K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July '08 filers	hi friends - i have some questions about ds-230 and ds-2001. i posted this question in the foreign embassy forum: ds-230 - question 10 & 11 - asks for permanent residence in the US and where the green card should be mailed. i'll be moving in april/may. should we put unknown or should we put my current address and update uscis later in both cases? another question: on ds 2001- it asks for a case number. i assume that theyre asking for the case number we got from nvc and not the case number from uscis. the nvc case number starts with "prs" and the uscis case number starts with a "wac". please help. thanks. When I called NVC a few weeks ago they told me that the Embassy had received the electronic file but not the physical file. I checked DHL and it had been delivered. And I have a small dumb question: How do you place others posts in a new post. For example: Koakland new post -Aubrey old post -Koakland comments -ShannonheartsNicks old post -Koakland comments And obviously I have issues posting pics on this thing. How are you guys posting pics? I use the code but my pics are huge or they don't appear at all. For example, I am sending to my fiance the I134, tax transcripts, verification of employment letter, a certified copy of my birth cert (I sent USCIS a regular photocopy), all cards and letters that I submitted as evidence of a bonafide relationship annnnnnnnnnd I think that's it. The furniture looks nice enough and it's fairly cheap here but there are so many pieces and the directions are awful. Just pictures with arrows. No numbered pieces, letters or anything. I've had bad Ikea assembly experiences. I went to an actual furniture store today that assembles the furniture for you so I'll probably do something like that. If they've told you they sent it today, pick up won't be until the next business day - at least from what I saw on my experience. you can prolly check tonight or monday to see if they've sent it. you can check it at dhl.com --> track by reference --> EXP 19 DEC 2008A so since they said they've sent it today, thats the date you would put, hence EXP 19 DEC 2008A. It wouldnt have your name on it, it would just have the country destination of the package. Hope this helps! Cheers! Woo hoo! My father died when I was 25 years old, he was 46 the same age that I am now. I have struggled with this pain all these years as I was a daddys girl and dammit I need him now. What kind of a man can leave me on my birthday, what kind of a man can leave me a week before xmas, what kind of a man can hurt me so deeply and just disapear off the face of the earth and not give a #### , what kind of a man can do this????? Christmas eve is so hard for me as that is the time I would spend with my dad and I miss him so much. Last year Keith sat and held me in his arms the entire night and told me he loved me and that he would be with me for always. IM so sick of this i cant stop crying i just want it to be over with. He should have already had his interview said up by now...it is ridiculous. It seems in Russia they just sent you an invitation letter to the interview with all the instructions and some info about the medical. And I believe you can't set up a medical before you get that info from them because medical has to be 3 days before the interview (or so I heard). On the embassy site they also specifically tell you not to mail any of the required forms, just bring them with you to the interview. Am I missing something here? I just had a big p3/p4 with my fiance an hour ago. He was really confused. I think that every embassy is a little different. For France, as I understand it - NVC sends the embassy the approved petition. The embassy sends the foriegn fiance p3. The fiance sends p3 back. The embassy sends p4 which includes the interview date and info for scheduling the medical. Because darkraven has been waiting so long for the p3 with no end in sight because of the embassy, mail carrier or both, I suggested that darkraven should just dl the forms from the uscis website. " I guess we'll just wait until we get something in the mail and take it from there. yeah ive never seen packet 3 or 4 mentioned on an us embassy website. i think its VJ language. i looked at russia's VJ page and it doesn't list packet 3 or 4. refer to the Russia forum? or i guess you can wait to see what they send you. i say check out the russia forum beforehand so you know what to expect. btw, i got my NVC notice letter today it's dated 12/15 but i called on monday and they told me that my i129f was sent to France on 12/12, last friday.
