But man these days Islamabad embassy is working extremely slow. I am still waiting for the visa package and passport. Lots of people are waiting for their visas and even for the interview date. Yeh I did sent them bunch of inquiries and they responded after 3 weeks stating the AP is necessary and they haven't forgotten our case neither it has fallen through the cracks. Do I call the NVC to have them email the packets to me or I wait till they send the DS-3032 to my wife? Yes, call NVC. They will ask you the applicant name/DOB. Your name/DOB and they will read you your email which they should have on file. In my case they had the wrong email. I don't think they will send anything to you wife. Is it something you get online or I have to wait till they send it to my wife? I would say just wait for the Choice of Address and Agent (DS-3032) form. BUT make sure they have your correct email address!! I just received the COA form in the email. It took them a month. As you have foretold, I still cannot submit an e-Request because USCIS says I'm "within processing time"... even though I have waited for 5 months! However, according to this post, CSC's processing time for I-130 (Citizen for spouse) now seems to be 5 months plus 22 days. So it seems I must wait until February 1st, 2013. But until then, I'll try to submit an e-Request every day anyway. Yah man I too can't open a stupid SR. They told me the same thing HOWEVER you should ask them to escalate your call and transfer to tier2. That way you will speak to an immigration officer at your center where your file is (like Vermont, California, Texas, etc...) I did the same thing and the lady there told me that my file is all good it's just too much work load at Vermont and I should hear something from them within 30 days Give it a try and let us know how it goes. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-130 August 2012 Filers	I'm an August filer too. I filed my USC I-130 for spouse on Aug 2nd 2012 and got my case number "EAC...' on Aug 6th. I got the official NOA1 letter some time in mid Aug. Since then I've been waiting but haven't got my NOA2 yet. My case is sitting in VSC and last night I checked they were processing May 28th 2012 cases as of Nov 30th 2012. So now it has almost been a month and a week not sure what date they might be processing now considering the fact that in December lots of people take holidays..... I just tired to file an erequest online . It said our case is still in normal processing time ?! I m confused !!! I can't even see the normal processing time for Csc anymore ! How would I know whether it is normal or not ?! Anybody knows the answer ?! Snowbird7824, so if it has been more then 5 months and you haven't gotten your NOA2 then technically you can submit a service request to the service centers like Vermont service center? YES ! however, since it's a USCIS error (in my opinion), an Immigration Liason Staffer at a Congressman's office can get the error verified, then push for the expedite based on USCIS error. Lockbox->MSC->Local Office then approval there -> NVC 2. Lockbox->MSC then approval there-> NVC What I think happened to you, hence the USCIS error: Lockbox->MSC->Local Office with no adjudication -> NVC then NVC see a casefile without adjudication -> CSC HTH ! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Weird Status update.. Need help.. PD MAY 28, 2013	Local offices were given a date of 31 OCT 2013 to finish up stand-alone I-130 adjudications. IMO, that casefile movement from the local office was lagged, but finally left the local office. Is quite possible the casefile went out in a batch of other approved casefiles to NVC, but without adjudication (approved, denied, etc), someone at NVC caught the error (n adjudication) and they shipped it around, back to USCIS. If yer certain that the casefile is at CSC now, I suggest engaging with an Immigration Liason Staffer at a Congressman's office, and ask the ILS human to request an expedite due to USCIS error. Anyway, that's my two cents, after reading more in yer topic. I don't understand how can i request an expedite due to an error. Please help!	Sarahjb	Female	Pakistan	2013-12-21 16:33:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Weird Status update.. Need help.. PD MAY 28, 2013	ACK! I think it's a data error. Why? Usually this exact statement comes in to your status portal thingie only when the following events have transpired: 1. beneficiary has interview at an IV Unit . 2. IV Unit denies the case, sends it back to the USA to the National Visa Center (A Unit of the Department of State) 3. NVC sends the file to USCIS for review. So - If I were the petitioner, I'd be on the phone with USCIS on Monday Morning, talking with an ISO (not a CSR) as that 'status' is specious, a data error. Thank you! Will deff call them on Monday. PD MAY 28, 2013	It sounds to me that NVC (is that the State Department?) had it, but now it's gone back to USCIS for further review? :S never seen that status update before.   Edit: After looking on some other sites, and older threads from this site, it seems this is the kind of status updates you get after being denied a visa at interview, and then your case is sent back to USCIS to either re-affirm it or send out a Notice of Intent to Deny/Revoke. Have you attended an interview for the visa and been denied?   No, I haven't. It never came to the Islamabad embassy. On December 17th it said that our case was transferred to a local USCIS office and on December 19th it was at post decision activity. I check a few MCS numbers ahead me, all of them had the same status. According to tier 2 our case is transferred to CSC and is still in pending. So confused!!
