Seriously that is what they sent to you? you must be joking. first thing is it would take them longer then 3 days what a joke. and second they would send a letter to USCIS. that alone takes more than 3 days. Did you mail a request to the senators office, or did you walk it in and actually talk to them? Its expected when USCIS gives you the run around and lies to you...................but you senators office? Please say yes. im soooooooooo sooooooorrrryyy for my absence I have been sooo busy with this thing called marriage. hahaha. I guess i need to tell you all how everything happen to explain myself.....right (((PB&J)))? ok ok get some here we go. she went from fez to casa on a train. it is like a 4 hour ride. she boarded the plane at 1030am morroc time and arrived at JFK at 230pm our time. i drove to philaddelphia from ohio the day before....... straight from the office to the freeway because my mother wanted to come too. then we drove to new york the next day. i waited outside the international arrivals with balloons " i love you and welcome home" i waited like an hour after the plane landed. i meet this man from egypt there. more time i wait. i decided to go out and check on my car......when i returned i saw my princess ohh i thought i was dreaming as i look at her dressed all in pink. i was soo excited i forgot to take pics oh and let me not forget my mother was crying too. we went back to philadlephia so we could introduce her to the family. and right before we were set to leave a few days later.......my mother says can i come back to ohio with you all for a couple of weeks. How could i say no?? So now i have to women in my house haha. mama is teaching her how to cook american foods and use the appliances here. and since my mama is a retired teacher she is tutoring her as well. Alhumduallah. they get along great and everyone is happy. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July '08 filers	Im a july08 filer and i want to tell you that there is light at the end of the tunnel..... Im sorry for keeping you in the dark ........Remember the day i said that i was going to call the counsulate and see what happened at the interview?? Well as i was calling the counsulate my fiance was calling me on the phone. i answered and it was her telling me that she was in AP. Well on monday she gets a call from the counsualte to come for an appointment. she asked what should she bring and they say her passport. So naturally we are excited but nervous at the same time. She goes to the counsulate on wed. and they give her another interview. She says the interview was 45 min long . they asked her about me and my parents........everything was game, but she knows everything (even my social security number by heart ) so she answered all the questions well. Alhumduallah. After the interview the lady asked her for her passport and told her that they would call her in a few days. MY fiance asked " call me for what? " the lady smiled and said " your visa " my fiance said " really, sure, everything is ok " the lady responded " yes hen my fiance asked when will you call me? the lady said in about a week and my fiance left. Well well well......what a differnce 24 hours makes. she received a call on thursday (the next day after the second interview) from the counsualte and they told her to pick up her VISA TODAY!! I had to go to the office today and i wanted to leave early so i could be home to talk to her on the web cam, becasue i wanted to SEE the visa. But i had a stupid department meeting. When i got home i had her show me the visa and it finally hit me ......WE DID IT!! i did not want to post anything here until she had it in her hand. I hope you all understand my abstance........right?? Forgive me?? So it's time to say goodbye to all my visa filling, noa2 waiting, stress filled, daily crying, heart aching, couch sittin, july08 filers. But...........i gotta go! Its just like a rollercoaster ride you know. first you pay for admission (pay for application filing), then you go to your favorite ride (k-1,k-3,cr-1,etc) then you wait in line to get to the ride (noa1), then you wait in line up on the platform in the line of where you want to sit (NOA2) then you go up and down and around (with USCIS,NVC,Counsulate for an interview) then when you think the ride is about over.............. they throw you for a loop (AP). I can not wait for this ride to be over. im sick and i want to throw up. Oh please oh please let me off ths ride. As you all know my fiance had her inerview on the 28th of april. there was only 3 people there that day so she did not have to wait to long for her turn. she had a white lady with glasses. she said she was nice. she asked her: how we met? what i did for a living why she loved me? what we have in common? why she want to marry and american and not a moroccan? had she spoke to my parents before? does the families approve of the engagment? where i live? when was the last time i was there? she asked for the engagment photos, emails, and conversations, then gave her a white sheet of paper that had a boxed checked. the boxed that was checked was other: we require nothing further at this time we will call you as we can proceed with your case...... blah blah blah(i cant remember exactly) the lady also gave her her passport. on her passport there was a green ticket with a 5 digit number on it. it was perferated in the middle of the ticket. so it had 2 sides each with the same 5 digit number. the ticket was stapled to her passpot. the lady gave it to her and said we will call you soon. im kinda and , because again i am in the dark about my fiances visa. i miss her so much and i hate not knowing when or if she will get her visa. people tell me that this is normal for morocco, but she is not a male and this is somewhat rare. inshallah everything will be fine. anyone have any advice or thoughts?? bad or good? thank you all for your support and oyu all are great people. wallahi i promise you all are. again thank you soo much for caring	mohammedwalks	Male	Morocco	2009-05-02 23:42:00
