K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresOrganizing Evidence
I need some help VJ'er's, I'm at the point of completing my I-129F Application and I've come across some things that create unnecessary confusion, which some of you have experienced first hand. Shall I send in copies of my fiance's Documentation of Single Status or the original? Secondly, the guide states that I must provide "ALL PAGES" of my passport? I must add, I only have two pages in my passport that has a visa stamp in there and every page after that is blank. Please help clarify. Thanks in advance!! :D

Sincerely,
Tar

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion about typing or hand-writing on the forms
Thanks for the quick replies!! Personally, I didnt think it was an issue but considering what Celeste&C had said, it does raise some eyebrows. I mean the hand-written portion on my part on the forms are not anything that requires a lot of writing. Its either I wrote down "n/a" or "none" on the blank spots. Lol thats why i said this might be a really stupid question.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion about typing or hand-writing on the forms
Here's the thing and this might be a really stupid question but I was wondering if I needed to either "re-type" my forms or simply leave it "as is." I typed up all of the information on my fiance's and my I-129f forms and on our G-325 forms but after reviewing them, I found that there were some blanks left on there that I failed to fill in while typing our information in. So I simply filled it in using a pen. Will that cause a problem or shall I not be so paranoid?? sorry for the stupid question but I'd rather hear what you guys have to say about this. Thanks in advance!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP! Who should I be contacting sither Senator or Congresswoman

I am at CSC and went to my congressman at the 5 month mark. I had to send the permission form along with a letter of explanation of why I was asking their help and the next day, I received action. I got an RFE but it was my fault (I left 2 boxes unchecked). Congressman and Senators have people in their offices that are there to specifically help people like us. I think that if you have waited for the amount of time that the statutes have set, then you are entitled to ask for help. That doesn't mean that it will happen but you sure can ask. Sometimes "The squeeky wheel gets the grease"

I absolutely agree with you. Hopefully, if I were to receive an RFE, it's as simple as human error and not anything else. I hope to hear something from there either today or tomorrow since the person I spoke with wasn't working yesterday when I dropped off the privacy release form. So, I'm assuming after you checked mark those two boxes, you received your NOA2 right?

Hi,
We had our NOA1 on 16th May...still waiting..... :(
Regards.

You should contact your senator too because that's way beyond the 6month mark. :) Good luck!

:help:Hang in there.

I'm trying my best. hahah going alittle crazy though, watching the ever-so-slow VSC move. :P

Agree! Don't get too nervous.

Thanks. I'm trying. :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP! Who should I be contacting sither Senator or Congresswoman
ok I contacted my senator and I'm having them find out the status of my case for me, as well as having them process my case. We'll see what happens next. Stay tuned.

sry mine is at VSC. Of course, it's easier said than done but its just hard seeing others receive their NOA2 when their NOA1 dates are later than mine. I need to be patient but I'm going to contact both as you suggested.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP! Who should I be contacting sither Senator or Congresswoman
Here my ordeal:
I sent our I129F in June and received an NOA1 on the 4th of June 2012. So far, it's past the 6 months mark. I called USCIS last friday and requested a service request but the man that I spoke to couldn't get the request to go through so he suggested me to write an email to them and wait for at least 10 business days for them to respond back. Well, I decided that I'm going to get my senator involved. But after doing some research, I'm not sure on which one to contact either the U.S. Senator Bob Corker or U.S. House Representative of district 6, Diane Black. Please help and thanks for the help in advance. Also, for those of whom went this route, I'd like to receive some input from you guys if possible.
