IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2013 I-130 Filers	I wonder if the "last update" date changes when/if they transfer the case to the local field office... I haven seen people who got there spouses here in 6 months and for some it is taking more than that. But I think you guys got a plus because you guys applied early in the year and there are not much Federal Holidays coming in upcoming months :-) this will for sure speed up the process. Hang in there man we are all in the same boat. It has been 5 months for me already. My friend has been waiting for past 8 months and they told him to wait another 2 months. Wish you all the best. Your Current Case Status for Form I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) On April 19, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations. Congratulations! If you get a REF, it will be you anyway who will be sending info to USCIS. Lawyer no longer needed after petition is sent in, in my opinion. You are paying them to do their job, make them earn it and do it correctly.  I feel like I did most of the job, I havent talked to my lawyer since I filed and thwy haven't even talked to me at all, they just want money and they are no help, I called yesterday and put in a service request for typographical and they saidnin 15 to 30 days ill get a letyer back in the mail saying that it was solved ..   No way! Ill check now, do u thimk that means they have arrived at texaS?   no mine still says   The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. I assume it means 2 on Fri acknowledgment case leaving VSC and today Texas acknowledging receipt... anyone disagree? He received the confirmation hardcopy letter today. We sent to the lock bag in Texas but am not really sure of what office was taking care of our paperwork... regardless it has been sent somewhere else which they haven't specified just yet :/ We have just clocked over the 4 month mark. I am attempting to be optimistic that we will get our NOA2 in the next month! Yes same happened to us and that means texas service center is now processing our cases and hopefully we will get our noa2 soon because texas seems to be moving very fast!! When USCIS changed it timeline to 5months, I immediately filed for an e-request because i just hit the 6th month that time surprisingly i was approved the next day. Keep your faith going.
