I got touched 2 days in a row and the next day I got the email saying we were approved. I got the email on 12/25 and they weren't even open. So hopefully tonight or tomorrow you will have your approval! Good Luck! the same thing happened to me when i was approved. a touch on monday, a touch on tuesday. no status update but i received the NOA2 in the mail that friday. It's a way for them to sit back and postpone your case for a later date. We phoned again, trying to find out if we are in security checks or not, and the guy on the phone kept telling us to wait for the 3 months mentioned in the service request reply and he didn't understand why my fiance got nervous. The service request is the last information for our case and we have to wait for 3 months-right. At least my fiance is nervous now and he finally decided to write to the senator. Fingers crossed! Sara, that was especially for you! no offense intended cuz u are all a great bunch of people but i really do want out of this room the sooner the better as far as im concerned sara yeah me too, i want get out but whit my NOA2 in hand...... me too! i was sick yesterday then was up last night for 5 hrs of severe tooth pain. I called uscis today but their computers were down. then i had to get an emergency root canal cause my pain was from a tooth abscess. thats why i was feeling sick, from the infection. cost me $1500. so just got home. guess i'll try uscis tomorrow. It's so awful that you've been waiting this long for a NOA2. I'm at the 4 months stage and have no problem waiting yet. I'd be dying at 6 months though. People are constantly complaining about waiting for 1, 2, 3 months but I really think that 6+ months is ridiculous. I hope that you all receive your NOA2s soon and that the steps after that speed by. The plan here is to just pay and have a pro do it. yeah we're having a pro do it but he didnt seem that knowledgable about the Foreign Income part so I called the IRS and they answered our questions. We used to spend Thanksgiving together in France since I'd take lots of vacation time then but this year was his first with my whole family. His favorite was the sweet potatoes.
