K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE case transfer to texas!! feb filer	Hmmmm sounds like maybe texas is formatting differently since they are new to the I-129F petitions.  I'd definitely call the number listed tomorrow and get more information, especially since the sheet they say to send back isn't there or perhaps it's there but not on the colored paper it's said to be on.  Mine was on standard white background paper.   Okay thank u so much and I have one more question.. do u think after I turn in my rfe that it would take long to get my approval ????? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE case transfer to texas!! feb filer	To be a July 3rd due date, they'd have had to send you the RFE back in April sometime.  I received my hard copy in the mail less than a week from the date they sent it.  I'd guess that July 3rd was the date they requested the information.     I'm attaching a redacted jpg showing my RFE, so you can see how mine looked and compare it to yours.  Note that the RFE date was June 5 towards the top and the date I had to respond by is at the bottom of the image.  This was basically the top 2/3 of page 1 of my RFE.  Hope it helps Oh wow mine looks really different and has nothing that u have on ot right now.. it says department of homeland security and says it cam from texas and is written like a regular letter and has no date and it also says that attach the gold paper with it but I didnt get any gold paper???? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE case transfer to texas!! feb filer	I received an RFE on June 5th and the date I was given to have it returned by was August 28th.  My return date was written in extra large and bold font just below the box with our names and case number and date of RFE.  All this was on page 1 and page 2 is where it told me what I information I needed to supply them with.  Mine was relatively simple so I sent it the next day, but if you need more time, you should still be ok if you get it out as soon as you can.  As the other poster suggested though, it won't hurt to call USCIS and get clarification from a tier 2 person.   So u dont think july 3rd is the due date??? But it states that I should respond to the request as early as possible and not layer than the due date ! The problem is that I dont see no due date.. the onyl date written on the top of the paper is july 3rd and I jusy received this july 8!! VSC	If VSC transferred pretty much all of Dec-Jan somewhere else, that means that after they're done with Nov they will start on Feb right away. So we should be seeing Dec and Feb approvals at pretty much the same time. Hopefully wherever they transferred Dec-Jan to will process them fast. Hope soo!! If you want to have them look into your case specifically, be sure to include your EAC number and what you require of them. We've written to both our Senator and congressman. They both sent us responses asking for permission to access our case. We responded to the congressman for now, then will send off to the Senator on June 17th.   Something like (obviously including who it's addressed to at the top and whatnot) -   Dear Congressman _____,                                              I am writing regarding my I-129F Petition for Fiance(e) currently filed at the Vermont Service Center, reference number EAC _____________, and the general processing times for such petitions. The Vermont Service Center........   Yada yada. Whatever you want to put really. Say what's on your mind.     Thank youu !! I will contact my senate right now on his web page! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	USCIS announced today 1 year timeline for K-1 Apps	I do not plan to hang on anything until the announcement is posted on a government site. USCIS states goal of 5 months and average national processing time is 10 months. On a positive note, the VJ site shows CSC down to 194 days. I don't think the heading of this post is appropriate- USCIS did not make such an announcement...... Normally it goes to NVC very quickly and then to the embassy within a couple of weeks from what I have seen. I would be vigorously tracking it to see where it is. Now CSC has approved 9 VJ members in two days eight of which are right around December 1st, this is no coincidence they are up to no good, too many approvals at that target date also they haven't approved that many in two days in recent history.. I can tell you that in my exprience the NVC received the file one week after the NOA2, I called them about 10 days after the NOA2 and got the case # from them, at that time they said the case would be sent out by the end of the week. It was a vey quick process. They do not set the interview date. I can only speak for the process at the Russian Embassy, I waited a couple more weeks to let the Embassy get the case then I was able to get on the Embassy website, and pay the fee and schedule the interview with the case # from the NVC. it may not be quite that fast in other counties. