Well it was my year end evaluation today and I while I hear no one ever gets perfect, I think I'm pretty good at my job. I'm only a program assistant but I have been asked, imo, to go well beyond that.

So, I failed the document management portion of my evaluation. The reason? I don't file my boss' paperwork for her. laughing.gif I spent TWO days cleaning out her office because of all the ###### she has in there. I don't even know what is file worthy because there is just paper everywhere. So I guess I'm supposed to spend more time in her office going through her stuff.

I signed it and agreed. I didn't even care.


Danggg, You should of known better, next time file it right, right into the circular file on the side of the desk, where durning the night someone else come to make sure it is put away safely and in its propler place for safe keeping

Five guys is way better then IN n Out. I like in n out but the last times i had them, the burgers were raw, like the just cook the outside, 10 secs on each side, might as well served raw burgers.

We received an NOA saying "to bring 3 passport size photos and passport to the local INS office", after which "your new alien registration receipt card will be mailed to you withing 6 months."

The only problem is, my wife already received her Permanent 10 yr green card in the mail last week, after being approved a couple of days before. Do we need to bother with this step? Did the letters get crossed in the mail? The Permanent Residence card IS the I-551, AND we have already received it, so why would we need to go down and get a passport endorsement or whatever?

I dont know i would call and find out but it sure sounds like a clear case of the USCIS right hand does not know what the left hand is doing... :lol: :lol:

If they READ the I-9 form it states what is accpeted. List A has the US Passport. If you use something from List B you will need to provide other ID from List C.

Maybe the Person that verify the documents, does not know how to read and understand English.

Before you jump over board. I would get a DNA test before you make a quick decision.

If it comes back as your not the father, I would think she would maybe do it again. Her excuse is BS.
I would think divorce would be in order and I would not pay child support. I would adjust my own staus and prove it was legit and use the DNA test results as proff she cheated on you.

if you are the father, then that is good. Just proced as planed

My wife's is Green card will expired at the end of next month. her boss told her that her green card is about to expired. My wife said she will be suspended until she can show she still can work.

I told her they cant re verify your work. or ask for your green card to prove you still can work. Am I wrong or what is the procedure. I told her they can't it is illigal to do that.

Yeah no kidding. they are working on December 2007. I filed for my wife in June and she got her 1 yr extendstion. If they are only on December, then I think she can apply for USC before she gets her green card.

I got a email from cris yesterday sayin they order my wife's 10 year green card. this is the second time they ordered it in 2 weeks.

I called them up because I wanted to make sure of the card upgrading systems. My wife's DL is expring tomorrow also.

I called the USCIS and spoked to a very nice person and she confirmed that the system is upgrading equipment and i need to make a infopass

I made a infopass for this past thursday and we went to it. they stamped her passport good for other year.

I checked it before I went and she had it expire on June 9 2009.. Heck it was expired before we left the building laughing.gif
so we went back to the counter and asked and she said opps your right and she changed it and intnial it by the change.

So if you get a stamp in your passport Make sure it is correct before you leave.. smile.gif

but at the same time her green card was order on the same day we went to the infopass. smile.gif

just my first time experince at the USCIS Office smile.gif

yes I went to that office last month. It was pleasent and the staff were friendly and professional.

Only hicup there is the lady screwed up the 1 year exstention, she put the wrong year down.. So check to make sure, she corrected it

My wife was at the VSC and then Transfer To CSC. it was forever, then they sent a RFE for proof of us living together. mmmm did they not see the papers I sent. So I sent them in and a couple weeks ago she got a letter congrats her and she should get her GC in the next 60 days. So it took 10 months.

Here is what she should do..

Tell her to get a cell phone contract on her name.. Of course she would get denied due to no credit.. They will ask her for a deposit.. Just tell her to pay a deposit..

Paying bills and paying bills on time is how you build your credit..

Also transfer some utility bills on her name, cable, telephone, etc..

After 6 months.. Get ready to be piled with Pre-Approved Credit card mails..
