d) write N/A e) leave it blank and not worry about it b/c I filled in his SS# there is a red 8 digit number on his (used) american visa, placed just under his passport number might that be it??? thanks a million you all have be super helpful without even knowing it Edited by justucia, 19 January 2009 - 01:16 PM.	justucia	Female	Jamaica	2009-01-19 13:15:00

Does everybody sends snail mails for proof of relationship?	our interview is on june 19 ill tell you what i DID, i dont know how beneficial this info will be to you: i went to the dollar store, and bought 20 '2 for 1$ cards' i went to the post office and affixed postage to envelopes i pre-addressed cards with postage attached wrote a silly poem, song lyrics, a line or two threw the cards in the mailbox 2x a week and instructed fiance to save the cards for interview (this is anciallary evidence im aware, but used in conjuction with other evidence of ongoing relationship......... it might help)	justucia	Female	Jamaica	2009-06-05 22:33:00
