Guys,We had very hard time today ,after waiting for NOA2 for 100 days,today we got a mail from Homeland Security Department.We was told that we missed filing something in I129F,this was ridiculous.I checked it ,and my fiance checked,and so did his mom .Three of us checked before sent the packege and nothing seemed missing.And what was smelling even fishy is one of my friends ,the same thing happened to them last week,they also filed in vermont .when she told me that,i felt very soory to them and hopefully nothing like that would happen to us,unfortunately,it happened.#######!they did this to us.We didn't hire a lawer to deal with our k1 visa,but my friend did.And the lawer told them lately a lot of customers complain the same stuff happend to them.We are not suckers ,why the hell they gave us such a lame excuse to delay our case!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?	also, the packets vary by consulate as well...some consulates may have you mail in only some of the required documents, and bring others with you to the interview...others consulates may have you mail in every single document (including police certificates and everything) and bring nothing to the interview...some consulates have you mail nothing in and have you bring it all with you on interview day...this all depends...i know that in my packet 3, i will definitely need the police certificates, and i have to mail them in to the consulate Yeah, I think some don't require the I-134 until the Interview. Also, be careful about getting all your information really early, you wouldn't want your employment letter and stuff to be dated really far from the interview. I'm planning on gathering my I-134 materials only after I've received my NOA2. You should do a search on your particular consulate to see what is needed for Packet 3. My fiance called me at 3AM this morning to tell me, and I tried calling back as soon as I hopped out of bed and grabbed my phone off the charger (like...2 minutes later, I swear)...and he got my voicemail and that's the last I heard from him! I've been jumping out of my skin alllllllllllll day trying to call but his phone keeps ringing...and ringing....and ringing... -sigh- I'll get a hold of him, eventually! We never received Packet 3. 8 business days after they sent it, I e-mailed the Embassy asking what to do, and they said fill in what you can and drop it off immediately. We just received packet 3 this morning! Ahh I'm so happy for you! I know how long you've waited for this. Hurry up and get all that info back in so you can get your interview date! Woo. Dang! dropped 2 more spots. new people keep getting added to the list in their appropriate spot and it always seems to be ahead of me, hahaha. ...........But seriously, its not funny dito...and i think it is quite clear that nobody is moving OFF the list! grrr We all will eventually. youre right...im assuming you have gained such wisdom during your 88 days of waiting thus far...thank you for keep us in check I'm dying from the wait, too, I just wanted to be a little bit optimistic . At any rate, the only point I was trying to make is that perhaps some workers are more inclined to thumb through a petition that is "easy". That's all. If I was that employee and I had 3 files that were thrown together quickly and 1 file that was professional and simple to review, which one do you think would get my attention immediately? I think that makes sense. When I sent mine in I didn't hole punch it, but I had the table of contents thing that VJ made on the front, and then put the information into it in that order. I also had little labled tabs at the bottom for each thing on the contents page. I don't know if it will make them look at it faster, but it might. If I was the employee looking through all the files I'd probably take the smallest one, first. That might just be because I'm lazy. So I'd say along with organization, only including necessary information would be helpful. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?	i was under the impression that vsc and csc have been the only two processing centers for quite some time, is that incorrect? im also hoping to get my NOA2 by the 90 day mark, but im betting that things are going to pick up, and we will be seeing our NOA2's sooner than that...im not holding my life to this, and if it doesnt pick up, i wont be devestated or anything...im just saying that history tends to repeat itself, it might not be exactly the way it was last year, but all of the service centers seem to have the trend of peaking in the summer, i dont think thats a coincidence...also ive heard that imbra began last spring, like april, not in august...forgive me if ive been misinformed i am trying to keep things realistic, which is why i dont see this current backlog as the devestation as many others do...i think its normal, and that its not going to be this way forever I think you're right, but I think alot of people have been sending their applications to their local service center, which then forwards it to VSC or CSC, which probably adds some days to the total processing time. I don't know if they're still doing that or not, I remember reading there was a cut off date where you were supposed to begin sending it to one of the two designated service centers. I'm not sure when that date is, though. I do hope it speeds up a little. I'm tired of waiting and would love to start the next part of this process. I'm not devasted by it, either, but I'm bored. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?	We sent our I-129F back in late April from Ireland and it arrived on May 15th. We had our last touch/NOA 1 on May 23rd and are still waiting for the NOA2, or RFE...which ever we get we are ready and waiting for further action on our part. So, 80-ish days is the average for May now? That's fine, so long as we know that the wait is to be more expected. Saw our name on the K-3 list (Barry and Kimmbo)...we received our NOA2 on July 23rd.. (147 days for I-130, and 129 days for I-129)... its been a long wait and were headed for a longer wait as Montreal is taking 5 to 7 MONTHS to schedule interviews!! good luck to everyone!! Then I will return for his interview and then to go get him and come home with him. We needed to break up the wait. We've been together now like this 4 years with only a yearly visit. It took a toll on our relationship as the stress of the long distance got to us. But we are stronger than ever and just over protective of our time and visits. Add in PMS and we have a recipe for hormonal surges that produce un needed tears...LOL... Anyways....I know he works hard to keep the connections going..and we are always finding creative ways to touch. (He keeps dial up as a back up). I know what you mean about out in no where. I am to sort of. We just in the last year got dial up. Satelite net was ok...but expensive. I use vonage for my phone but because we live between Richmind VA and WAshington DC we still have good services. Alhamdolellah. I wish you well in those hard times. I understand the frustration. I'm ok with the wait for the NOA2 its the lack of