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	This post is relevant today! K1- filers & others	There's a queue and there's a priority assigned by type, by the Center Director. Queue is normal, FIFO, and the priority is changed at whim. That's it, really. DACA mess up for others? Absolutely ! Why? The Center Director made a decision. Isn't that a ridiculous situation where just one Center Director has the power to make a single solitary important decision like that and has this ability to majorly delay and keep legal law abiding couples apart? And USC who are going through the proper process/procedures get shafted? It is a shame that we as law abiding United States Citizens do not take precedence over illegal law breaking individuals who are rewarded in such a way that they get golden tickets to continue living their lives quickly, even though they are already here in the USA. Is there any rhyme or reason that can help me understand this better? Because this really looks so BAD on the California Service Centers part in all this. Received cell phone text on June 3, 2013 at 11:46 a.m. that states "Case Status Change."   Website reads:   On June 3, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail.   Received hard copy June 7, 2013 and they are asking for intent to get married within 90 days of arriving to the US, which we had already sent both original signed intent to marry documents the first time. Waiting for fiance's signed intent letter that was send express mail to arrive from his country to me, either today or tomorrow and I will send it out overnight/next day service with both his and mine original signed document together for intent to marry. USCIS should get it no later than Thursday, this week. YES, the intent to marry signed documents from both of us was sent in with original I-209F packet to begin with but for some reason they want it again.  Go Figure?     Reading your post, we are in the similar sort of situation, will follow to keep updated, thanks for posting! Good Luck!!   We are a March filer, received our NOA2 June 24, 2013.  I pray this information gives others hope in their NOA1 wait.      We are now waiting for new case number from NVC, which is possibly another 30 day wait.... It feels like we wait forever to get approval, just to hurry up and wait for National Visa Center to issue a new file number, and then eventually they will send it to the Embassy. The Embassy is where we will have to wait for an interview ....  This is a long and tedious process, not for the faint of heart or someone that is always in a rush. It needs to have a date closer to the interview and say something like "I am reaffirming my intent to marry within 90 days"... it's silly, I guess they want to make sure you didn't change your mind during the eternity that it took them to process your case.    I am still waiting for approval NOA2, have not gotten it yet.  Guess I should have sent him a notebook full of multiple pages of intent to marry in 90 days for him to sign. Hi Guys   We are April filers so we are right behind you.  I am wondering if this is something new.  I heard after the NOA2 that we are supposed to send an updated intent to marry for the interview. So strange!!!! We both sent one with the original I-129 I thought that was going to be it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	After reading multiple posts today, a word of advice	Don't put deposits down on weddings. Don't book airfare. Don't pay for anything that is non refundable. Just DON'T, until there is a visa in hand. People get denied, paperwork takes a long time or gets lost. Save some stress. That is all. boy oh boy is this so true. I had to learn this the hard way. I am just that kind of person who likes to plann ahead. I was told to wait, but did i lesten to anyone, oh no not this woman. lol. I hate late minute preperations, but with something like this i had a very hard learning experience fom it all. I had to go back and undo some plans and it is not easy to explain to people why you had to change your plans without all the hurt that could be there because of a denial. So it is wise to wait. on the brite side. atleast have plans on paper, and somekind of a idea of how you want things to be done such as your ceremony and party. also the food and music. i have it all done, I just cant say much to anyone as far as a date. especially since i have to now go to morocco to marrry. we have planned for there some as far a guest list and photographer, where my dreses will come from and that, whose prepareing the food,and who will drive us around on that day. planning is exciting and fun and it should be, but this thing with governments can make you have to "throw some caution to the wind." you know it can be a blst to have ceremonies in both countries...lol.	princess apple	Female	Morocco	2011-04-01 16:20:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Hey, saylin.. need help.. I have two police certificates. The latest one has my husband's Pakistan's address on it but now I am not living there anymore.  I can't live alone in the house as my in laws are in the US. DS-260 has this present address section, if I write my parent's address would that be ok ? However, I have another police certificate stating my previous address (which where I am living now, my parent's house). Is this gonna complicate it ? Thank you!
