K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	got a 221(g) white form for K1 visa	The 1040 is just a longer version of the tax form. People who do not need to itemize things on their taxes can file a 1040EZ. It's just shorter, but the consulate should not have a problem accepting that one if that is what your fiancé has. My fiancé submitted copies of my 1040EZ forms from the past couple of years and there were no problems. Granted, this was the Guatemalan embassy, but Manila really should not have a problem with this form. I am sorry that Manila does not accept co-sponsors for the K-1. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Quick leave after marriage	For this kind of situation, your safety net will have to be a tourist visa.  Without the intent of permanently residing in the United States, your fiancée is not eligible for a fiancée visa or a spousal visa, as both of these require the intent of permanent residency.   Proceeding with the K-1 now will not benefit you, as your fiancée will not be able to return if she leaves before receiving permission to travel.  And even if she waits to receive permission to travel, if she permanently resides outside of the United States, she will not fulfill the requirements for adjusting status to permanent resident of the United States.  Even applying for a spousal visa will not help, as she is not planning on permanent residency in the United States in the foreseeable future.   If in the the future you all decide to move permanently to the United States, that would be the time to apply for a form of permanent residency.  But with your current situation, a tourist visa is the option available to your fiancée.	birdword42	Female	Guatemala	2013-04-30 00:46:00

Front loading for the K-1 process is sent along with the I-129F. The email for the consulate is for questions only they don't care or will not accept any documents via email. The only thing you can do now is let your fiancee bring in any additional documents you want to show during the interview. It may or may not be needed. There isn't really a requirment as long as you have good income and can prove that using a employment verification letter. However longer job history shows the consulate that you are able to keep a job which is helpful... I forget about the Consulate interview process, however I do remember that you need the NOA2 for the adjustment of status process, a replacement NOA2 cost over $300. So it's better to get this resolved ASAP. Some people on here will tell you that it's possible to adjust status without the NOA2 but why wait that long to get the issue resolved... I mean it's only $14,710 for K1, then $18,387 when you adjust status. You could get a job at walmart, or even mcdonald's and make that much. Not to be nosey, but who is paying for all your visa and documents for your fiancee to get here? Maybe they would co-sponsor for you...Well good luck! Seems like you were mis-informed. The consulate follows the poverty guideline at the 125% level since you need to adjust status after entering the us and marrying. So for two people you'll need an annual income of $18,388.