movement that kills me... GROUP HUGGGGGGGGG I know, I would just love a TOUCH. At least it would show something, I haven't had any movement since I got my NOA1. Dial up as a backup is a really good idea, especially if his DSL goes out all the time. I leave for Egypt August 28!! Can't wait. We WERE hoping to have our noa2 by then so I could assemble our packet 3 together.....still hoping. Anyways...been a hard few days....My SO is losing DSL daily lately due to the heat and electrical outages. After 4 summers of this, you'd think I"d be used to it by now...but im not. I just want this over with. Im tired of missing him to and tired of always keeping my MIND in check so as to NOT make things up that aren't there. (Anyone else know what I mean???) I really got depressed over the FEW noa2's from vermont we reported last week. I really hope this week goes better. Come on VSC....give us a spot of hope for fact reconcilliation with our loved one. Even if you don't, this website has samples of what can be found in Packet 3, so you can download them and work on them with your fiance for practice. That way he will already have sample copies filled out to help with the actual ones. I know EXACTLY how you feel. In our case it's not my fiance's DSL, but my (USC) electricity and telephone line. I live WAY out in the country and our service fails like 50% of the time, which really sucks. We don't have any other options, though, since they are the only telephone and electricity providers where I live. I would switch to DSL, but we don't get that out there, either. So I go CRAZY when it's out and I can't talk to him online. It's worst when the phone is out because I can't even call to talk to him. So when I hear thunder I get all paranoid that something is going to happen (it usually does!!). I'm hoping for a ton of approvals this week. How long will you be in Egypt for? IS HIS VISA DONE YET???? Have to admit....we haven't had to wait to long yet. But never knew a month could go by sooooooooooooooo slowly!!! Leaving for Egypt end of August for 2 weeks..THAT will make the time fly for a bit!!! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... His visa isn't done yet, I moved from like 28 to 26. I've been moving back lately because alot of people were joining VJ, so I'm super happy to move down even a little bit . I found this information on the USCIS website. http://www.uscis.gov...8ce159d286150e2 If you do a search on www.uscis.gov with keywords a ton of information comes up. USCIS MUST post their proceedures and memos for public access. (Read it on there somewhere) I've gained a wealth of information by using some of the following keywords: adjudication, sponsor, guides, process I hope some of this information is helpful. I found that our petitions don't just sit from day one. They go through a process. Some one checks the petition first for completeness then processes the payment, data enters it and assigns our A#. If something is thought to be missing ( proper fee, up to date forms, missing signatures) You can recieve the petition back OR even an RFE at THIS stage. Then the petition moves on and an IBIS check is done. Verifying the petitioners background. Searches are being done during this time for criminal or suspicous activities that may constitute fraud. Then an adjudicator goes through all the evidence with a fine tooth comb. Making sure all supporting documentation is there... AND....one thing I noticed in reading...IF they find statments, or ANYTHING small that could constitute fraud or bring up questions, we can be denied then OR an RFE (which they prefer to do first) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for those that I"ve read saying DONT SEND TOOOOOOOOOO MUCH INFORMATION WITH THE PETITION...They are right. ONLY provide what they want and a SAMPLING of on going relationship (they are not concerned up front with this) BUT small things said COULD delay the noa2 for months as they investigate. I read somewhere on there...that during the IBIS process, if something questionable comes up it can take months to investigate. SOOO for those that wait an extended time...maybe thats one reason. Anyways... happy reading Thanks so much for finding that. I didn't send a whole lot of supporting evidence, so I hope we're ok. Just a couple of boarding passes, photos, emails and phone bills. I'm happy because my passport is sitting here with me!! and I also have been apartment hunting for (us!) and i found a couple of places i have to pick between.. one is in the ghetto but huge and the other is in a beautiful safe area but small. no idea what to do but its our 'first place' I'm so happy you got your passport for real this time. Uggggh I was so expecting some April/early May approvals today, especially after those we had last week. By the way, congratulations to everyone who got approved! Just wondering, once you're approved, how long are you going to wait to start gathering the documents to send to your fiance (I-134, pay stubs, employer letter, letter of intent, etc.)? My dad has been very aggressive about calling the VSC, and we even had our State Representative's office call several times! Alas, it still doesn't look hopeful. They're telling the Rep that they're still processing applications from Dec. 2006 .. (WHATEVER) and that D should get his interview in November!!! This process is ridiculous. Congrats to everyone who has gotten through it! Hey guys, Most of us have alot of people in line in front of us (26 for me) and it's really only been a couple of months of waiting (for many of us). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?	well this is my first posting, but i thought i would finally jump in as i'm on here daily gathering strength from you guys. after weeks of nothing (NOA2 April 4/17), i finally got a touch listed on saturday (assuming it was updated late on friday). a couple of weeks ago, having no touchs and stressed, i tried the RFE trick and was told that my petition didnt have any problems thus far. so i am, hoping to hear something concrete soon! (NOA2 this week!?!?). it'd be great to get it tomorrow; it's my birthday:) in fact, i want to see flurry of approvals on VJ again like a few weeks ago, so that is what i will concentrate my hopes on - let's see alot of dancing smiley faces this week, eh?? It would be awsome to get it on your birthday. I hope we start seeing some NOA2's soon, especially for you guys who have been waiting for months. Congratulations to Ole & Melissa who received their K1 NOA2 on 2007-07-02. They were not on my list because they didn't update their timeline until now. We're up to 4 NOA2's for July so far! Yay! Yesterday I’m coming home from work and all I could see was love all around me, couples holding hands laughing and hugging, squirrels playing catch me if you can. I’m on my bike sitting at the light and a bike pulls up next to me with his girl on the back we give the usual bikers nod and thumps up and I’m thinking to myself everybody’s friken with their love one but me. I know the feeling. They are flaunting it everywhere I go. It should be banned immediately. Well..
